Everyone can play, as long as they have the US version. Does the game allow US to EU version connections? I haven't had a chance to test it.

A friendly online ranked PSN tournament using the swiss system, everyone gets a chance to play equally under this type of tournament without being eliminated. These will take place every Sunday, we may reschedule to a different day if necessary. Players of any and all skills levels welcome, register yourself at the challonge link or post your PSN here to be added. All tournament points will be added up to your total ranking score. This is where you will be reporting your matches to me so I can update the challonge page brackets and talking to the other players. If you're unable to IRC, you can message me the results on PSN. Time: Sunday, Feb 15th, 2015, 7:00 pm EST, 6 central, 4 PST, etc. You may enter anytime up till 5 minutes before the matches start. Rules: Each match is best 2 out of 3. Winner is not allowed to switch characters No game breaking glitches. You must have the NA version of the game Players must check in before the tournament starts If someone does not show up for their match in 5 minutes they will be given a warning, and in 5 more minutes they will be disqualified for the round Someone from the match must report who won, but the winner is the one that is held responsible for it. Any player may choose to forfeit if they decide the connection is unplayable. The other player will simply get the win. If both players agree the connection is bad or don't want to play in it, they may report a draw. Otherwise, standard Swiss System rules. Whoever has the most points at the end wins. Ties are broken by tie breaker points, unless they are top 3, then they can be decided with a whole set of best 2 out of 3. That's why I highly suggest Persona if your friends are struggling with Xrd in general, as there is no input buffer in Xrd which makes it a strict and precise game, while Persona is extremely lenient.

That's the beauty of fighting games though, so much variety for different kinds of people. Persona can give you exactly what you desire.

I'd like to join as well, skype sanger-zonvolt. Also j.p is so good, it's really great to stop people who pop up too high from falling out your combo when you substitute j.s with j.p.

In my opinion that character is Faust. Faust weirdness, his fun moveset, he is a perfect example of Guilty Gear creativity.

If you're looking for characters with strong mix-up, you'll want to look into Millia, Ramlethal, Chipp, and I-no.

Yeah anyone on the Japan version will experience higher delay than those on the US version. I get 6-7f while my opponent on the US version gets 2-3f. I really hope 1.03 fixes this.

Turns out my IAD troubles were related to my pad, I can do it perfectly on a new a pad. I'm happy that frustration is gone.

I've realized I need to stop trying to do cool stuff in netplay. (Dash links, dust loop) The netcode is pretty standard fare for ASW, the delay is really getting to me as I get better at the game though. All the new people online now using English voices causing 19f desyncs is pretty annoying.
