sounds like it can pretty much pay for itself with a 10 dollar venue fee Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I would like to stop by with a persona set up if that's cool. I can help with the room fee Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

that's just her air dash in stance Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

Gives it invincibility so it can't be destroyed right when you activate. It's the only safe way to use it in neutral. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

It seems minazuki has a weird hitbox. CH 2C maragi loop and jC throw bait wont work on him. He will tech out of the D maragi. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

2b/3b anti air into 236d no longer works as a confirm I'd like to see what other confirms people are doing instead Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

2aa > 2c > 6b> 214b > 2c > 214b > 5c You can do the 2nd 214b and sakuya will cross under and you can do the behind the back shenanigans when they tech Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I'll bring a uniel set up! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk

I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet: jC in many cases just flat out beats Yosuke's BD. It'll activate and not hit yukiko out of anything lol

Perhaps excessive and unnecessary, since people probably have read the other thread, but just in case I figured I'd clarify here as well. The UCI event in question is here: http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?15914-FG-UCI-Ranbat-P4A-Side-Tournament-3-10-13-Irvine-CA Persona 4 as of right now is not an official game at UCI. The main reasons we made a DL post are: 1) Official game status depends on popularity. We needed numbers so we could beat out other games for the last official game slot. 2) By stroke of luck, the date of our event got pushed back a day and doesn't conflict with Saturday's Rebel Up, so we figured, might as well try to get people to help out our cause. So, in no way shape or form are we trying to take any members away from the Rebel Up events. In fact, I've been to Rebel Up a couple times and I have to say that it's by far the best regular event for anime fighters I've been to. If I didn't have a night shift on Saturdays I'd probably go to super every 2 weeks instead of UCI lol. Anyway, sorry for the confusion guys. We have zero intention of conflicting with Rebel Up--we just want help getting P4 in as an official game at our own place. Thanks!

And that's 100% fine, lol. We don't want to take over rebel up, the thought hadn't even crossed my mind until it was brought up D:. I just want P4U at my school -
[Season Finished!] [FG@UCI Ranbat] P4A Ranbat - Irvine, CA

Hi Watson, This event has no affiliation with the Saturday sessions that run at super on Saturdays. We're trying to gather people to make P4 an official game at UCI, but aside from that, the people who run the Saturday events at super don't even know about this event. We're not trying to take over anything. Sorry for the confusion! -
I'd like to make it out tomorrow! I'll bring a PS3 setup and Asus monitor!

Oh, there are character specific options too. Instead of the follow ups listed above after your blockstring, against Akihiko and Mitsuru I often times throw out 2A, since it low profiles a lot of their options. Against Elizabeth, I use C maragi instead and explode it right away, so if they roll or DP, they move right into it for a huge punish. But its like Choysauce said before, gotta kinda have a feel of what your opponent is thinking, sometimes your best option is just to do nothing and block.

One BnB I've been using for a while is 5AA > 2C > 5B > 5C > 236B. It's a true combo on hit, and on block the 2C to 5B is a frame trap. If they block it all, instead of going to 236B, I do 4D, 1D, 236A, or 236C/D instead to continue pressure. This seems to be a string that many JP players go with. I figured everyone knew about it already so I didn't post it lol.

This is great too, because if they don't tech, the C maragi invalid combos for very low hit stun, which makes for a great air throw set up. Stunedge does this to Jiyuna in the Jiyuna vs Stunedge videos, I forget which part, I think its part 2 somewhere. Bored at work so I'll start noting stuff I noted, I'll be going in an editing and updating this as I think of more: 1) This is subtle, but after landing a Dia Stunedge does a small dash input right before the 6D in order to shift the screen slightly to the right. This allows the 6D some extra room to push aki further away, and as you can see, he no longer is in range to punish with a 5A. So smart... Edit: The Aki adapts later on in the match and starts punishing it with 66 5A. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtI4_l1B80E&t=2m31s

Late reply but, in case you haven't found an answer yet, the trick is to keep them high off the ground. In the corner, you can't get the first part of the maragi to hit so you have to settle with just the 2nd hit of the maragi. If your SB agi in the corner, doing 2C instead 5C for the first part of the loop will send them flying higher and then the 2nd maragi, just release B earlier than you would if you were out of corner, this allows the maragi to explode in time for the 2nd part of it to hit them. When I get home I'll make another bad quality video of this on my phone lol

Quick fun Firebreak OMB usage. It's really simple but very effective. 5AA > 236A ]A[ without holding the A at all is a true blockstring, so if you use it with firebreak, the A is unavoidable by everything but dead angle. Doing OMB on the release into the standard double loop nets you 5011 damage with D super finisher. A very easy way to finish someone off if you find its the final round and they don't have burst, you just have to catch them blocking 5AA. Also, I like gli's 2D FC combo, but I personally add a 5AA before that, so just in case it doesn't FC 5AA is easier to continue pressure over 5BB. Like so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ld9YSG970UM (It's less damage, but I like the options afterwards on the chance it doesn't FC)

Didn't see these posted so I figure I'd just list a couple I've seen Stunedge use. 1) Off the corner confirm go into A agi > C agidyne. Hold down the A agi, and charge up firebreak as they are falling to the ground. Release A agi on their wake up as a meaty and do an unblockable D maragi. This set up as far as I know is only beatable by DP. 2) In awakening, off a B agidyne > D maragidyne confirm. Charge up firebreak as they are being pulled to you, and do SB agi right on top of them. This gives you a meaty unblockable agi and you can confirm this into a single maragi loop. This one afaik is completely unavoidable. I'll try to provide links later, but you can find them in the most recent match play videos in the video thread
