  2. Soo i guess RF don't play no more
  3. Amazing video River!!!!
  4. Kazuki is amazing BBTB: Basic Butt that Balls!! I don't know how Kazuki has no life and just completely turns the round everytime, amazing player.
  5. haha I tend to play risky as hell (gotta tone that down lol), Yeah I figured he played something to that nature but on a extraordinary level.
  6. I'm just asking a silly question about a comment you made, what is it that sets RF's Faust apart from the rest of the really good Faust's in JP? Is his speed or play-style really weird or is he just textbook? ....but I will say Kiisha has been doing some crazy shit lately
  7. aiight I just found out my parents are helping me out for Evo.. Teams once again? Lemmie know what's good

  8. You shut your mouth Nik Nebber.... i dare you to reply!!!! And the reason is because looking up match vids of good players helps your game improve and gives you ideas on what things to do and why they are done....
  9. that ones from the new a-cho vids was nice. just putting that out there...
  10. Thanks for the Combo's fellas!!! I'll get some more shit in once i get the game... Keep it up!!!!
  11. This will be Arakune's Combo section, so any new shit on Arakune dealing damage or questions can go here. I have this old vid from early on to show you some of his basics for air combo's and a easy 6a loop: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g10aHEc2HA He has much more powerful ones now that involve his 6c rekka looping over and over again for massive damage. Vid Example (starts @3:05): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJY2apOFmDw Some BnB's taken from True_Tech's site: B,C jc air combo 2A x N, 2C low hit start up, end with 2C if you're too far away to hit D for the curse throw, f-inverse, (need notation for the follow up) Low J2D> C> air combo 6C> C> 2C> (rc)> 6C> C> 2C 2D> 3C> f Inverse (236236C)> D air combos JA> J6A> (jc)> JA> JB> JC> J2D JA> J6A> (jc)> JA> J6A> y. two-dash JA> J6A> (jc)> JA (× 1 ~ 3)> air throw> y. two-dash 6A aka Basketball combo *Notes from Fubarduck D> (6A> A ) × n> see notes for ender - You start it from a low-altitude j.2D. So you can get it off IAD j4B mixups, OR by comboing low A, 5B, 5D, C bug, j.2D (confirmed) - You don't have to hold 6. Just tapping 6A will give you the correct timing. - You do the next 6A right when the bug is hitting them. - You can either end it with j2C, j2D (to refill your curse meter) or 5D, jA, 236B, D bug for max damage. 6C loop combos Here's how to do the general 6C loop though. [6C > C > 2C> 2B bug > 6A bug] x 2-3 > j6A > A bug > jc > jC > jD (Near Corner) DC jB > 5A > 6B > jump cancel > j6C > jump cancel > j.A,B,C,D > [3]C bug, B bug, A bug > (at this point you've hit the corner and now are on the other side of them from where you started) 6C > C > 2C [during this move do a SUPER early] 6Abug, 1Bbug > j.6C > jump cancel > J.C,D. General Starters into 6C loops 2a > 5B > 5D > 214A fakeout > BC bug > 6C loop 6a > 5D > 236B invis > BC bug > 6C loop 2a x n > 2C (RC) > j6C > jc > jA > jA > jB > jC > j2D > BC bug > 6C loop near corner 5a > 6B > j6C > jc > jA > jB > jC > j2D > BC bug > 6C ender j2D > BCA bug > 6C loop j3D/j6D >BC bug > j6C > 236C > BC bug > 6C loop CH j2A/j2B/j2C > 5B > jc > jA > jA > jB > jC > j2D > BC bug > 6C loop throw combos Throw > 236236C 5D Air Throw > Land > 6A > 5D > JC > j.6A > JC > j.5B > j.5C > j.D Air Throw > Land > Laser Super > 6A > 5D > JC > j.6A > JC > j.5B > j.5C > j.D Air Throw > j.9 > j.c > j.d > CB bugs > 6C loop. Air Throw > j.9 > j.b > j.c > j.d > CB bugs > 6C loop
  12. you have to learn how to close the gap quickly,(air-dash -> airpogo) will cover some ground, but it is most effective when up close since your chances of combo'in after are greatly increased if your close. Example: 2k->2p->2s->2d-> 236p(bomb): then cross-up on wakeup.
  13. If you look at some of my match-up thread's (esp. vs slayer) it gives you a good idea on what to do when items are out... Here's my run down Candy: Depending on what range it's thrown out at(it can be far, close or mid) should decide when you should go for it. Some opponents like to grab it so... that can give you a chance to fuck em up, or they can avoid it and you find some option to keep them away. You have enough tools by yourself to keep them at bay for a little so yeah just stay calm and don't get caught slippin Mini-People: These guys can be handled many different ways but my best advice is stay with them!!! They provide you with a sort of safety shield to on coming traffic (GunFlames, exe beasts, etc...) and provide you with a chance to get some hits in. Also pay attention to the pattern's of flight for miniFaust and miniRobo-ky, I either stay with them while still in the air or i can wait till they hit the ground. Meteor's: Don't really just run in reckless because you could miss out on great damage. Watch out for Grab's or Great DP's, if they don't have the chance to do either Mix-em up. For example: I like to do FDC Feint to 2p right before they hit which score's great damage, or Respect to 2p. You could always just go crazy and 6hs, balls in your court. Bomb's: You wanna try and obviously not get hit by it for starters. But from and aggressive standpoint, try and toss in a poke(63214k, 2hs, 2d-jump) before it explodes(RF is great at this). This on occasion this scores some hits leading into great dmg. Another thing I like to do is if they are dumb and jump without knowing to FD 214s that HOE!!! The new shit I'm on though is crossing a bitch up on the moment of detonation. Use your fdc right and you can fake a cross up leading to them getting hit and you combo'n off of it. Dice pretty much summed it up for the Poison, hammer, coin's and tarai, so yeah yea watch vids of how RF uses his items and learn from the best. Good example:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_OLDBjh4gU
  14. Ahhemm... yeah what about those!!!
  15. The only thing I really hate is not knowing the match-up(thats on me), besides that all of the characters are fun to play. Some are more boring than others but all around you should just man/woman-up and play the match-up right.
  16. Grapple? Do you mean the claw chain? If he whore's it out to get you in, duck it (3) and time a far slash immediately after. Tatami Mats are very dangerous on counter hit so be careful when doing this but if he likes to just Instant air dash in and throw them out, use 5k or run up and 6p. You could also jump into them and instant block. then try to double jump outta pressure. Also if he seems to pressure you alot in the corner use FD to push him back. Besides Baiken's chain her range on the ground is pretty shitty so this gives you a chance to escape and begin your zoning. This match-up isn't that easy for Faust but it can be won, just gotta know what your doing and throw the right shit out. Here's a vid to show you how to duck that dumb chain: RF(fa) vs Maruken(Ba) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX1z38WsI5s
  17. RC'in faust's normal grab is useless since it deals very meager damage.. this really only should be used to kill, besides that situation just let the throw knock down and try to score damage off of a good Okizeme/mixup. Tension could be used in much more productive ways.
  18. I've had this happen to me about 3-4 times, the command was put in while my opponent was trying to grab me and metta kiri came out like i was planning, but the throw tech purple flash appeared.
  19. watermelon and grape soda LOLOLOLOL
  20. come back to orlando now!!! <3

  21. Senkei

    May vs Faust

going to the air is much better option versus Faust... he beats her on the ground much easier than her coming from the air due to her j.2Hs and other such things that rape.
  22. Yeah Slayer is a tuffy...Best way you burst on him is to be patient and not immediatly react to a hit from him. That is of course unless you are about to die. Anyways im back writing up another match-up and it's on.... ZAPPA!! Not many people play him at a high level in the US but it helps to know this match-up, you never know when you'll run into Kenji or Rudy's Zappa. And i have plenty of Zappa experience and a SHIT-TON of RF vs Eki-Chan matches to put up. Any other suggestions on who you guys want next after Zappa? Testament? Millia? May? HOS? Venom? Let a brotha know...
  23. DC vs N.O in the new a-cho vids was tight!! he didn't do the whole "make it rain" with the coins thing. He should try that more often cause dogura whipped that ass when he did that shit.
  24. Alll done!!! Enjoy my amateur and unknown advice!! Any Q's or comments.. holla back!!
  25. happy b-day ya old fuck.. i hope u gettin drunk
