Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
Volt replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Well, Izanami downgraded herself as a threat so she could point at "True Noel" and blame her. Well, at least that seemed to be the plan, but Relius showed up... What's up with that anyway, Relius feels like the classy parallel to Azrael at this point, the only time he was defeated was in CP when only his plans got spoiled and he kinda got a meltdown (Or pretended to have one) and Carl and Litchi bailed him out. Wait, wasn't Rachel the personified Drive of Raquel? why would Izanami be related to Amaterasu that way? Also, I don't think any of the recent pictures are related to Act I. Mu's look consistent to her Act II ending where she saw Noel and she blamed everything on her. (Again.) Izayoi is definitely getting like Hakumen at this point. Her secret killing art just never works does it? That just reinforces my theory that Izanami's just holding back and letting people figure that they can't kill her or that even if they do, "True Noel" just resets the whole thing. By the way, does someone know a good summary of XBlaze: Code Embryo? I can't find a proper wakthrough on Youtube (No one gets the True Ending.) And I'm curious about what exactly happens there since it's canon and apparently important to the plot. -

I'm 99.9% sure she'll wind up betraying Izanami. It's been hinted that she's got a few pages from Terumi and Relius' book. I'm just curious about whether she'll succeed or not. -

Nah, he's becoming the protagonist, where he is led by everyone to do stupid things and get beat up by everyone. So regarding the tale of the girl, I think we're looking at it the wrong way. Sure, reading it just basically screams Calamity Trigger. but there's something beyond that. We know that we have a girl (True Noel) trapped inside the master unit. We also know that the story says that the Girl was trapped inside the monster and it kept rewriting the story from inside of it. Nu never had the power to actually do any kind of phenomena intervention, so she's ruled out. So if the time loops of CT were made by Amaterasu, the Girl could be this True Noel. However, two parts of this story bother me. "The Girl wrote a story in book, relying on her own memories" Playable Noel was supposed to be blown to smithereens in the first loop, so what kind of memory could she have? Then again, Slight Hope had Makoto mention Noel and no one remembering it, except for Hazama, and he did not react well to that. So that Noel could be inside the Master Unit at that point. Still doesn't explain the memories though. "A hero appeared and defeated the monster" If we were talking about the Black Beast or CT Nu, that would've made perfect sense. However, the Master Unit is still very much alive and kicking Phenomena Interventions left and right. Continuum Shift was pretty much Takamagahara spreading out a bunch of possibilities and then observing them to see which one could lead to them getting the Azure, so the Master Unit did pretty much nothing in there. Considering that, we definitely lack a key part of information to fully understand that story. So all we have right now are educated guesses. Figures that when Rachel decided to give out an apparently good plot exposition she wound up messing up and confusing everyone. The story mode of this game will be like, a week long to explain all this stuff. -

There was someone who posted Kagura, Azrael and Ragna's Act II arcade modes in a Dailymotion account last page but they aren't translated. Sourenga or Zedar might be working on them though. (Thanks in advance if you are) Great quality videos by the way. A really nice find. -

Ok... This is getting even more confusing. Izanami is either using the original or a copy of Saya (Ragna's Sister) That was established way back at the end of CS and there's no evidence of the contrary since Naoto himself confirms that Izanami isn't Saya Terumi. However, Izanami's vessel did interfere in the fight by weakening Izanami, however she does not express any prior knowledge or anything resembling memories regarding Naoto in particular, but Izanami seemed to remember something when Naoto asked why she had the same face and name of her sister. That does seem to reinforce the theory of Izanami using Saya Terumi as a vessel before using Saya. (Or SAYAAAA as Ragna calls during his OD. lol) Furthermore, it's established that Naoto and Ragna share something, so Saya could've picked it up and tried to delay Izanami or something to see if he can save her brother. But this is kind of a long shot. Looks like we'll have to wait until Act III to find out just what is going on about this particular plot point, especially since we got other mysteries like Es appearing and Raquel actually speaking to Naoto, which raises a few questions about Rachel. Man, what a mess. -

Come to think of it, this whole murderous fetch quest could be a plan to throw the "good guys" against each other while Izanami does her thing. Think about it, Nine sends basically everyone to kill Izanami. Everyone agrees for their own motives and because Izanami messed with them directly or indirectly and she sounds evil enough even if she didn't. However, she did throw a few wrenches on the way of a joint attack simply because most times the worlds will not overlap and some characters got the specific orders to gather all the Nox Nyctores before taking on Izanami. On the other hand, Izanami sending everyone to kill Amaterasu!Noel is another thing entirely. While she did a good job in terms of motivation, she's talking about killing freaking Noel and a lot of characters simply won't agree to that. Ragna, Makoto and Kagura immediately jump to mind. While others like Jin are more than happy to get rid of her. Basically, we can't expect things like Kagura managing to put Ragna, Jin, Noel and Tsubaki on the same room in CP without copious amounts of bloodshed and violence. At least for Act III. Also, Ragna didn't just walked to Izanami and stabbed her. She jumped on his sword mid-fight just to prove a point. (And well, she did. Blood-Scythe can stab things, I thought it wasn't possible.) I just want to know how much Ragna remembers at this point. -

That awkward moment when we're discussing how thick the plot armor of the vessel of the goddess of death and protagonist's sister is to know whether she died or not;. -

Not exactly, Terumi may or may not merge with Hazama and still live. He only needed an Observer so that he could stop observing himself. Sure, it would need to be someone powerful since we know Hakumen isn't as powerful as he should because Kokonoe couldn't observe both him and Arakune fully at the same time. Now, someone who is powerful enough to observe the entire world and do resets and time loops and shit could probably do it. Figures that the Mad Dog would turn into a guard dog. Somehow after all these years, I kinda sympathize with Jin. This is weird, make it stop. Ragna yet again defies all logic and just stabs Izanami to death. I really, really doubt it will stick, even by Blazblue standards. Also, lol at Platinum and Carl's endings. "See, this is the world you have wished for. Congratulations you won... Wait, sorry got a text. Higher Entitled said 'LOL Denied!' Yeah, my bad, go back to your terrible lives." Naoto's Act II story really did have a huge surprise for me. XBlaze is an important thing. I haven't even looked at it yet. Ffffffff. So let me see if I got these cloning shenanigans. Saya Terumi (Who? ) Might be Izanami's former body. Lambda, Nu and Noel (Mu) are at least based on Saya. Saya herself is a clone of the True Noel. This plot is like a roller coaster, I gotta puke. So could this True Noel be the Original Unit? I'm seriously confused right now. Also, thanks Zedar and Sourenga for the translations. Everyone who posted those arcade ending pictures too. -

Makes total sense. Saya's still inside of her body. CP has Izanami trying to exploit this to get Ragna on her side. (Even though it doesn't really work) And Izanami mentions that Saya is still pretty pissed at Terumi and Relius says that the fusion is not exactly complete. It's a foreshadowing, just like when back at CS Ragna had an arcade win quote against Hazama asking where the Imperator was. Looks like Saya can be saved at the end of CF. Maybe Azrael will rip Izanami out of her with his bare hands just to see if she can fight better without Saya? -

Well probably see more differences in the joint like things when we get alternate colors. It could be something related to her clothes and Saya definitely looked normal in all flashbacks so far. Or she lost a bunch of limbs like her older brother. Speaking of Izanami, did any Bururaji episodes leak some random information regarding her plot involvement? -
Who was the madman that though giving Elphelt ANOTHER disjoint was a good idea!? Btw, great tool, this is a great help for the community.

This is kinda getting off control... Just reminding that when Rachel was talking about the "Girl with the book" and everyone knew it really was about the CT time loops, she was treating Amaterasu as a Girl, therefore she could be the Act III Boss. -
Speaking of song names, does anyone know the BBCF themes names? Also, Izanami's theme is one of the hypest things to ever happen in this series.
-
Maybe that's related to Aria's emotions. She can't fall in love with anyone but Sol would make a whole lot of sense if that was true.

Act II - Nightmare Memory. Am I the only one who thinks it will explain what happened in the Time Skip between CPEX and Act I? Think about it, those pictures of Tager surrounded by dead bodies and more importantly, Carl finding Incomplete Nirvana picture show that at least some flashbacks will be present. Just as important is the official announcement, which mentioned the characters noting something off around them, probably by Nine helping them remember what happened and telling them to beat Izanami. Mori saying that Naoto's Act II story is the most shocking one also makes perfect sense, since we don't know what the hell happened after BE 2 and how Naoto found out what is a Murakumo unit. Also, in the link to that interview, Act II shows an event between Trinity (With Jin) and Platinum. Which means we'll at least find out what happened with Trinity. -
Nice find.

Just finished watching everything. Elphelt was lulzy until the end showing her already inside of Justice. That Man plans to replace Elphelt with Jack-O. No wonder he's so misunderstood. Millia is going to get some beef with Venom when he finds out what she wants to do. And Slayer's ending... No words. Can't wait for Story Mode.

I really hope so, we barely have good options outside of that. Aside from no-limiter Azrael. Izanami's stage being that close to Amaterasu could be a clue. Either way, I'm expecting her to release after Act II so her Arcade Ending is a trailer like Nine's. Edit: Just noticed Noel wearing Mu's headgear in that pic while wearing her normal clothes. Looks like they didn't really split, but it could be foreshadowing. -

Just Kanjis? Not even one furigana? Dang, that's trolling. I'd laugh if it was something like "I'm playable now, these scrubs are going to get rekt." Oh well, we can wait 12 days right? -

BE part 3 is going to be crazy, because Mori can't pull all of these things Naoto shouldn't know in one story mode. Turns out someone got an upgrade after Blazen! Seriously, Tager's Arcade mode is not going to be pretty to look at. Either something went really, really bad before Nine threw everyone in the embryo or Tager is hallucinating Hibiki-Style. -

Well he whacked Hazama pretty badly in CS, so maybe he thinks it's enough? Or it could be the "Don't hate him" factor and Ragna's just trolling Terumi like Kokonoe in her CP Arcade mode or something. It's not like Izanami's a way bigger threat that's using his sister's body, so it could also be priority issues. -

Well. Act II drops in Two Weeks. It's like Skullgirls all over again lol. Now that we got an updated arcade opening to utterly dissect, Carl really wasn't lying about having to finish a half-repaired Nirvana with Ada as a power source/core thingy. Suddenly Nightmare Memory makes a whole lot of sense. Poor kid's gonna break when he finds out he's calling his sister a mere weapon while she could still remember everything. Hazama laughing maniacally in front of Amaterasu could mean two things. Either he did manage to fuse back with Terumi and is laughing because Amaterasu is in shanking reach, or he backstabbed Terumi and decided to do his own thing. Considering his Act I ending had Nine actually offering help so he can fulfill his wish, It's really ambiguous. Hakumen beating Terumi and not even bothering to try to kill him this time is kinda funny. Unlike Akuma, he did learn that his ultimate killing move kinda fails at the killing part. Now Mu and Noel existing at the same time is wonky. Even for this series standards. I think the Mu with the Crying Noel scene could be Noel remembering what's going on and Mu remembering her that she already did that stuff and that she should stick to her character development. I mean, come on they actually fought each other in CP's story mode. It could be one of those split-personality hallucinations for plot. But I can't really be sure especially without checking their win quotes against each other. Speaking of quotes, maybe we'll have an update in some intros and match voices. Because seriously, Ragna and Hazama having a vs. theme and not even one specific line to each other mid-fight is just lulzy. And finally, drive emblem with bones in a ritualistic circle? Yep, Izanami's confirmed or Jubei got a weird makeover.
