LOL! I can offer whatever advice I want. You talking about back-dashing out of her D strings makes you look a little silly when you badger me about my horrible advice. Since it looks like that's the only part of my post you seemed to read I will reiterate. Saving the 50% Heat and grabbing Nu into a super may seem great but I'd much rather spend my time up close on her mixing it up into a nice 6c loop then risking a broken grab into her zoning me out again. (it's damn easy to break throws in this game btw) It amazes me how little I play this game yet the comments I see posted by regulars makes them sound like they just learned how to walk. I don't want to diss the whole 2b thing (since i haven't seen it on any vids at all) If there is any recording of this 2b strategy being of use can someone show me? Im sure it's relevance would be appreciated.

I'm talking about using it's invincibility to dodge D strings. @ Lunaris:They can delay the swords all they want, you still get the free jump out into pressure. Heat is useful yes in that very specific situation, but not against NU. Why would she even want to get close to you in order to get Counter Assualted? So that point you made is quite silly to the subject at hand. but... I havn't tried to use 2b at all but then again I never play this game that much anyway.

Yep and trust me it really works, I wanted to find some way to escape her pressure and attacks and I came up with that.

I just wanted to mention that I've found a great way to get out of Nu's pressure without bursting(since it gives her the advantage) and can take away sword pressure from the ground. Arakune's Dead Angle has a fast enough recovery to make a sword whiff giving you the time to escape and attack Nu. Yes it does cost 50% heat but it's heat that Arakune doesn't really use or need that much. It helps a good amount for me in the match-up and i suggest everyone tinkers around with it and find a way to use it for your advantage.

Didn't feel like reading all but 6A into 2B is a great highlow and they combo, leading into 2a, 5b, 5d.

Faust don't need that shit. He is perfect the way he is. He would only need changes if some other cast members have things he can't get around, besides that he can beat anyone in the cast, He doesn't really have very bad match-ups at all.

Every single FRC Faust has is great. Knowing them just makes you better and gives you more options. Granted they aren't vital to his game like Sol or I-no, but they offer you the chance to play better. Learn your character 100%. If you do not you are short changing yourself. Effenhog: I like the fact you play with Faust but learn Dizzy she is amazing!!! It just sounds like you use him for the unfamiliarity that people have with Dr. Baldhead. Which in america it is huge. Only areas that I think personally can play Faust right is: Kentucky, Midwest and FL. Besides that, when I sit down next to people(outside of those areas) before I play them they all say this "I have no idea how to play against Faust". It makes me laugh but cry at the same time.

This can be true to an extent but I doubt any of those players are dead weight. I don't think very many OCV's went on this year anyway(except for the foreign teams i guess) It's a theory in itself but how can Johnny, Bridget and Zappa be a team that is formed through the basis of match-up countering? You know bad match-ups aren't that serious in AC, you just need to know the match-up, not be a victim to the numbers behind it.

What I want to able to do is get 2 6C reps into a j 6A - j.c - j.5C - j.5D without issue 3 reps is great but really all I want is great damage into a good recurse. Im alright with 5200 dmg

Alright jesus christ I cannot do the 6c loops correct. I do it weird using c bugs to launch and it works but every character is almost specific on when to release it. Can someone tell me when to release the 2B bug then go to the 6A bug? Im trying but still struggle to get the timing to it.

lol it can't be character specific. I bet if you played stick your game would get better. Is is just a coincidence that every single person that is the best with said character plays on stick? You can do what you want of course but playing on stick does nothing but help your game and those are the facts!

I suggest to put the time and money into getting a stick though. It makes your execution much much better. Look at the top players just here in america, they all use stick, and in Japan it's the standard. Im a big advocate of using it since I used to play pad, and the transition over to stick improved my game ten fold.

I agree on seeding. It made me better through tournament play.. period. I had to get my bearings and get through the tough shit in order to place high. It felt good when I finally started beating those "top/good" players and progressed my skill. Hellmonkey: I did kinda run through pool(lol)A. It wasn't extremely easy though (gosh) thats kinda mean. But it wasn't the Pool of Death and Hell that B was for sure. I got payback from that though since I had to fight 1st and 2nd place back to back on sunday. Damn eddie is strong.
