Cool, thx. Another Q for you guys with access to AC: is j.D's start-up short enough for you to use j.D to continuously extend ground block strings? For example, do these: 5P -> j.D(5P-)2K-5Sc -> j.D5Sf -> j.D2K-5Sc-2D -> j.D6P -> j.D ... all followed up by something like FRC iad.j.S-P-K-j.D/land... keep the opponent in continuous block stun (assuming they don't IB or SB)?
-
Baiken is pretty common these days so just hit up the last page or so of the Video Posting thread and there should be something worth downloading.
-
Xeno: www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/ The matches of Sangou from That Is 50 Quality are the four ZIP files; the movie "Bad Boy" is the file "movie07.wmv". r0b0t: in the "Movie Making/Video Recording Discussion" sticky (in this forum), there is a link to a thread called something like "Nehle's guide to encoding". I'd give that a shot.
-
using Windows Media Player works, too. I've noticed if you're trying to watch with BS Player, it'll open the video, but then immediately "Close" because the filename is in Japanese (as Xeno pointed out).
-
just look back about 5 or 6 posts...
-
Yup, here they are: http://www.strokethebigtree.com/rtl_s_movies/Anngora/
-
well yes of course, but i meant for tension expenditure: 25% for the full sequence of three inputs, or 25% for the first two then another 25% for the third input?
-
oh right, i forgot about that
-
oh that's right, i forgot Sakura scales damage now btw, could someone refresh me on how FB Baku works? 214+D is for the initial hit/curse, and takes 25%, but then what -- P/K/S for free, then another P/K/S/HS/D for another 25%?
-
? i don't see any costume sets...
-
they used to do something like that with the CMs from this one site, but it was kinda awful to watch because then the transcription took up about half the screen, top and bottom x( but subtitles would definitely fix that...
-
i soft deleted it because i couldn't keep it updated regularly enough, but i am planning to bring it back after school's out this May, fresh and updated for AC. i can email you a copy of the page if you'd like.
-
i was talking to a friend of mine who's seen that same glitch in another game, and at least from what we gathered from the visuals (i haven't deciphered the japanese), it looks like you can avoid getting knocked down as long as you're already in blockstun. maybe someone can clarify that, though.
-
hey hey, new combo~ on aerial counter hit: FB Baku -> (dash) relaunch into something ending in j.D damage doesn't look huge or anything, but FB Baku is the fastest guard cancel in the world and could be very applicable!
-
thx ^__^b i'll post at 517's BBS and pass that along.

The first clip was already posted elsewhere by Zakuta Asura, but for completeness: http://www5f.biglobe.ne.jp/~k1102tennsi/ggxxfile/slide.zip http://www5f.biglobe.ne.jp/~k1102tennsi/ggxxfile/omake.zip The first file is a showcase of apparent glitches that allow Order Sol to avoid getting knocked down by Pot's Slide Head. The second ZIP has 4 clips: the first 3 show Order Sol Air SBing Pot's Heat Knuckle and then FDing Heat Extend. The last one shows... uh... Order Sol trading with Pot's Air PB for a simultaneous counter hit? I'm not quite sure...

there are a couple of ways for you to re-map your buttons on the PS2 pad that I can think of: 1) Probably one of the best ways would be to have: [] = P X = K L1 = S R1 = H R2 = D L2 = Taunt (... or some analogous permutation of the attack button mappings.) As far as I can tell, this most closely approximates F/RCing on an arcade stick, since you would use three fingers (left and right index fingers, right thumb) to execute the F/RC. This also allows you to almost get the precision of being able to negative edge like on a stick. The only possible problem with this is using your left index finger for S, but I think this would only be an initial obstacle. 2) This is the layout that I use: [] = P X = K /\ = S R1 = H R2 = D L1 = Taunt You can re-arrange some of the mappings, like have R1 = D and R2 = H; stuff like that... 3) Of course, with enough practice, you *can* actually do a bunch of the technically harder inputs with the default config.

keep the sex outta the thread, i'm getting REALLY irritated by how off-topic you guys are getting >=0
