I think I saw a burst punish by Amane in one of the earlier vids. Maybe I can find it~ EDIT: I coudln't find it in the video thread. Anyway, I think he used one of his ground C anti-airs, air burst, and did the same move again lol (Thought he was facing a Jin at the train station, but maybe I'm wrong)

Amane's D moves would be slower than most of Makoto's close attaks, yes? And Mu is a given weakpoint, for no matter which character (usually). Azrael is really going to be a close matchup; depending on the player it could go both ways (more in Az's favor). The matchup I don't have a good idea about is Bang. What should we do? On a side note, you people (Toasty,Derq,Solar,Star) are making me feel unworthy with your Amane avatars. I'm trying to do something artsy to feel a part of this Amane cult. *is failing at drawing Amane on MS Paint *

It's weird, now that I'm watching the newer Amane videos, it feels weird that people AREN'T dropping combos. I expect it everytime and am stunned when the pull it off. I hope he wrecks Kune' and Nu, so very much. And all we have to do against Makoto is block. She won't hurt us if we block. Blocking wins games

How about Lag Seeing, Tegami Bachi? He has a scarf, and a nice royal blue coat with slight gold accents. Oh and before I forget, would using back-Zettou cause negative penalty?

His Hariken starts with a drill stance (236D) before he summons a drill (using A,B,C). It's only one stance, but you can cancel it into certain moves. Also, you can cancel the stance regularly by hitting D.

After watching that, I'm curious. Does j.2B connect after air throw in corner? And I hope we can find all the Amane palletes, unless there's a link to them that I haven't found.

I noticed in the Amane vs Makoto vid, 6D moved closer to Amane on hit. Is it just me seeing things? Also, can we get more corner combos starting with foward throw or ones involving Gekiran? I'm not sure of the combo-ability of Gekiran in the corner, but the throw looks promising.

Anyone else see the double Astral on Nico? Who was that Tsubaki player? I'm sad that he dropped out after 3 good games.

Where are you seeing this Toasty? Also, do we know about Amane's counter Assault?

What's up with the j.D? Why did the gauge deplete? Nevermind how curious I am that in Overdrive it overheated; I thought it stayed level 3 continuously. I thought that was the sole reason of using his overdrive, for everything to be level 3, not for it to block you from using it.

My wish was granted while I was away. Just watching the footage now. Just some question and things I noticed. 6C/5C beating Volante is odd. I like that we can punish an air burst. Does backdash/back fabhop have invincibility? Did he drop the combo by not using 2C? Wait, the hand grab special isn't only from long range? Can you control it to stay near or does it target the opponent? Can you foward Zettou cancel into j.2D? That's all I'm asking for now. I'll see the other 2 parts of the footage later. Okay, so if Growler Field absobs D moves, the Tager's Sledge hurts them too? And C moves won't be Sledged/Growler'd right?

Yeah, I saw the stream this morning, no footage of Amane (no Carl either ). Thanks Sheets, I'm really excited for some combos. In another case, I hate Arakune's spider just by looking at it. No backwards rolls and lazy zoning here. I'm really looking foward to see AmanevsHazama matches. And Taokaka matches, because IMO, she'll probably be the most annoying character to deal with.
