Is it just me or this combo doesn't work? I do it sometimes when I really want to bring them to the corner, but the second hit of 2CC will never catch your opponent if you start from 5BB. But you can dash 5C > 2C > CAB, pretty easy to do though. The best way to optimize your combo midscreen is 5BB > 5CC > 623C > 214B(w) > jC > djC > j236D > j214B(w) > land 6C > CAB (to remain in the same side, different side from where you started though) CBB (to change side and get back to the side you were when you started your combo). As Kiba said most of time you don't need this, Because Tsubaki runs quite quickly, so you have enough time to get close to your opponent after a ground ender. When your opponent is airbone, you can decide where you want him to be at the end. In conclusion, the best use of a charge is in the corner but if you desperately need damage as we sometimes do, use this midscreen combo. -

I was reading Tsubaki dustloop wiki and suddenly I read among weaknesses "difficult to win with". That blew my mind, lololol. It is a bit true and it is also true that we have a good number of Tsubaki players, but is that necessary? Maybe we should put something like "a lot of bad matchups" or precise that someone needs to understand her very well to win vs some characters. I just think it is not fair for people who would like to pick her. -

Glad to hear that!! I really want to understand this character before playing him, he will be my big challenge in BBCP. The only character I want to play except my mains and Amane is Jubei. Hopefully, he will be a DLC or free.

I am salty now, lol It will take some time to learn that j2A > ADjA > jB etc. I mean I took like 1 month to learn ADjCC correct timing of Tsubaki, I firstly thought it was just impossible to do it.

TBH I never use Shippu except from pushining a zoner or someone doing unsafe stuffs pretty far from me. I prefer Yukikaze when I can read my opponent's attacks? Can you give me an advice about ADjA > jB > 2C midscreen combo?

Me too, I started learning Hakumen 2 weeks ago. As I said before here he was one of my favorite characters. Unfortunately I could not play him efficiently w/o a stick. I can say that I am very impressed with my performance, his combos aren't that difficult (I think they make them easier in CP) except one. I really enjoy him and I love his footsies game since I am originately a SF player. I am pretty good at predicting attacks with D moves since I am an old Gouken, Kasumi (KOF) and Geese (CvS2) player But there is one combo I can't get most of the time, is the dash jA > jB after jB > j2A. My main issue is that I am used to the IAD jCC Tsubaki combo (faster and more hitsun), can someone help me? a video? Edit: another thing in the corner, after ... Renka > Kishuu > 6C > 6A > 2C > sj2A > falling j2C > 2C > j2A > dash j2A > jC > 5C > 3C Is this the most damaging meterless combo I can get from a bad starter (2B or 2A)?

Yeah, I think you can block Amane on crouching without worrying about any overhead. I think his only overhead could be jA; maybe I am wrong though.

@Daedron; amazing work you did there, even if I am a bit salty my combos are some of the simplest combos of the video, lol. Next time in BBCP I will give some of the most flashy combos. I particularly loved the combo with like 20 22X, so good!!!!!! -

30f of recovery? a bit too much there! I was pretty sure 214B was around 14-16f, still better than 214B/D version of EX. Even 214D get better, now it seems faster and safe on block, but they took off our body and head invincibility! Plz can someona tell us what is the startup, active frames and recovery of 236D? -
