Well he did say he has his current view because when he was making Nirvana, he discovered the "true essence of people" and concluded that they're nothing more than things, and Relius being a man of science decides to further his studies, but feels that observers like Rachel, and Takamaghara are hindering him, which is why he's allied with Hazama. He's not a dick just for the sake of it, he just wants to proceed with his studies.

To be fair, there is literally no other woman(Or anyone actually except arguably Makoto to a much lesser extent) in the series Jin cares for as much as he does for Tsubaki, so romantic or not, she is still the most important person to him.

Strangely enough, I somewhat agree with this, you'd never guess Jin was even meant to be one of the main characters along with Ragna & Noel considering how little he's done compared to those two. Mori didn't even mention him when he said who was going to be important or not in that recent interview.

Antihero is the term you're looking for. Both Jin & Hakumen are assholes, Jin more so due to Yukianesa's influence but even without it they were still pretty cold, and indifferent to most of the things around them, mostly because of their upbringings in the Kisaragi household. His only real friend growing up was Tsubaki, so it makes sense that he'd treat her nicely...mostly.

My money is on #1, because this being Anime, the main rivals always settle their differences and beat the baddie, and no amounts of incest related shit is going to change that cliche.

I detected lots of butthurt in that rant, and I kinda blacked out in the first part of the second paragraph. On the subject of Jin, I really am not surprised. It'd be pretty boring if he just became a second Hakumen, and it's not like he's any better when it comes to wanting to kill Ragna either, he's just dignified about it. People need to remember that even when Yukianesa wasn't driving him crazy, Jin was always obsessed with Ragna, and having embraced "The Power of Order" he's compelled to want to kill him, it's who he is. And this is completely ignoring that killing Ragna is only ONE of his goals now, the other being saving Tsubaki. Just because he's not Hakumen #2 doesn't mean the development he had in CS didn't stick. As for Tsubaki, she's being manipulated by outside forces and lied to that her best friend stole her place beside the man she loved, plus having grown up believing that she must obey the NOL no matter what, you can't really fault her too much there because that would fuck with anyone's sense of morality. Why is it that whenever the characters fuck up, or do things their fans don't like they're quick to scream butthurt instead of blaming the person who's responsible for damn near all of this shit, Hazama. I never see anyone direct their hatred to him, it's like he's trolling so hard he makes people even stupider.

Weirdly, I'm never able to use Hotaru because I always fuck up the TK motion, yet I can do Tsubaki just fine....dafaq.
