BB anime would legitimately renew my interest in watching anime. It's been quite stagnant as of late.

GGs everybody. Pretty good session of netplay, though I could have done better. Akihiko mirror is probably my favorite MU in this game. So fun and fast-paced. Reminds me of playing the Ragna mirror match back in BB.

I came to post of track 2 as well. I don't much care for dubstep, if this song is in fact that, but something particularly odd about this song grabs me. It is without a doubt the best of the 5. The only track I have no care for is track 5. The others, while less enjoyable than 2, are still quite good.

BB got me into seriously playing fighting games instead of just mashing buttons and hoping for the best. It also gave me a taste of competitive gaming. P4U on the other hand made me feel as if I was apart of something pretty good (shout outs to the Liz forums!!!). I also met a ton of cool people, as well as some really shitty people due to me going out to tournaments. Whether this was a positive or negative experience overall, I'm not too sure. Competitive environments can bring out the best and the worst in people.

Not to my surprise, Under Heaven Destruction II & White Requiem II are godlike. I liked them their original counterparts a lot (maybe because I played Ragna ), and now they're even better. UHD II is faster, as does WR II. Blood Pain II is kind of meh to me. Sounds really same-y, but not as good as the original. EDIT: Relius vs. Valk sounds pretty good to me. Very Guilty Gear-ish as the others have said. I want to say that it is reminiscent of Blue Water, Blue Sky.

While I will only play if people want to, I would like to try my hand at commentary. Never done it before, but I know enough things about this game to have an informed opinion, at least I believe so.

If I'm not totally broke by then, I'm in there! Part of me wishes that we were still using the team format for P4U though ;w;. How I miss it so.

Accent Core & Accent Core+ are the same game. I think AC+ only fixed some bugs with the original.

Okusan qualified for Arc Revo. I forget who he plays first, but I have faith in him.

Just how bad is this MU? Teddie is like, nigh untouchable once he takes to the air.

Height dependent. Make sure the opponent plops up after 236D [2].

Yeah, the damage is practically the same. I only mentioned how badly it prorates because it disallows a third garu. If you don't want to do sb > d garu x2, then don't worry about it. I don't like OMC throw combos because you're getting the same situation if you do not OMC. While I never thought about it in terms of corner carry, I always assumed the purpose of CH throw combo was to cause a knockdown. OMC CH throw combo ends in j.C, and so do the non-OMC combos. You end up doing meaty 5C/5D either way, I would just not waste the meter on it unless I wanted the damage.

Garu has character specific parameters, kinda. On Elizabeth, Yosuke, Labrys/Shadow Labrys, Akihiko, and Naoto, you just do [2] (as in holding down). On everyone else, you must do [9~3], as in holding 9, and then going to 3. The extent of which you must hold 9 before going to 3 is different for everyone. However, for the upward SB garu & downward D garu, it's universal. That linked combo works on everyone, but the way in which the third garu was done is specific to the [2] characters.

In my opinion, you want to get the Garu elevator/Garu loop down first. They may be somewhat intimidating at first, but with practice, you'll get it in no time. The Garu route is also the best combo route for Elizabeth in my opinion. Only way to turn 5A into 4k meterless. For example, you could start with 5A > 5B > 2AB > 236CD [2] > 2AB > 236D [9~3] > 2A > 5B > 5C (2) > 2C > 214B x2 > j.C. Afterwards, you can amend this combo by doing 236CD [9] > 236D [2] > 2AB > 236D [9~3] instead. Here's an example of the Garu elevator combo (yay, free video plug). All of the combos in that video are basic, and I would suggest that you watch the video to get an idea of some combos. Keep in mind that this video was made in September though, so some of this stuff is outdated. When you're feeling more comfortable, you can move on to more tricky stuff like 2B > j.B loops, or 2A > 236D loops.
