  1. How is that even possible without you setting it up? O.o
  2. If just sleeping there means I get to spend an extra evening out of town, I don't care much, it'll still be better than sleeping in the bus for 12 hours :D
  3. The most sugoi of all BONJOUR
  4. There's this sugar shack I went to a few times about 20 minutes from Gore and really close to it, there's this "Fumerie" where they sell the best fucking beef jerkys I ever ate. #SendTamashiiToDaSugarShack2013
  5. Who said we'd only be going once? OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo
  6. I didn't actually get to talk and spread the word around yesterday, buuuut How about we plan a weekend to Gore? How about we go to the sugar shack on that weekend as well? How about "Insert X activity that can be done at Gore"? Anytime past next week should be fine on my part EDIT: I like the way I think Nolan phrased it (not sure if it's you) : Montreal training camp for UMAD
  7. More like it made me chuckle more than anything tbh. But still, if the hotel is noisy... it shouldn't be a problem to have a few people playing games late night? RIIIIIIIGHT? (Apparently the rooms are fairly small though)
  8. Reading reviews out of curiosity: -People say the price/quality ratio feels pretty spot on. 144 lowest rate for the night of saturday (which is manageable, I'll call them and ask directly the price if I reserve ahead of time) -A few complaints left and right about how people like to party and you can hear stuff from the other rooms and bla blabla -Which leads me to my final point: There's a Karaoke!!!!!!!!!!! If you are on the first floors, you can hear the karaoke bar all night. #SendTSBToKaraoke #Onegai #MaybeSenpaiWillNoticeMe On and on, a lot more recommendations over negative reviews. I'll still think about it over the next week though, but it's a possibility.
  9. Sorry for double posting, but as this affects my planning of next weekend, I figured it needed a bump Since it's easter, I get a day off either friday or monday, choice is mine. Now this wouldn't be very yolo of me to stay one day and leave before the whole event is over when I have a day off :/, so I'm considering taking an extra day. Now the situation is... where do I sleep and how much does it costs me? Am I better off arriving a day before or after? The schedule for the bus rides will change depending on these little details so I want to know what you guys recommend me. Is there a nearby hotel? Is it affordable? Could we do some *intimate* post-tourney casuals in there if you guys are willing to bring setups (Because I won't carry monitor + console on a bus obviously)? Let me know ASAP, I'd appreciate
  10. Oh yes, I need my fill since I havn't played since Ottawa. Hype hype hype
  11. Same for me, just remember to bring my shtick tomorrow plz Kaeru
  12. Oh god, shit just got real now! What have you done Dustloop is down Twitter is down facebook is down EVEN google is down But worst of all... See you Thursday
  13. Yolo swag bus5lyf (dat moar then 4!!!1) #HashTag I'm taking the necessary steps to come next week. Just getting info on how I can get my tickets and general info as well on the bus ride as well. I'll keep you updated when I have all the needed precise info on this trip.
  14. That'd be pretty sweet of you or anyone else for the matter, but before we get to that point, I'll keep ya updated whether or not I'll be coming this month. Probably by next week.
  15. I catched up on all the vids I cleaned up a lot of my pre-console release notes that can be found online for everyone to share/enjoy or simply curious It's crazy how good players have become with the character as of lately. Really entertaining to watch some of the matches. Watched that FT10 today and Hina showcased so many stuff and even matchup specifics. Really all around solid play in all aspects. As for now... When's CP? Mind Games Lol
  16. Even if it's a GG tournament, no more than one console will be used for it if we follow our usual format
  17. Why take the bus, I'd arrive at like 8 am lol I don't have a hurry to go anywhere lol
  18. Pretty close actually An hour long walk according to google
  19. Getting the bus seems fairly straightforward, the only thing I need to get sorted out (which I'm too lazy to do just about now) are the following: -How far is NL arcade from the Greyhound arrival location? Can I make it by myself or do I need someone's help (at least for my first time, be gentle with me *>_<*) The only thing I know is I can ride a bus straight to Brooklyn. -Do I leave on the same evening? I think I arrive something like 8 AM on saturday if I take the night bus. As for leaving, I have either a bus early - Something like 8 AM as well - on sunday morning (which implies finding a place to sleep) or leaving around 7:30 on the same day. Decisions decisions
  20. Hmmm looking at bus tickets out of curiosity, a round trip to brooklyn is about 140$, a ride is about 9h, I'd do it by night and sleep on the way in/out, this is really some impulsive planning and probably fits within the boundaries of what one would define as "YOLO" So I tell myself... why not? I don't know if it'll be this one or next month's TSB, but I want to see places :D
  21. I should be motivated to go provided I get the car before 7PM (which might not happen)
  22. Ty for hosting, though I wished I'd ask a few names around to go with the faces. I can only refer the people I played as "That guy". By that I mean the person running the bracket said, you have to play "that guy" :/ . I was the late arrival for the record.
  23. I would really want to help with that, but I barely use any of these technologies. I might have some HTML5 knowledge on certain stuff and Javascript as well, but... I don't feel super ressourceful in that matter. Also, I'll probably be at foonzo tomorrow for dodging sunday (and because I want my stick back if feasible)
  24. What a crazy weekend. Last time I ever worked as a mascot and Ottawa. "I wanna leave at like 9 I'm working tomorrow", leaves at 11:30 arrives home at 1:30 Burger was awesome at Summerhays I didn't arrive JUST to play Marvel so that was cool I don't remember anyone's name because I never asked -_- It's a relief to have a community that's closer to MTL than 6 hours minimum of car driving. Campaign roads with no lighting at night what-so-ever Also, it was heartbreaking at work. Last thing I did was go to the daycare and say hi to the kids. 10-12 3 years old kids are super excited to see me and they all line up for hugs. Inside my suit, I know this is the last time I do this and I've been doing/enjoying the job for 5 years. It was a high emotion moment that had never been reached in those 5 years only to be followed with the words "That's it, bye bye guys" ;_;
