Azrael sounding like Wesker? That could work. There are certainly some similarities between Azrael and Wesker. Having both of them share the same voice actor sounds somewhat cool.

The random hate Ragna gets is why I can't really hate the guy. He gets the worst shit for no reason. Whenever I have a crappy day, I think, "well, at least I'm not Ragna."

Her tail does obscure the opponent on the last punch. In combination with the RC animation, you could definitely obscure your next mixup. Now that I look at her frame data, her dash at max-speed is tied with Bang for the highest so I assume you're right: acceleration is probably what got upgraded in exchange for her initial dash speed.

IIRC, her dash was indeed affected but her max speed was increased. Not that it makes up for the loss in initial momentum.

I like to believe the first fixed fight in many of the arcade modes are throwaways for a little bit of humor or storybuilding for another character. I mean, how else were we going to know Bullet hates folk music?

So what I'm seeing here is, the arcade mode guys couldn't find another character that had only minor interaction with Makoto for her first fight... so they send in Tao to grope her?

I kinda got that lol. I'm still at a loss on how the dan system works. He went from 15 to 14 back to 15 and now 17. I know you have to play people that are better than you in order to level up but how many of them do you have to play to level up? Can you play against X 14th dan players at 15th dan to level up to 16 or does it have to be all 15 and up players? I'm assuming it's the former since people can just keep climbing. Eventually it's going to be FT50 death matches between top 4 in order to level up to 19th and 20th dan.

The general idea is that her jacket is the same color as the most dominant color on her top and skirt. At first I was hype to use the Ragna alt but most players already use it so it lost some of its luster to me. In the end, OG orange is probably the best although I want to see her Order Sol coat.
