Sasashima has uploaded their recent UNIEL Tournament. Kanji player "Oboro" is apparently participating as Vatista... Also, ImagineWeb has announced their retailer bonus for UNIEL. It's a nearly A1 sized poster of Orie! Sofmap has also listed that they will be having an exclusive Original Telephone Card" as a retailer bonus, but there are no pictures of it. Gamers has listed Original Microfiber Mini Towel as their retailer bonus. -

It doesn't exactly say that. It says that the prizes can only be delivered into addresses within Japan, but it doesn't say Western people can't participate... So if you don't need the prize and just want fame (?) and your picture posted on the official site, you can participate just fine. Also, it seems that LL Akihabara is having free plays tomorrow and it will be streamed at the usual place. -
Article says it's a Skill, "Mediarama" (メディラマ) The other name announced in the article is the name of the spinning Koromaru attack, Zetsu-Byakurou Battouga (絶・白狼抜刀牙) which translates into something like "Sever - White Wolf's Fang Unleashing"

Famitsu's web article says he's on the 2nd grade of middle school.

Their OHKO is combination move of Kala-Nemi's and Cerberus' skills and called "Baptism of Light and Darkness" (光と闇の洗礼) At least, that isn't written on this page of the article... This page says nothing about his plot. More importantly, yay for Theodore!

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

That's what his "Mortal Slide" move always looks like if the player doesn't cancel it into the follow-up move "Shade Harvest" which reels the opponent back. There is no dash recovery in UNIEL. Dash is cancelable into Shield, Throw and Specials (and obviously Chain Shift). Apparently you can pretty easily bait reversals with close range dash + instant cancel... Well, anyways this is all information from Vatista wiki - I hope it's up-to-date. ____ Rion's new Seth combo movie is on Nico. Someone also posted a Gordeau movie that used Destrade's notes as a source... -

http://dengekionline.com/elem/000/000/849/849516/ Miyuki from Mahouka and Taiga from Toradora are joining the cast as playable characters! Tatsuya and Ryuuji are their Support Characters. They will be joining the game "this summer". -
Here you go... - Sorry for causing nothing but troubles... - I'm like this, but... Marry me, Chidori! - Uh... A dream... - Wait! Where am I!? - Everything's great at yours--- - Who are you calling a minor character!? Uwah! Yuka-tan's pure horror! - I'm Junpei Iori. Let me take care of this. ---Name Call--- - Are those... Shadows? This actually is the Dark Hour, isn't it? - Just a moment, Feather Pink! I'm sure we can resolve this with talking! It's dangerous to point someone with that thing! - Well then, it's time to begin the "Junpei Iori Hour". - There. It's a game over for you. Too bad.

What do you refer to? There were some really minor face fixes during Ragna VS Jin battle, but I'm pretty sure the others were untouched. As I pointed out, in Tsubaki VS Jin fight they fixed those faces when a character stays still for a moment, but when the characters actually move and fight - it's the same as TV version. The blood on Makoto still appears and disappears all the time... Are you referring to the end of Episode 10 when Rachel is captured - if so, then yes. Imperator's mouth was fixed for better lip-sync.

I really don't have much to add since I didn't have time to watch all of the stream... Maybe on the next weekend I have enough time so I can rewatch the whole thing. If people want a summary, you can always check Yusano's summary picture. -
Thanks for mentioning. I grabbed the video and will upload it later to the usual place... with subs of course.

Yeah, I bought it like all the others, but it just arrived today... Here's a bunch of comparison screenshots: Episode 9: - Tsubaki is no longer transformed before her battle with Jin - Tsubaki is still angry, but doesn't look like a murderer anymore... Part 1 - Tsubaki is still angry, but doesn't look like a murderer anymore... Part 2 - Jin's Face Somewhat Fixed - Not only Tsubaki's clothes, but this time her weapon also turns black - After turning black, Tsubaki's eyes didn't change color... (Should I interpret that losing light turns her eyes red - not the Mind Eater spell...) - Ragna Face Fixes, Part ??? - God, the old Jubei looked like some freaking monster Part 1 - Rachel Face Fix - God, the old Jubei looked like some freaking monster Part 2 - Noel Face Fixes, Part ??? - Tsubaki's despair... - The original version is so wrong... Episode 10: - Invisible swords are now visible!! - Noel has now even more brainwashed eyes... - Cauldron scene (The animation where the cauldron closes was pretty much completely re-done and looked much smoothed... It's hard to explain with just pictures) - Jubei's face has been fixed, again... - Hazama faces, Part 1 - Hazama faces, Part 2 - BlazBlue has been powered-up - For some reason, Phantom's magic changed from white to red magic. - Hazama faces, Part 3 Also, nothing too important, but the OST commercial on the disc lists a song as "To Be Continude"

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)

Skyheartxia asked me to translate this entry of Fusemaster blog, so I'll post it here: Game has been operating for a year, and I'll now tell some details for both veterans and newcomers. Crossups don't exist in UNI. Usually, you call a move that hits the opponent's back while you jump over them, but hardcore fighting gamers know what a true crossup is. It's okay to call Waldstein's JC a crossup move since he jumps over the opponent while hitting their back. But, there's a lot people that think that you first need to have a full grasp of the game's system. When you jump over the opponent, hey turn to the other way. On that moment, the way you need to hold the stick to guard, also changes. You aim for this moment to break the opponent's guard. SFII didn't have overheads and this was the only way to break someone's guard. But in UNI's case, the direction you need to hold the stick doesn't change when you cross over the opponent. After you land, then the direction changes. That's why you can't "confuse the way to hold for block". If the opponent stands before you, by holding the stick to the opposite way, you can guard all the aerial moves. UNI players don't understand the difference between "mekuri" and "hyouri" and end up taking hits you could easily just block. If the opponent's moves come from before you, the direction you need to hold the stick doesn't change. Merkava's JC can simply be blocked. I mean, it even isn't a crossup. This game doesn't have "crossups", with the exception of few specials moves, the only way to break the guard is "hyouri". If the opponent is on the left, hold 6, if they are on the right hold 4. You can guard all the moves. Linne for example, can you do forward roll and hit the opponent from back, that's a "hyouri". Meaning, those characters that have moves that pass through the opponent, have a certain advantage in this game which doesn't have "crossups" Seth is a perfect example of a character who breaks guard with "hyouri". This character is called weak because of his health... which leads to certain expectations. He has pretty much high risk no matter what he does against a opponent who doesn't think too much. Seth needs to touch the opponent 3 times to take half of their health, but the opponent needs to touch him just once to take half of his health. Seth isn't that strong in defense, he could keep blocking all the day. He's a character for really advanced player who know all about his horrible "Risk & Return" values. It's rather difficult to have an easy win with Seth. He isn't exactly a character that only Umehara could play, but... If the players could read at least 10 steps ahead the opponent, the common opinion of that character could change. -

As expected of French Bread, all the menus are mainly in English so I don't even need to think about doing a Menu Translation. And apparently Training Mode will have something that displays the number of frames... but it doesn't give the details. It's a shame game doesn't seem to have Challenge Mode, because I always like playing it when trying to learn new characters... -

I'm not exactly sure myself since I don't watch too much Yuzuriha footage, but I think it should be possible. You just have to remember that you can't use the same button twice in a stance. You should be able to do 236A -> Hold down A -> Stance activates -> You can only use B and C move during that stance -> Use a B move -> Cancel it into a new stance where you can only use A and C moves. -

French Bread said ages ago that Bob is dead and not coming back... You don't need to hold down a button to stay in the the stance. Use a stance move -> hold down some button -> stance activates -> you're free to do what you want with with her limited stance move set. -
I added a bunch of translated move descriptions and combos from Japanese Wiki. Feel free to fix my broken English if you spot something...

I've finished translating most of this Wiki. I'll be adding more stuff to his Dustloop Wiki article soon...

No, you can tech them. If the opponent tries to throw you from crouch, your character will automatically be forced to stand - but you will still have 14 frames to tech the throw. Only time you can't tech a throw is when your Shield is active and when you've already input the command for throw escape (Throw Reject Miss)
