rising j.D gets you pretty close, other than that, other methods can get you there, but might not be efficient enough to justify their needs. Especially since you need to keep that momentum. He's more suited to go straight for 3. -Charging with Hariken at neutral. Currently quite slow to build drill and only worth it if the opponent is playing passively. Will be greatly enhanced on the upcoming patch. -Using meter/ressources to gain drill level. 5D rapid 5D can get you close to two... maybe. Overdrive will definitely put you around 2 or above.

I think it fits here since it's about Amane's gameplay :P Once he gets the drill going, the (execution) requirement for the damage given is indeed stupid/easy. But besides from that, in BBCP 1.0, he's widely considered to be amongst the worst characters of the game. A big part of shutting down his drill game comes to knowing the setups and once you do, what he currently has to make up for it is arguably lackluster. But, it can be one extreme followed by the other if you let him the chance to properly run his drill gameplan of course. Frustrating, yes but broken, I don't think so. 3C > 236C > 236D~A/B/C shouldn't be a threat, the drills will not even connect where the opponent will find themselves after 236C. How is that a threat?

Untech time is really limited if you want knockdown from Gosei, you'll just take extra time to do a different route. Plus, doing j.C CH > j.6C > j.2C is already more damaging than trying to do j.C CH land > j.B > j.B. I also think that's all you'll get too because I'm really skeptical about j.B > j.2C connecting on this route. May be wrong

You shouldn't have time from j.C starter to do anything on the ground worth spending meter for. By that I mean I don't think 5B > 5C > 6C will work. You do if your starter is j.B, j.2B or any N starter leading to j.C air hit, but not from a starter with S value. Maybe you could do j.C CH > j.2B whiff > ground 5B > ... and have enough time, but unsure on this. I'm guessing if you hit j.C from too high/far, you won't have time to land and dash to get in 5B's range though. What are you trying to obtain from it? Out of curiosity
