  1. 1/31 Tsurumaki G3 Best bout 2on2 Semi-1 Semi-2 Final
  2. Tier doesn't matter when you consider match-ups. Just look at each one individually instead of S tier vs A tier, etc. There isn't anything anywhere as bad as Nu and arakune in CS, so the answer is better. I think hakumen's worst match-up in CS is taokaka.
  3. It's definitely safer to try to outpoke Bang in CS, but you still need correct spacing to defend against throw first. Next thing is to make sure you cut his nails, which makes it much much harder for bang to approach. Outside of that you just have to outguess your opponent. And of course get into the corner so he can't cross you up.

  6. It is in this matchup. Arakune's goal is air-tight pressure during rakuin, so CA is a viable option. If hakumen is unable to get a barrier out and gets locked down, arakune still can't just freely approach hakumen due to CA. Once arakune get past CA he still needs to get pass IB>yukikaze. That's a lot of things to get past in not much time. Most characters are just bat-shit out of luck once arakune is in rakuin, but in this match-up it really isn't that bad.
  7. Strategy proposed by Film in new Rejarand video: During rakuin pressure, when Arakune goes for 2A/6A>2B/jC mixup options, IB the prior and yukikaze, which will defend any trick he may be able to throw out. Let your opponent know this, then Arakune's rakuin pressure on hakumen will be even weaker on top of CA and barrier.

  14. Because you won't hit him, and he will land, recover, and get a free reset.
  15. Bladeofjustice, that's a bit incorrect. You are not in a defensive position only when you are blocking stuff. Considering Ragna's range and the effectiveness of 5B on block, at most distances you are in a defensive position even if no attacks are being thrown out. Defensive aggression is trying to win the position battle, and for Hakumen in this match-up you are trying to either get into point blank range or long range, as any distance between those two Ragna has pretty good advantage. The best way to do that is occasional kishuu, occasional airdash, and a lot of walking forward and backward. Also, at just outside of midrange, it's possible to catch most of Ragna's option at that range on reaction (The only risky thing to catch being 5C really). But don't make it a habit. Not to mention I doubt good players would ever do that anyways.
  16. Again, a video would be a lot more helpful. As far as general match-up goes, while Ragna can frame trap, they are all either very slow or high risk. So it's a simple matter of just playing the numbers. Getting in on him isn't difficult, it just takes time. dp should not be a problem, and 6A only matters if you are in the air too much (doesn't matter if you are air dashing or not. Ragna can get under you quickly, which is a pretty bad position for hakumen). Stay on the ground. Not sure what you mean by far jC. 6A will crush jC at basically all effective range. And if it's any farther then just reposition because he will whiff. And if he isn't doing anything unsafe, then there is no way he should crack your defense. Ragna's pressure is terribad if he doesn't use any of his high risk moves (which is basically 90% of them). You are probably playing too one-dimensional/aggressive, and then when you get sealed you turn passive. You should be playing defensive aggression, and turning the heat on when you get a correct read, then just decide if you want to get a mixup set-up or set a trap (generally against dp).
  17. You mean has it been posted? If that's what you are asking then yes (again probably not here).
  18. It has been posted before (not here I don't think), and that is suzume.
  19. Make sure to check out the new Suzume vs Gorou match from tachikawa. Very good reference for Nu match-up, had some good combo selections, 2 very cool setups, and just overall extremely high level play. Great match.

  21. No. Information I get and ideas I have result from asking around or just reading people's opinion. Everything else you can just pick up from watching vids.
  22. I think I just screwed up the corner combo iirc. I was trying to get a set-up by knockdown via j2C. It just didn't come out. And I always go for knockdown in the corner unless I'm going for the kill. Hakumen has a good mix-up game. He just can't sustain it.
  23. Don't use either of those moves if Noel is running at you.
  24. For starters don't just stand there. You weren't playing defensive, you were playing 100% passive. You should never play passive. Basically what happened was your opponent did whatever he wanted because you weren't applying pressure on him just by adjusting your position and going to safe empty reads. At about 1.5 character length it's best to just play by reaction. Noel beats hakumen fairly cleanly on most options at this range. The noel was in the air often and had really bad approach positions almost every time. Get in a good position, and mix 6A, dp, air throw, ground throw, feints, etc. Don't give them free jump ins. There is nothing wrong with eating a combo. I don't know why you'd reason that defensive is good idea because you may eat a combo. I don't get the reason at all. You need to work on defense. Considering the Noel didn't have set-up of any type, you shouldn't fall for 6B on wake-up, twice. Not to mention that Noel's pressure was very weak. Stop doing 5C on their run in. More A and B moves. Figure out when to do them by watching JP vids. Considering that it doesn't look like you know how to control distances atm, it's a good idea to work on safe fundamentals first. Your usage of catch is incorrect. Don't fish for random hits. Either catch after IB, or bait something to catch. Don't worry about IB too much since it's online, just remember not to randomly stick out catch. hit confirm better. I don't have much I can comment on considering you weren't doing anything. Again, never play completely passive. There is a difference between defensive and passive. And the other important thing is to know the purpose of each of your moves. It doesn't look like you know when to use what move (both normals and specials)
  25. What the hell were you doing? Do you not know this match-up?
