great improvement all you need is to learn the little tricks to advance your mixup game(fdc j.k, taunt mixup) your getting the command throw down your doing frc's :yaaay: also with certain tips against po : his body is big but relaunching when he gets hit by pogo from afar is usually a no no since his body slides weird....also with looping be careful because if he tech'd out when he should of you could of ate huge damage. also getting out of slidehead traps.... !post up on the pogo and throw items every chance you get! ....it's safe and puts you into a good position..... 1) because slidehead is not a factor anymore and he can't get over to you without getting fucked up....why? 2) because if he tries hammerfall while your on pogo you do GOING MY WAY...learn to predict it and po won't attack so recklessly all in all i see you throwing more items, finishing combo's, and playing alot smarter great improvement overall def doesn't look like the same player from the last batch of vids you had.. need any dizzy matchup tips......<--- plays alex garvin

Just thought i should move this here got a new dust combo****most damaging does roughly around 157-209 depending on character selection D^--HS--HS ----Air dash--- D---214D---p(p)---hs can be done anywhere on the screen but you need to be far away if not in the corner cost's 25% tension but if puts you in a great position after going my way

i don't know if you experience this but the people i play against know how to play against Faust and when i throw a donut or candy ....... they get on my ass like shit on velcro 5p for okizeme isn't really the best option because some people don't block on wakeup they attack for instance sol, ky, bridget, jam, slayer, po <- they all have dp's or moves that can avoid that attack and punish you for big damage with 2k you beat ky's dp and jam's and if timed right can avoid sol's while at the same time stopping slayer's dandy step and slowing down po's backdash edit: also if done to close to certain characters like sol....it will wiff him crouching....and as i sad before the sol i play knows that

like i said in the vid thread, you need to throw more items and not drop so many combos you also have to knockdown more...intstead of ending your combos with jp/jk>jhs end it with jk>jd this allows you to knock down your opponent which equals to= moarrr mixups you need to know your character completley first before you can learn matchups and i don't think anyone will disagree with me on that biggest problem is you do not throw enough items at all esp against ABA and Venom... and in that matchup...well shit every match-up that is very important.(did you notice every round you threw alot of items you did good and the ones you got raped you threw damn near none?) know what each item does: what areas they cover......what might your opponent do as a reaction of you throwing these certain items...what can you do so they can get hit by theses items. just throwing them out there and praying they hit is not proper Faust play learn what you can get off of counter hits on every move and how to finish combos(FlashMetriod rule: need to do it perfectly 10 times in a row then you got it)...learn how to FDC properly so that your wakeup game won't be limited to 2k<--very important once that is completed your match-up experience on those characters will come alot easier because me telling you to FRC the 214k doors on venom and grab him while he plants balls and set up a command grab trap/fdc.jk-to combo or mixup on wakeup might be a bit much since i didn't even see you FRC once or command grab oh yeah and go to youtube...type in search RF Accent core....study from this man

get used to just doing jump fdc hardslash....get it to were the scalpel reaches it's full potential in range being the lowest to the ground as possible this will help you prep for it...it helped me you will notice your doing it properly when you see his body slow down and float in the air what is actually happening is that he cancels his j 2k and keeps the same gravity from the move allowing him to do other things but the timing is pretty strict you have to do the j2k and after pressing that direction on the stick you immediatly slide your stick from the 2 to the 1 position and at the same time hitting p to activate FD...then comes the kick...or hardslasher when you have that down all it is from there on is practice ...like alot so if you wanna throw it out at will no matter what !You Can!.....this was prob the most hardest thing for me to learn...and it sucks when you fuck it up cause everyone can tell now with air pogo it is the mother fucking shit i believe this move tremedously helps out his game in about 4 different ways 1st. you can combo into it..(Duh) -- it's a good ender with the command grab in the corner RF shit 2nd. it can cross up -- and if on counter hit you can turn around and pop em back up with flower -- i do air pogo when i'm high in the air and my opponent can't see his/her body which lets me get crazy with it 3rd. it closes the gap on ranged characters/and helps establish pressure -- a high air dash to FB pogo can get you in the opponents face very fast and in most cases you can get down and start your pressure due to the fact that there are scared of you doing Slash, 66, or 55 so you can get that great mid range pressure in good and fast 4th. it's just the damn shit -- it's got great priority , great speed , you can't block on it but 66,55 have some invincibility along with k[head flower(*great anti-air*)] and your hit-box is very tiny -- if your coming down off of counter hit with the bottom it's a free knockdown and relauch, counter hit p(baghead) scores a knockdown and relaunch along with k(headflower) s(ground flower) and 55,66(shoulder/back-smash). -- can do some trickyness like super jump 236p(bomb bag) opponent blocks....then you come straight down on pogo and do s(ground flower)....MIxup i believe... --- really fucking hard to anti air...(it clashes with viper for fucks sake) it's just the shit watch vids of japs and me and you'll see what i'm talking about oh and i can't make it sat but i am going to WillVo

it's like more around 34% but it can be the most damaging ground string to knockdown that he has against Po with no tension used also Faust players if your having trouble linking into the 5p 2d jk jd you dash as soon as you hit the ground from the jHS putting faust a bit of a slide which allows him to do those last few hits to knock down..... the other combo i stated that does 146 there is no need to do this since the attacks are long enough

yeah this is Defure he's damn good 1. R.F 2. Defure he runs a very close second but i've done the 5k mettakiri many times it's a good set up 5s 5p....repeat is also a good block string to end with 5p-6hs

oh well they were recorded by willvolution not by any of the FRXI staff and from what i've heard a lot of the footage has been damaged and/or lost. soo ?? what's the deal? yeah i've really toned that down alot ....only somtimes now what really fucked me was the miss timing on the 2k for the puff balls and not being able to do fdc j.k casue my stick was fucked up sorry for the double post

2hs-> 5p and repeat all day and 5(far)s -2k mix in a little fdc hs to cover the air just watch jap vids of how faust's apply pressure....his are very short nothing like a venom or eddie string just 4-5 hits then bait
