  1. Well, DFC was an order from Sega I guess, a bit like how Atlus ordered P4U then P4U2? And they still managed to release 3 games in a like 4 months time frame (well 1 on consoles and 2 on arcades, tho Blazblue is made by team blue and +R by team red). There was footage of PS3 UNIEL like 1 months after DFC announcement at TGS, it was like in november IIRC, so honestly vaporware idk even tho I'm not holding my breath. One thing's for sure tho, DFC prevented them to do their stream when they wanted to (since it was scheduled for january and now it's supposed to be within next week).

  3. I've always found chars with good mixups having a command grab pretty dumb, and I use it nonetheless since it's a tool we're given. (People get maaaaaaaaad over 2A > 5D > 236C )
  4. It's 22:40 in Japan, they're probably not doing anything. Also keep in mind they wanted to make a stream like they usually do (on ustream) probably, not randomly announcing it like that. I play an Amane often, never managed to land the combo <_< Might be netplay tho (I don't think it's my execution since I can land it with everyone else and dropping it always specificaly on him seems odd to be called execution), and Amane is Amane so I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest.

Also GO1's winrate lol, I know this guy is crazy but 91% win rate (tho I guess it doesn't mean much with 1k5 games?   8. I'm betting it'll be on Nico live or something since it's an official tournament, I don't think they'll host a big official tournament then an announcement to not stream it. Maybe on ustream since they streamed on that in the past. If it's on Nico worst things worst it'll be on youtube a bit later thanks to the nice people that reuploads and the announcement will probably be all over twitter.

  10. Ah, it was more out of curiosity, but alright that's totally okay with me. (On a side note, 5C/2C/22C is sweep/AoA cancelable, is it a general modification or something? I don't know if others characters used to have that already and who got that, but it seems pretty useless honestly (or like 5C sweep/AoA OMC reset pressure in normal? I can't think of much use since 5C pushes forward so it's technically safer than sweep.) By the way can you add the changelog / frame data links in the original post? Since it's better there than in the middle of the thread where noone will be able to find it in about a month or so let alone at the release of the game in JP.

(By the way, Anne, would you mind telling more about the new desactivation mid combo routes that Aigis got in P4U2 since you said there were better ones than [o] 5AA > 5B > jc > j.AAA > j.C(2) > 236D > land 2B > jc > j.AAAB2B ?) (Because for info, if the game is region-free (more likely if it's released in Fall so basically 3+ months), I'm planning to release an early combo list (not CMV just basic to advanced combos) for people picking up the game, so I'd like to talk a bit about combos like a week/month before release since right now paths are likely to evolve etc...)

  17. It's becasue the proration on air moves got nerfed, not buffed.
  18. With jB (which then probably became an S starter), I don't think it's that usefull if you can do the old route (since it gives back some wolf meter). The problem with this lies in the 1s cooldown (which seems to be affected by hitstop too), either way, it sounds like more meter will be used for way less damage. For instance, even 5B > 5C > tkj214B > IAD > 5D > j.AA > 5D > 5B > jBABBC would hardly give any meter back. For jA, I guess it's better than nothing yeah, tho the damage and meter use is ridiculous. So for now what is best to do is unclear and the 1 second cooldown makes it even worse.

  20. Nah, best thing you could get by omitting the w5B would be that your 5B hit but you'll still be unable to do anything behind it so it comes down to the same. Imo they just killed all the fun in the char (I don't really care about the char being mid but he just seems so booooooring now)
  21. I'm hoping they become some kind of special starter, because they didn't write clearly "wjA switched from S starter to VS starter" so there's still hope. (Some moves has special frame datas that doesn't fit in attack levels for instance, so it's likely it'll go that way too.) (In that regard, I'm happy they removed corner black hole because with the new Sturm Wolf we probably wouldn't have been able to get out of the setups anymore)
  22. Yep, no other trick really, try to input j.A as late as possible when you're training instead of the other way around, and you'll get the timing pretty quickly.

I tried a little change color-wise in the wiki, like Dreize does for the combo thread, however I don't know anything about color matching so maybe it's better with others colors or to not do it at all, I don't know. So yeah asking here for feedback, once we agree on something I can do them all without problem. (By the way I started recording the recommended combos from Dreize, I dunno when I'll have my desktop aviable to process it tho, so ETA is : Soon. for now)

Hey, I noticed Ragna isn't in the list of DP-safe oki w5Cs in the Strategy Guide while it is in Magaki's post, considering Magaki's was edited after the strategy guid last edit on that post, I guess this is a little oversight, but figured I should still say I found it (unless it's not and then my bad).
