  6. sorry, disappointed. but a counter 22D can still give a 4K meterless and midscreen? For example this BnB; C 22D > 6CC > 214B > 2CC > IAD jCC > 5C > 2CC > CBB. What do you think about this? Edit: BTW C 22D stands for counter 22D, no need to charge 22D, not unblockable anymore. Counter 22D wallbounce and easy to pick up.
  7. What 22D is fatal counter? I will punish so hard random DPs, if I am close enough with 1 charge, so that my opponent (certaintly a ragna player) will think five times before doing another one. Inferno divider, .............. OMG I just ate 4K meterless damage !!!!!!!! What an answer!!!!!!
  8. I bought BBCS EX, only for trying Relius and then I stayed with him and I can't drop him, too funny to play. I will never play Izayoi and Mu-12 at the same time so If I choose Izayoi, I won't need another zoning character. Now I think, Amane can do the work too since he can fight Arakune without needing to go in. Sorry Mu-12!

For me, I already have 2 mains which are Tsubaki and Relius (low-tiers lover) and one sub mu-12 (vs the character I hate the most Arakune) And I will main Amane and sub Izayoi or Kokonoe (she will be on console version) or Hakumen since I like the character and he is a good footsies character (Azrael is becoming top tier and so popular so I can't play him anymore) Before the game came out in arcades, I was planning to play Azrael and maybe Amane. But Amane convinced me. He is more funny and his playstyle is amazing. Izayoi because Tsubaki is my baby and I have to protect the yayoi dignity and clan, lol. Anyway we will see.
  10. I can't believe the Tsubaki player died with 5 charges; I will never block for that long If I have 5 charges and Jin isn't a strong rushdown character. Even with 2 charges, he could do 623D or C actually and cancel it into 236D then 214D. that was sad.
  11. I only want to know something, is his 2C can be cancelled in his 5C even on block? on hit it does actually, this very important against Nu-13. Because the matchup vs Nu-13 will depend on the speed of his C compared to the speed of her Drive attacks. So hit confirm from low to high is necessary since 5C doesn't hit crouching opponents. Can anyone answer this? Thx.
  12. I understood some things from the last footage. Correct me if I am wrong. Thx. - j2B is very good for cross ups or for falling down quickly, since Amane jump is even slower than mu-12 jump. - Nashi was abusing drill attacks for charging drill gauge quickly or maintaining it at high level - 6B has some weird properties. Once in the video, I believe the 2nd game, Hakumen blocked it with a drive counter but he couldn't catch Amane. Amane moved in the air, I was wooooh. I believe you can use it for quick jump even if it doesn't hit or get blocked. So a free quick jump back with fast recovery given that Amane can block in the air after this. - Zettou or Fabhop is the key for getting in o getting out. The guy was abusing it, doing like: j2B > Zettou > hit confirm > Zettou >...... or jB > Zettou back (for getting out)> j5C or Zettou forward (pressure) jD (j2D?). - It is pretty hard to punish 236C (if it is punishable) since it pushes the opponent away creating some space. -5A is a very good anti-air. He was blowing some Hakumen jump attacks or they were trading. Which is pretty good since we all know that Hakumen has some of the best jump attacks of the game.   14. What is his stance cancelling? Does he have many stances? Can someone explain to me how that works? I am planning to main this character. Hopefully it isn't something difficult.
  15. All the time I spent learning this character, now I am better with him. I am glad he get buffed. I really love Relius new moves.
  16. I simply love Amane playstyle, but we have to find something vs rushdown characters such Azrael or Makoto. Because I remember the hard time I get when I started playing Relius. Now I know how to deal with some rushdown. For example, with Relius; any hit I can do after a rushdown, I instantly call Ignis by doing 214A (Val Lanto). This give me some space but especially the advantage on block (+16) for my rushdown. We need some frama data before people start playing Amane efficiently.

(meter less, charge less and mid screen) Check here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=941ZvI4krx0&feature=related from 6. 48 What we can see from some videos - 6A starter is pretty good now. - jCC recovery is pretty fast compared to EX - 214B generally change the side after 2C (except from the corner) - CT is our new 3CC for more damage ( which is pretty good, only 25% heat gauge) - (4)6C or D are pretty good for spacing, getting in and charging install. I think it could be a good tool for resetting the pressure but not too close to your opponent because you can get DP since it pushes Tsubaki a bit back. One example 5A > 5BB > 5CC > D cancel > 4B (it is a 5B holding back) > (4)6C > get in or back dash. This can work but not sure though - 214D is a combo extender. - Cancel 22B into the charge give Tsubaki the first charge fairly fast.

  20. In this video, you can see a good hit confirm from his 6A. Amane player was good but Azrael player was better. His 2B sweeps actually unlike most BB characters. 5B is so good, it can be used like late anti-air. I think he will have huge trouble vs some characters since he doesn't have a wake-up reversal.

  22. Thx for the videos. On those videos, specially the 1st we can note that: - Amane can block after his 6B (while in the air) - 6B can lead to acceptable damage (2k in the video) - The drill summoned instantly disappear when Amane get hit. - The recovery after jD (or j2D?) is pretty fast. because of the huge blockstun. - Amane can cancel the drill summon before it comes out (like Litchi 41236D) - the chip damage from the drill (5D in the video) is unsane like 1k ( we already knew that but it is crazy) I saw a video (on jourdal) where jB> 5B> 5D did at least 2,7k. I think it could be the best way to hit confirm. But it seems like you lose the drill gauge gained (not sure about it though).

  24. I like Amane playstyle too. And I think he is one of the character, you can have fun with for a long time. Hopefully we can get the game in Europe before Summer. Why are we always the last region for some games release?

I chose this thread, because I am a new fan of Amane playstyle and Azrael a bit. BTW forgive any mistake I can do, english isn't my first language, neither my second one and I am from Europe.
