[Xrd - Rev] PC English Voices (Xrd - Sign Cast)
NeoStrayCat replied to NeoStrayCat's topic in Guilty Gear General
Yeah, I'm in talks with one of them, so hopefully I can attest to some of those issues. And yeah, I suppose its best to wait until Rev 2 comes out, with Baiken/Answer being added and all. -
Well, I know there's not much in the way of posts of DOA5-LR a while back, but since this is dustloop and all (and honestly, no one's bothering to put it in the respective forums for GG/BB), I suppose this marks some attention to GG/BB fans! A GG/BB costume collaboration pack! Seems it'll be out sometime in March (and yes, probably as part of the newer Season/Costume passes on current gen, and yes, that shit is stupid expensive. No word on prices and stuff, but expect the packs like some collab costumes to be in the $20-30 range). Either way, regardless, since costume modding on the PC version of DOA5-LR exists, I suggest looking at some examples from this user HERE as some reference to see if the mod costumes will look better more or less than the official ones coming soon.

I'd much as rather make this a separate topic than putting it on the main Xrd topic so it doesn't get lost. Anyways, since the PC/Steam port of Revelator has been out for quite a while, and since no one has taken a mention lately here on Dustloop about it yet. Now you can use the Xrd - Sign's English voice cast onto the game. Credit goes to the work/users of the mod and their dedication to get things working. Full details HERE on how to do it. The author of the guide also plans to do English VA's to the Rev cast by fan casting (battle voices only at the moment). Although, there's a couple things that need work onto. -Ramlethal's Intro/Outro line changes from Sign to Revelator, obviously. -Certain lines of vocals not in English the right way (think Millia/Zato/Venom against each other, or El's Sign intro's not working as intended.) -Otherwise, most of all English Vocals from the Sign cast work as intended, that's also including the system voices. And yes, this works also in all modes including online. (Funny though, they have a line for "Digital Figures" since this was before Revelator came out, so...a "Sign" of something perhaps.) -Either way, I'm not sure this belongs in the Guilty Room or Zepp, but I'd rather go with the former instead. So yeah, those whaling on the Xrd dub now can rejoice, though its better than nothing if just the Sign cast.

Well, if anyone cares, there's a new fighter, by an IP from Square (no, not Dissidia), and the game features support cards as assists. Currently 5 playable characters are confirmed while the game's in progress. Article <- Gameplay:

It's 2017. What's your favorite version of GG?
NeoStrayCat replied to Xtra_Zero's topic in Guilty Gear General
Well, liking the Xrd series the most because of how really good it is. To me, I'll place the X2 series second, while 1 and X for a tie in 3rd. The side games are their own thing, of course. -
Alright, alright, so not to handle straight confusion... Rev 2 is a DLC update for all systems so far. (PS3/PS4/Steam) and physical only for PS4 (for Asia/JP regions so far, nothing yet about US/EU), and yes, reports based on JP game news sites, like Famitsu, for example, has mentioned about 2000Y, so around $20 US, if we're converting it more/less. The DLC for Rev 2 will not unlock Haehyun/Dizzy, for the DLC pack. More than likely, the physical release will probably include everyone so far, and all additional content, but nothing's yet confirmed, its an estimated guess. Although, I don't think the physical copy will also cost $20 US, it probably be a little more, but I guess we'll also wait and see on that. I mean, yeah, the PS4 version for Rev 1 on Amazon is $20 new, but dunno if its going to last (unless its a permanent price drop), since the PS3 version has yet to drop anywhere below its MSRP, barring used copies and auction sites since people will obviously price them lower. Other than that, If my hunch is correct, since Revelator's DLC on the PS3/PS4 is cross-buy, I hope to assume you'll get it on both systems, while the steam version is its own separate thing. But I guess we'll wait and see. Also, from what I know, its not going to split the community/player base/etc. More than likely, it might have a version select, similar to BBCS or GGAC+R, or patch it to play online with users of Rev 1 and 2. But we'll know more of this info soon enough.

Yeah, it seems most BB players that went though CT-CP already knows what going on in the story and usually skip it.
-
Dimensional Prison and Noise Canceller, is what you're missing, I know I already mentioned it before, but be reminded not to skip the recap in Chapter 1 when Kagura appears and gives you the option, pick the choice you haven't selected before, after that, you can skip through it, and the entries should appear.

Arcana Heart 4 - Confirmed in the Works
NeoStrayCat replied to HGhaleon's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Well shit, another Arcana Heart incoming, who else might join the roster of 24 from Six Stars, lol. Though I wished Daemon Bride had a sequel too, lol. Or even a console port for that matter. And I doubt there would be anything for another collaboration. -
Why were the BlazBlue PSN avatars removed?
NeoStrayCat replied to LeDelmo's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
What CPE avatars?, if you mean any in the US, there isn't except CF ones now. I assume you mean from the JP (or Asia region specific) PSN store that had them, right? -
Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
NeoStrayCat replied to ivanchu77's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Indeed, what's Examu taking so long on this, lol. Especially Daemon Bride, since that never had a home release anywhere. -
Blazblue Centralfiction Azure Edition: RICE Digital only?
NeoStrayCat replied to Hakkai_Requiem's topic in Zepp Museum
Unless you want to try your luck over auction shops or elsewhere, Kosmos has pointed out that the EU LE for BB:CF is a Rice Digital exclusive, sorry. -
So how exactly do we get all these free BBCF items?
NeoStrayCat replied to LeDelmo's topic in BlazBlue Gameplay
At the moment, those are JP only DLC items, the magazine color DLC's are no longer available since the offer dates have been passed (unless there's another solution). Although, there was the Dengeki colors spotted in the US PS store, but it might come back (since it got pulled abruptly), along with Famitsu and hopefully retain their free DLC status. The free Collaboration DLC's still at the moment are in the JP PS store and are available until January (Except the Hori specific DLC which requires buying either the pad or stick separately with a product code inside). No word if any of these will make it overseas though. Though the JP store specific DLC such as the character plushies have made it overseas. So yes, in short, none of the DLC have yet to appear overseas, unless by lucky chance we'll get them. (Or maybe not.) Note: As usual with DLC, please be assured that DLC is region locked/restricted, and can only be played on the same region and PS account the game's DLC can be accessed to. (Example, US BBCF Disk/Digital with US BBCF DLC.) -
blazblue BlazBlue: Central Fiction [RIP PROGRESS]
NeoStrayCat replied to SirRouzel's topic in Zepp Museum
Rouzel, you're back, we missed you! Well, interesting look on the Unl. Ragna CF image, lol. -
^Yeah, but regardless, to me, it still counts otherwise.

Well, I can agree on Arcus's devotion, but well, so will I, I mean, I got Xrd - Revelator just fine even if it was sub only, and I'll do the same for Central Fiction, and will also get the LE (well, at a rather steep discount tnx to PowerUpRewards coupon certificates, lol.), I mean, I got all of the BB's so far, including extend versions and multiple ports, most already completed 1K/Plat/Etc, lol. But yeah, its at least something to devote to, and that one day, we'll get to hear the English VA's for now, until then, its all a dream for it. Also, Vulcan, the LE with Hori Pad isn't free, its a bundle that costs together, lol. ($90 PS4 LE + maybe $40? or at least $30 with bundle discount code.), Also, if you can afford both physical and also digital pre-order with the English demo, then damn, lol. Also, I'm not going to be an ass and all about this, but to me, this is the first Console BB to not get English VA's period and probably the 4th BB title to not have a dub cause I'm counting the Mobile games of both BlayzBloo's and Reburning Revolution (BB: Battle Cards don't have any voices period, since its a card game, after all, though since been delisted). Since they've already had English releases, and I can't find any info on both 3/DS BB's other than vids that just have JP voices only. BB:RR on the other hand is also JP voices only since I've played it daily non-stop, so yeah, what can you do. Lastly, to think BB:CF isn't going to flop... https://twitter.com/aksysgames/status/783798309307592704/ Seems like the LE's are selling out over the Aksys Store, on the PS3 version, at least, plenty of PS4 stock with the Hori pad left. Nothing mentions if other retailers are the same, but its mostly referring to the Aksys Store. So yeah, it seems its selling well, at the moment.
-
Yes, really! I caught this on the [CF] News/Gameplay topic.
-
Unless its necessary to wait for translations, the Asia release of BB:CF has English text. (I'm facepalming why do we need to wait a month now if there's already English subs available. But oh well.) Anyways, the suspenseful revelations that are happening, well, didn't expect them, but well, there's something of a good ending and some being plotholes others are asking.

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
NeoStrayCat replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Alright, just wondering... -
Well, sad to say, since Alchemist closed down a while back, both the demo, the digital release, and its add-ons (Gamerpics and possibly themes), has since been delisted, though the game has had a physical release, the only shame is that its region locked. The 2hu references were waived off (better or worse, removed/edited/changed) for the X360 version of G.F. The 2hu cosplayers on stage had their outfits changed, ditto with Jessica (and the "Tsurupettan" song is changed to something else). Though its kept in the PC versions of vanilla and Cross. Dunno if it still be kept in the English localization. For example...

Central Fiction Arcade Plot Discussion (spoilers)
NeoStrayCat replied to Chaoschao222's topic in Zepp Museum
Exactly, since it seems to be GG related than BB, but hey, I'll take w/e good news, and hope that its worth it and not disappointing. Also, speaking of which before CF's console release soon, will there be a separate thread later on for the Story mode? Considering this is the Arcade Plot discussion after all, and there's going to be one included for Es, so... -
^Well, here is Aksys again to shed light on the situation currently. Also, now they're upfront on this too. Even though, yes, we know they're outsourcing the localization's since CSE. (And they could have said this a long while back, but...) And lastly...

Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroines Infinite Duel
NeoStrayCat replied to ivanchu77's topic in Misc Fighter Central
Well, that's surprising, but good nonetheless. -
Looks chippz, no offense, but I'm going to be honest, no one's gonna hardly reply on something like this. (Unless otherwise noted.) Although since there's 2 different versions of survival mode, I've already finished the one with buffs with Justice, the alternate one like a traditional survival mode is harder itself. So around the 500+ survival level where it gets difficult.
-
And then the fandom rejoiced, lol! All's is right within the world.
