  1. It'll probably get as used as much as j2D did, aka almost never. I just hope the new j2D has good uses for mixups and stuff. I'm trying to the full change list translated, but it's been diffcult. But here's some stuff I'm 100% sure of: 5AAA: Less recovery, now does V Slash > Kunai > Garudyne instead of skipping Kunai 5B: More disadvantageous on block jAB: Changed how the cancel into it works aka, it doesn't work aka Glide is dead. Dash: Less recovery on dash. He goes from running to neutral faster Tentarafoo: Removed FC Recovery, It FCs instead (It doesn't even need to be a CH), More float on hit, Dash Cancel in Sukukaja Kunai: Wider Kunai Spread (?), Float when hit, Dash cancelable in Suku, Able to combo from at screen's edge SB Moonsault: Quicker start up, slower movement speed (eaiser to hit opponent), Easier to follow up with additional moonsaults It looks like they're trying to let Yosuke use ALL his air actions in combos instead of just a few (the 2.0 video showed off SB Dash Spring > Moonsault x3 > V Slash > j2C). Without Glide, his mixups are gonna be weaker, his blockstrings won't be as effective BUT I'm hoping with Fastfall (I'm reading something about better invul on Mirage Slash, not 100% sure), he'll be able to maybe do stuff like 5AA > jump over > (jB > ) > j2D > Throw / low. But j2D looks like it still has some recovery.
  2. I've been waiting for this. Translated stuff: j2C is still the same j2D is what j2CD was (the fastfall) and j2CD is what j2D was.
  3. Like BB, we got changelog videos for 2.0. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQjGykCskMY#t=183 (Note: These are probably not ALL the changes, just some) Changelog video for Yosuke: -Kunai / j2C after 3 moonsaults -Better Tentarafoo ranges -Tent hits FC (3.4k meterles) -j2C from SB V Slash -Dash cancelable Tentarafoo in Suku??? Tent being a FC (This means, no matter what, Tent will ALWAYS hit Fatal) is nice because it means we no longer have to waste meter to combo from it when we hit it (which is rare). Edit: Started translating his official changes from the PDF. Glide is gone, sorry guys.
  4. No because that's still part of his autocombo (5AAA > V Slash). And no one mentioned it so he still has it. Mokke is just saying that "Yes, we still get a knockdown off things"
  5. Yosuke Hanamura - Official 2.0 Translations Thanks Ohno and Xie for the translations! Official changelog video from ASW (Japanese player Mokke also believes his combo rate was changed to 60% from 70%) [Any post before Jan 8th, 2015 are from the loketests and no longer valid]
  6. Anyone happen to have Kagura in color 9? or can do it for me please? Also Junpei in color 10? (I will love you all forever.)
  7. You can buffer it when Yosuke reaches the peak of the downward slash.
  8. It means "Hey, this is you"
  9. It's how 5C works in the corner. It's moved forward to compensate being in the corner for whatever unexplained reason. Since 2C has ALOT of knockback in this version..Jiraiya's placement when in the corner is much further forward. Take note of Jiraiya's placement: Corner 5A > 5B (1) > 5C > 2C Midscreen 5A > 5B (1) > 5C > 2C
  10. Learn to glide effectively. Play neutral with things like jB (Really important), jA, jD, 5A, 2A. Learn the blockstrings like 5AA > 2A > 5AA > Glide cross up. jB/Falling jB is really good to use in the air because it has a fairly large hitbox. jA is quickish, mostly used when crossing people up. jD is used as a distraction or something to use just to keep your opponent occupied while you move across the screen. Use it with caution because frequent uses will result in a Persona Break. 5A is a quick ground normal with a really good hitbox and leads into all his damaging combos. 2A is okay to use in situations but isn't THAT good of a starter, can be used for things like tick throws. Your goal with Yosuke is to play really good neutral and to land a hit, go into a knockdown and run your knockdown game using things like Glide mixup, throws and throw baits, lows, jB Fuzzies, etc
  11. I thought it was in the General Notations section, guess not! Added!
  12. If you're doing it in training mode, turn off Health Regen.
  13. Margaret's Mediarahan just seems to be a healing super. It heals her and her opponent for a set amount (Margaret being healed for more). Nothing to do with 'time warps' or last damage dealt. I went into VS mode with 2 controllers, went into awakening, did a DP and then Mediarahan. Yosuke got healed for about half of the DP's damage, did a few more autocombos and did Mediarahan, he got healed for the same amount (Half of the DP). I did the same thing, got into awakening and hit 5A backed off and did Mediarahan, Yosuke got fully healed. (Also did the test while only getting hit by 5As, no combos)
  14. The new jA.
  15. Like in P4U, Yosuke still has the ability to Glide or Fastfall in the air thanks to a kara cancel (cancelling the start up on 1 move into another) with jAB into Air Turn (A+C) during an airdash. Gliding will allow Yosuke to keep his air dash momentum and fall at steeper angle. It also helps to glide backwards (Jump > A+C to turn backwards > Airdash > Glide) to help get jD out safely or just to escape back to neutral. Gliding helps Yosuke play neutral because it can be used to move around the screen faster than any character (He's faster even without it). It allows him to block while air dashing with no delay, come in at angles that are hard for certain characters to 2B (Chie, Akihiko, Mitsuru, etc), and to navigate projectiles or Naoto's traps. So the notation would be: Jump > 66jAB~A+C Thanks to the overall changes to Yosuke in P4U2, Gliding becomes an even bigger part of Yosuke's gameplan because he has a knockdown after V Slash > j2C. With the correct spacing after a knockdown, Yosuke can preform a glide into jA or jB for an overhead cross up which can also count as a safe jump to bait wake up reversals (He can block directly after preforming the glide). V Slash > j2C > Glide with no spacing will allow him to either go for a low or grab. This has been dubbed "The Glide Mixup" 5AA is jump cancelable on block which allows Yosuke to preform a block string ending in 5AA > jump > Glide for a possible mixup or to help him continue pressure (2B works too!). Remember; Learning to glide is one thing, but learning how to use glide is another. More to come soon!
  16. I don't know what you're talking about Omni, my list was 100% correct.
  17. Bad to Good: Light Blue > Dark Blue > Dark Green > Light Green > Yellow > Orange > Red White means "new".
  18. 2C > 236AB > 6D > j2C > OMB > TK 236D > j2C >Suku > 5AAAAA > j2C > 236B > SB SukuSuper, 6.5k. Works non CH too.
  19. I play Yosuke, so I never feel that.
  20. It's eaiser than the P4U one. jAB > A+C. That's all it is. And in other news....they fixed jD/5D.
