I can help you out with Persona. I'd love to know how you got Melty Blood if we ever meet up. Blazblue is a game I just got back into but i'm really not looking forward to Chrono but i'm probably gonna have to get it anyways (I'm kinda against arcsystem's way of handling revisions). What part of Ct do you hail from though, Taiga?

Welcome, Taiga! I am actually looking forward to going to New challengers on February 16th but they said there are too many games running now that MK9 has been added as a small exhibition tournament (which I suggested and gonna go there for). I'm pretty sure the next one will have Persona running now with the EVO announcement and all. ETC is pretty much the only place where I can get casuals in since it's the closest place to where I live if anyone is willing to go for Persona or anything anime related really and where I can attempt to build interest at (and get better). I mean, now that I don't work on Tuesdays and Thursdays anymore, I can totally make it there if I have a reason to go. What games do you play Taiga? I would definitely look forward to Persona, but anything else?

So, new plan.... I'm gonna play Persona and MK9 more than BB and GG. Gonna have to replace Melty Blood with MK9. :\ See you all/some of you at EVO. I'll await any news on side tournaments/casuals.

Still trying to figure out how to get MB and AH on my PC.

1) What challenges in challenge mode are practical? I feel like i'm wasting my time with some of them. 2) I'm having a hard time connecting j.a>j.c>j.d on the second jump after the dive cancel into 5d>j.a>j.a. It keeps dropping every time I try to time or input differently at every attempt I can. Closest I get is hitting one j.a right before the dummy techs out of it. What can I be doing wrong? I have no idea how I did it before.

I'm pretty sure GG will get in there somehow. But I do have my doubts. Remember how skullgirls got rejected from the EVO lineup and everyone had to settle with a side tournament? I mean as my first time ever going to this tournament, i'm just going to spectate, get some casuals in, and maybe enter side tournaments. Unless P4A, GG, and Melee do make it. We'll see tomorrow.

I know this is a bit early but...is anyone here planning on going to EVO?

I play nothing but fighters.Mostly 2D fighters. I was bound to eventually find this game and play it. I also have a thing for anime fighters.

I pick whoever looks cool/I like. And they end being the right ones for me 100% of the time. Just like every other fighter. Hence why I picked Arakune and Taokaka. (The Insane/Awkward/Somewhat funny one and the Funny/cute one) However, Arakune fits my playstyle a lot more than Tao does so he is my main (Bait/Keep away/Expose opponent's reaction to my actions), but Tao is a lot easier to use FOR SOME REASON. :\ Still, I want to get better with Arakune.

I hope you're right. They will most likely make character/balance changes and the new mechanics will come into play big time. But then again, I havent read the loktest reviews from players yet but that's just my worries.

I really want to be good at BB extend. And I mean, actually go to tournaments and take it to a whole new level so I was a bit frustrated hearing about a new game. I really hope theres delay. But I won't jinx for the sake of everyone else. ^_^

I just got Extend this summer and was gonna learn this game a lot more starting January. ...And they are coming out with this? > Not that hyped. This is just as bad as the new consoles that are being released soon (I just got my first 360 two years ago). X(
