  1. Well, this is a random idea thrown around, that I want to turn into an actual thing ! A palette poll ! The poll will be open from today to the end of the month, results are hidden(normally, if not, welp), I'll officially announce the results at the end of the month. You can comment on how troll this is, or suggest even more troll polls for the future here, but please keep it nice and clean ! That is pretty much it, link is here ! http://goo.gl/9RRske

  4. I'm actually searching for a partner, if you're in for it, I'd be glad to team up with ya !
  5. Don't have the game or played it but from the few Rachel vs Nine I've seen, yeah this MU is just incredibly troublesome for Rachel, not only on neutral, but also on defense (no one can escape the rock) and offense (Flux Nurture slow startup and being overall very hard to punish actually makes it very annoying when you're setting up with Rachel, not to mention her invincible dash making it very hard to keep your pressure going) As TD said, the only thing that seemed to really work was to try to get a lobelia near Nine to get a Lotus Bat, and then try to mount an offense and punish everything she wants do to with a Sword Iris. And Thankfully, once Rachel manages to get up close and personal, her pressure options being really tight won't let much room for Nine to wiggle. I guess I'd need to see more recent footage of this MU to see if Rachel players found counters to all that, but for now, it's a pretty terrible MU, that much I can agree with
  6. Sorry for the delay, reuploaded a new invite, try it out and check if it works, if it doesn't, we'll figure out another way !
  7. Oh also, I'm going to post combo videos, tutorials and of course, a link to his channel !
  8. Yup, we do, more footage of him has been conveniently timestamped in the R thread if you want to see more of him ! (named Dry-Ace there)
  9. DC's netplay session ! lots of good players here too ! 10. Next Batch of videos, mostly Dry-Ace (the guy who makes videos on youtube under the Juliusbelmont pseudo) ! You should watch a few matches, all the crazy tech you see in his videos are put to use, and it's quite scary !! Sasahima Leisureland [2016/01/05] [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Tights(Zato)(1) (2) [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Kenzo(Elphelt) [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Tetsu (Ky) [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Yoshimune(Jack O) [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Doshin(Potemkin)(2)(3) [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Slayer [2016/01/05]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Elphelt Sasashima Leisureland [2016/01/12] [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Slayer [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Yoshimune(Jack-O) (2) (3) (4) [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Kenzo(Elphelt)(1) (2) [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Venom [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Boushi(I-no)(1) (2)(3) (4) (4) [2016/01/12]Dry-Ace(Sin) vs Elphelt (2)
  11. Server is up, you can find an invite in a separate thread in this forum ! if it doesn't work, PM me and I'll send you an invite manually !
  12. Latest Sin gimmick, used by DC ! it involves R-T-L left/right mixups that are very expensive(100 meter) but can potentially allow you to deal insane damage ! Valas was kind enough to demonstrate this in a video, so instead of my usual boring explanations, you get to see it in action !! https://youtu.be/NXjunHCj6aE
  13. Also, OP has been updated with the latest matches !
  14. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all Sinners ! Speaking of Christmas and Sin, we have Kabegiwa rocking the usual Christmas color and wrecking people (feat Dogura) [2015/12/26] [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Tights(Zato) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Yosuke(Axl) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Maruhan(Sol) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Umecha(Jam) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Koichi(I-no) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Taka(Slayer)(1) (2) [2015/12/26]DC(Sin) vs Hase(Slayer) [2015/16/27] [2015/16/27]Makki(Elphelt) vs Dogura(Sin) [2015/16/27]STO(Venom) vs Dogura(Sin) [2015/16/27]DC(Sin) vs Makki(Elphelt) [2015/16/27]DC(Sin) vs STO(Venom) [2015/16/27]Super Sol(Sol) vs DC(Sin) [2015/16/27]Hiroki(Sin) vs DC(Sin) [2015/16/27]Hiroki(Sin) vs Endou(Chipp) [2015/16/27]Hiroki(Sin) vs U-zen(I-no) [2015/16/27]Kiisha(Faust) vs DC(Sin) [2015/16/27]Nage(Faust) vs DC(Sin)(1) (2)(3)(4) [2015/16/27] STO(Venom) vs DC(Sin) [2015/16/27]DC(Sin) vs Karinchu(Johnny)
  15. She got one significant buff : Now you can do different things from her airdash : pressing 4 will let you float in the air, pressing 2 will make you fastfall. just pressing 6 another time at any moment after the airdash lets you do the second airdash, which is now cancellable super early So basically, she has now an insane air mobility, coupled, with the fact that her airdash now is the best one for mixup if you properly knockdown/set your assist. I think it should be enough to make you happy^^
  16. Beak Driver is the most damaging combo and definitely the best, but it's not burst safe an easy and burst safe variation is throw RC >214S>236[H] into usal combo ender If you go for the loop you don't have a preferred ender, you can eat after the last Beak and run up to them to attempt a mixup, or you can do 214K[6]> j.6H at its latest to re-stand them > 2D > Eat and go from there. You could also use the j.6H restand to use a nasty reset from there ! Plenty of options there, just cycle through them, and always keep an eye on your calorie gauge to decide what is better !
  17. Well, inaugurating the Revelator thread with a new batch of videos ! I'll upload the OP with these matches later ! To make video posting a bit less dry, I'll do short intros about the Sin players featured here! This batch is mostly about Shirou, a Sin that rarely ever appears at Mikado, or on streams in general. He is still one of the best ranked Sin around here. His combos may be lacking in some aspects, but he is decent at hitconfirming. More importantly, He has one of the greatest offense : He doesn't hesitate to go in, his pressure is very varied and unpredictable, with that ounce of whack to completely throw off his opponent's defense ! The way he moves around is also top-notch ! If you have issues with those points, I'd recommend taking a look [2015/12/09] R Mikado Tournament and Freeplay [2015/12/09] Tenrai(I-no) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/09] Shirou(Sin) vs Jonio(Johnny) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) [2015/12/09] Shirou(Sin) vs Chappu(Chipp) [2015/12/09] Shirou(SIn) vs Nakyama(Johnny) (2) [2015/12/09] Shirou(Sin) vs Shimonkin(Leo) This set is mostly about Etarou and H.H. Etarou is a regular at Mikado, He is a very solid Sin all-around : while he may be a bit lacking on defense, and his neutral is not perfect, he still does very well. His offense, is relatively good, and he is very good at hitconfirming and dishing damage with the adequate combos ! H.H hasn't played Sin for a while and it kinda shows here ! While MU knowledge and confirms aren't top notch, especially in the first match, H.H is still a prominent player, and his adaptation skills are excellent ! [2015/12/01] R Mikado Freeplay [2015/12/01]Kakishi(Jack-o) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/01]Dora(Chipp) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/01]H.H(Sin) vs Jonio(Johnny) [2015/12/01]Etarou(Sin) vs Jonio(Johnny) [2015/12/01]H.H(Sin) vs Roi(Sol) This last batch is about Etarou, you should know how he plays by now, if not look up a lil' bit^^. The set also features Kyaromu, a beginner Sin at Mikado who recently made significant progresses. He is still not on point in some Match-ups, and his offense is still a bit lacking, but he makes very good decisions at time, and his neutral is improving very fast ! [2015/12/02] R Mikado Freeplay [2015/12/02]Maruhan(Chipp) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/02]Maruhan(Sol) vs Etarou(Sin)(2) (3)(4)(5) [2015/12/02]Maruhan(Sol) vs Kyaromu(Sin) [2015/12/02]Tarou(Potemkin) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/02]Umecha(Jam) vs Etarou(Sin) [2015/12/02]Chappu(Chipp) vs Kyaromu(Sin) (2) [2015/12/02] Etarou(Sin) vs Shimonkin(Axl) (2) (3) [2015/12/02] Kyaromu(Sin) vs Shimonkin(Axl)
  18. Kunzite is just MvP, very fast, multi-hit, very safe (which means you're probably dealing with pressure afterwards). Even if you're blocking the damn thing, you can't do anything about it if spaced properly. So yeah, it's a easy, universal and rewarding on short term spell, especially if you compare it to other setups which are hard to set and unreliable or escapable. JP players will mix it up in due time, but if you're putting your money in the machine, might as well do that until answers are found. I do hope there will be reliable answers to Kunzite though, otherwise Nine will be really linear^^
  19. To be fair, MSR is originally a great Persona (AKihiko) player who recently got into BB. He pretty much plays Naoto like he plays Akihiko, run in, take risks and cash the reward, except Naoto is certainly not as rewarding as Akihiko in this respect. Looks promising in many aspects tough. Just needs to brush up his defense a bit and he will definitely be a notable Naoto !
  20. we have people from all over the place,so it depends EU peeps tend to post/discuss stuff in what is morning/afternoon in US. I don't really check since I'm already in bed by that time but US peeps leave a few posts/discussions in the evening . Best bet is still to see who is online and leave a message^^
  21. if you mean doing a Discord chat, it's already done, quite a few of us are there already, there is a separate thread for this in the Sin forum. Normally the invites should work, so you can join at any time, if not be sure to leave a post there so that I can see what I can do !
  22. Waiting for an available Revelator pic, but It IS the Revelator Video thread ! - If you'd like to contribute, please feel free to do so! Just link the video along with the time that Sin appears in the video, and I'll update this post with that video. 23. well airdash loops are tricky, first make sure you're doing the IAD>j.K as soon as possible. You actually need to hit the j.K with the good timing, and buffer the IAD fast enough after hitting 5H. Once you're confident with your timing, you need to constantly be able to hit 5H at he max height at which you can hit it. There are several ways to do this, just pick them depending on what you're more comfortable with. -After 623S/ 214S/236[H] in the corner : 214P/K (j.S>j.P)>j.K : Simply, the more hit you put in this, the higher you'll knock them. It's mostly only j.K for light chars, j.S>j.K for mid and heavy weights and j.S>j.P>j.K for Pochumkin -Just before 5H, you can put either c.S or 2H(2). first one will knock them a bit higher, and second one will knock them a lot higher. - after the 5H near the corner, if you see they aren't high enough, you can opt for jump j.K>j.S>j.K instead of IAD j.K>j.S>j.K. the second 5H should hit them a lot higher for you to continue with a normal loop. you can control how high you knock them up by delaying or not delaying the first j.K. you can't do this past the second loop because of pushback though, so keep it to get a good start on your loop -If you get a 5H to knock them really high but have trouble keeping up the loop, you can replace IAD j.K>j.S>j.K but IAD j.S>j.K>c.S>5H or IAD> J.S>j.P>j.K : both of them should help you getting max height 5Hs consistently against heavier/tricky hitboxes chars There are other tricks for this, but just test those and see which one allows you to consistently get the max height 5H to get reliable loops. Getting used to weight classes can be tricky as NagorB said, just keep at it and find a way to do them comfortably on all weight classes
