GGXXAC+ Rebalancing, Features, and Overall Wishlist Thread
Hecatom replied to Blade's topic in Guilty Gear General
its not about being gdlk, its about knowing how to do it, i have never heard of any hos player having that kind of trouble that you are saying, so imo, this is more a problem of you not knowing how to buffer properly :/ aparently -

...facepalm bro the sprites and sounds are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more compressed on the dreamcast era than the rescent ports of GGXX hell the only thing compressed is the sound, and its barely noticeable than other games, ofthe same generation -

i sincerely hope that some of the people who posted their wishes here have their hopes in the right place, otherwise they would have a big dissapointment many of that stuff seems ureasonable and very, very unlikely to happen -

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Hecatom replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
well, at least this means more videos -
... bro, GG is not "balanced", its balanced, you are confusing strong chars with strong tools, with broken im not denying that there are some bullshit here and there, but there isnt anything really broken on it and while i understand your point about how some balance changes can add some fresh air to the game, i also believe that some balance changes could also hurt the actual player base of the game, wich at this point of the life time of GGAC is what mostly would keep the game alive either way, im fine with both scenaries

even if you dont like it, the companies are free to decide what they consider the full product and what are the extras, if you really dislike that practice, dont buy the damn dlc and no, i also dislike the practice, but at the same time im aware of why they do it the way that they do since im also work on software developing

is not that many want re balances, but that if they decide to do some, there is always room to improve some little tweaks here and there, but nothing really drastict tbh, the only rebalance that i think that they would do is to justice and kliff since they are planning to add them in the arcade and if in any case the ex chars if they also add them by any chance

are... you... NUTS!!!, lol its alredy enough that little eddie counts as physical attack and fills the guard gauge, and you want him to become more stupid? if anything the only thing that eddie needs is that his Drill FB needs to use eddie gauge too, remove little eddie from the play and or have some sort of cooldown, its dumb enough that he can do it so freely when in past iterations he needed to setup to use it, and very dumb that some characters have useless FB and he has that amazing tool without any kind of sacrifice or risk attached to it

now i have to main teddy just for his "glasses"

i like how on srk there are people who are arguing if we should let justice kliff and the EX (if they are ported to the arcade as well) be tournament legal seriously

Under Night In-Birth, PS3 release confirmed (Jul 24, 2014)
Hecatom replied to Hecatom's topic in Under Night In Birth
FB said at some poit that they wanted a game with more ground work than mb im gonna asume that its why the cast so far has tools with a wide range to deal with air aproaches and why they put the metter dependancy for the air dashes its not like i think that the range its crazy, but compared to other games, the range of the normals and specials seems to be very very large -

i have a question, does this game has a reverse beat mechanic like mb? and i have to say that i like what i have been seeing so far, the whole cast, so far, looks interesting and has stuff that i would like to try or stuff that reminds me other chars that i used to main or play with, also the range on this game seems huge compared to other games, lol, kinda makes me wonder why they decided to give them so huge range and limit the air movement by making the air dashes take 10% of the super bar btw i like how orie has a zettai ryouiki grade a, but you cant see it with her long skirt -
i think that you can get accostumed to the input delay and not feel it by some time after playing games with it i can see the arcade version of the game being released by june, but im also sure that we are not going to see the console release until fall, after all, they would try to get some income for the arcades before releasing the game on consoles porting a the game to a new console/machine can be very taxing if the architecture of said console its different enough that they need to re-script part of the code, so no, porting a game is not easy, and actually can take long, specially if you want a game free of bugs and a perfect port, specially now that they are porting the game to 3 different architectures now im also sure that they made the announcement when they were in the final stages of the development, so at least as i said, we can expect the arcade reease by summer, and probably before SBO also we dont know if they are implementing new stuff, or if they are make changes to the chars, at least we asume that they are gonna make some changes to justice and kliff, and maybe (streching this to much) as some people wish on the ex chars as well, if they really decide to make them avaible for arcades
-
from what i have been told by people playing the games on the arcade machines, its 4 frames for all the games, tekken 6, ssf4, bbcs, etc bbcs for example, has the same input delay on the arcade, xbox 360 and ps3, the same goes for kof xiii (i can at least confirm for both games since i have played them on arcades, and on both consoles), tekken 6 and scv are the same as well as i have been told (scv for consoles of course, since there is not an arcade version) it seems that the only games with slight differences (one frame so far) are sf4 and mvc3 (the last one im not sure) due to some sort of "bad" programming by capcom
-
from what i understand the 4 frames input delay its something that its inevitable, im not sure if it has to do with all the games that run at 720p, but this thing its also present on the arcade versions of all games of this current generation, at least its what i heard

the fact that they sell colors means that we wouldnt see a color edit mode, even as a dlc mode, lol
