Yah, the speed limit on the 17 is 55. I thought I was going 75-80, but the officer said I was going 91. I wasn't looking at my speedometer so much as the road and surrounding vehicles. The citation indicates the device used to record my speed was "radar + other" . I suspect the officer clocked the guy I was trying to pass first, then while he was pulling out to intercept him he saw me and estimated my speed relative to the first guy.

So I don't look so scraggly in court next week! I got a citation for - Carlos will love this - misdemeanor speeding while going south on I-17 to work earlier this month. If they think you're going over 80, they can give you a criminal traffic citation.

Not even five years old! So tragic. D: Now to keep my neck out of the sun for the next few weeks.

I still plan on hosting from 6PM until 1:30AM this Saturday. I hope to have GG running on both of my TVs, and now that the giant television is no more I'll prolly drag my 360 downstairs so the general public can degrade it with BB/SSF4 as they see fit. Be warned: My 360 really, *REALLY* doesn't like to read DVDs until it's been on for like 15 minutes or so... ppl may want to play a few games of HDR or I MADE A GAME W ZOMBIES IN IT in lieu of opening/closing the DVD tray over and again for a quarter hour straight.

Spiteful - NO U LEAVE A DAY LATER :D ... but, if you *have* to go back to Flagstaff the very first day of a three day weekend, I guess you have to go back. I'd host this weekend, but I've stuff to do, including repairing a drawer that I put off repairing over winter break - and I really want it fixed before I contact the landlord about our apparent leak in the downstairs bathroom. Ryuuka was playing circles around me yesterday. So many air throws D: Fun hosting session, I'm glad so many of you guys were able to make it! Here's looking forward to holding another - probably sometime in January, I'm busy the 18th and I'm thinking the 25th and the 1st might not be the best dates for hosting.

I *think* Ryuuka, Sol B+Ky S and >_< will be bringing their PS2s. If so, we should be more than covered! I just hope we've enough controllers to go around!

Choco's OK with both his sets being used so I don't expect there's need for anything more than an extra console or two.

IIRC, you guys have access to reasonably portable 22" sets, and if there's a Melty Blood contigent this Saturday, they'll prolly need the use of choco's set. General - A folding chair or two would probably come in handy! We've had a few casualties since the last gathering D:

Just a reminder that I'll be hosting this Saturday at the Melty Haus between 6PM and 1AM. The cutoff time will be observed in deference to the roommates' new and exciting morning work schedules. That require them to get up while it is cold and dark. I'll be running GG on both of my television sets. People are free to bring their setups if they like, but the use of choco's displays may require the permission of choco. The giant television kinda belongs to the Haus, but it hasn't been very trustworthy lately and likes to randomly shut itself off. Also: Belated GGs to everyone @ Fry's. It was good seeing everyone again! It was so cold. Loved how the temperature of the sticks dropped to like 30 degrees. On that note, I squished the spring of the green stick pretty good today. It's got a lot more give now, but it's not exactly loose, either.
