I wouldn't say shockingly better but it is actually 10x hyper than the original. If Alexandrite gives me enough energy to run a mile or two, Alexandrite II will get me through a marathon. Also, you guys know damn well that Nu will be top-tier. (Future) Based-Nu god is going to wipe Tager off of the character select screen. Good luck beating him with Makoto since he's based-Squirrel god too. The only way I see Goro coming back to our girl is if he wins so hard with Nu, the game becomes boring to him again. Am I crossing my fingers for that? Maybe. I'm just hype to see him thrash people with the psycho-yandere robot chick.

Sometimes I wonder if Goro went back to Makoto because she was bad in EX and there were very few notable reps. Now that she isn't actually the worst (I have no idea who that is. It may very well be Makoto again according to you guys.) she became boring again to him. I find the complete opposite to be true in EX and CP but what do I know?

I thought the original was better at first but now that I've heard it a few more times, I was dead wrong. The remix is too hype. After hearing what Nu got in her release article, I just knew there was no way Goro was going to stick with our girl since Lambda was his original main. I'm definitely looking forward to watching his Nu play though since I started with Nu in CT (yeah, I was a bad person). That and I want to see if another Makoto can destroy his Nu in tourney (doubt it since he kinda knows the matchup a little too well, being the best Makoto player and all).

I'm all over that Makoto the Bloodedge color (just like I'm all over "Ragna Nanaya", gonna enjoy facerolling buttons in EX to keep him fresh). Oh yeah, there's some disheartening news.

You guys are some real hype-killers, you know that? It's barely been a week and we're already on that sudoku watch talk. :/ There's nothing that indicates that she's completely free to another character or anything that indicates that she can't compete in this game. I wasn't expecting anything close to top-tier status but I do like what I see so far.

I hope we aren't complaining for the sake of complaining. I like seeing more people playing my favorite character. More people means a higher chance for a godlike rep to appear and a higher chance of awesome tech to be discovered. Besides, Makoto's normals are still below average. You have legs girl, kick someone!

I'm pretty sure they shoehorned Makoto into someone's arcade mode. She has her place in the storyline but nothing that involves having to fight her. Only Relius comes close since he has to get rid of her for Hazama to do his thing. In other news, that Alexandrite remix kicks ass but it's not as good as the original one IMO. Same thing with X-matic.

I can't say I didn't see that coming. He was based Lambda god before he was based Squirrel god and Goro did go back to Lambda briefly in EX. Now Lambda's got a shiny new paint job with new features and I fear he's going to cross over for good this time. D: ...oh well. Makoto is better this time around. There will be new people to pick her up now. I just thank him for making EX better than what it actually was for a Makoto main. Hopefully Ryota or someone else godlike picks up the slack in CP.

I disagree about that last part. A lot of her moves are straight up faster in OD because it requires no charge. Granted it does kind of make her "easier" to use in OD but that extra speed does make a difference IMO.

The only thing that makes this overdone argument about fanservice in BB better is the fact that I saw the full-version of Axis's new avatar no more that 24 hours ago and lol'd hard. In any case, when's Blazblue?
