I kinda would have structured it similar to Calamity Trigger Reconstruction; cycling between the perspectives of Ragna, Jin, and Noel as they encounter different characters for about 2-3 episodes, then go all the time loop crap. The last few episodes could cover the true ending. Adapting Blazblue into an anime is hard because of the goddamn time loops; you can't omit them because they are a vital part of the story, but because of that it leads to some samey material.

But if Bloodedge is CP Ragna, how does he get thrown back again? he would need to be have thrown into another cauldron.

They might be super jumping a bit higher when Hotaru comes out, I know I've done it.

I never said it does, and everyone generally agrees its average at best, but nobody was really expecting anything spectacular in the first place.

Look, I understand that everything is subject to criticism, and I also understand that this show doesn't do a well enough job of establishing its setting to newcomers. But here's the thing, that's not its purpose; its a tie-in to a fairly popular series and its purpose is to promote the games, and give people incentive to check them out. All of those things you pointed out are things that people are going to want answers to, how are they going to get those answers? By playing the games.
