Good games to those I've played over the week. Inlcuding MastaToken, Resting Legend, Greek Angel, Susano, Legacy, Lunakage, Zking, Graymalkin, and anyone else I played over the week. Hopefully my scrubby Rachel and Noel wasn't too horrible, I know I'm not the best player, but I enjoyed playing all of you.

So, How exactly should you go about zoning out characters with a fast dash that like to be in your face. I.E. Ragna, Makoto, Terumi, etc. It feels like a nightmare trying to get some breathing room to summon a pumpkin in match ups like that, and I just want to make sure I'm not missing a concept that would otherwise make things easier.

Well, I just played against our neighborhood mod, LunaKage, and not only kicked my ass, but he cut it up and served it to me in a 5 course meal on silver platters. Joking aside, I think I really need to be more careful about my drive pressure and how many gaps I leave open, because I kept on getting 4D'ed for free. I also should use Bullet Storm a little less, cause afterwhile, Luna was able to punish me when I used it. Hopefully my Noel starts to improve as the year passes on. I'll just have to practice some more.

I always thought her 4D combos were a lot more challenging then the C silencer combos in CP. The dash cancel timing was a little hard at first, but Now I got it down like a science.

I've only really played CSE Noel and CP Noel, but I think I like CP Noel a little better considering CP Noel can actually special cancel her drives into some more versatile combos.

GG's, sorry I did so poorly. I just sort of froze up for some reason... Trust me, I usually play a lot better then my sorry excuse of performance tonight...

I got into BlazBlue around CSE, but I didn't start to actually really play competitively til about last june. But yeah, I didn't start playing Noel until about a few weeks ago. I tried playing Makoto, but I kept on getting annoyed with how much trouble she had against any character with a projectile.

Here's a list of pros and cons for Noel Pros: High Damage Output Drive provides great flexible pressure filled with frame traps Decent reversals (4D and Zero Gun: Fenrir) Small hurtbox Long range options (Optic Barrel) A great forum Cons: Mix ups without Drive are rather lackluster Reversal is slightly situational, and can be beaten by lows Very dependent on fundamentals for Neutral and Defensive games Probably receives the most hate from players out of the whole BlazBlue cast because of her drive.

Um... Thank you. I'm still really new at using Noel, but you guys are being really nice to me. So, it makes me want to stick to using her and try hard to perfect her. I still have a lot to learn, but maybe it won't seem so hard since your all being so supportive. Like I said earlier, thank you.

Okay, I will. Now that I think about it, it might be helpful to have a list Noel players PSN's on a thread here in the Noel forums.

I agree, a lot of people think Noel's Drive is really cheep, but I don't think that's the case when there are by far much more broken characters. (I'm looking at you, Kokonoe...) I think the only reason Noel players get a bad rep is because there are a lot of scrubs who simply rely on Chain Revolver for more then just pressure, and that just gives poor Noel a bad name. Again, there is worse fraud though. Like Arakune curse fraud. (Basically he just plays keep away until your cursed, spams bugs, without any real combos...) Anyway, your right. Noel players need to stick together.

Would if I could... I'm still in high school, and my Parents would never, EVER, let me leave the state right now... Their kinda over protective sometimes, but I understand why. Actually, It might not be to far fetched to call me one of the youngest members on Dustloop. I actually got into Blazblue around Extend which was my freshman year of high school i think. I don't really have a lot of friends, so this is how I spend most of my time. Anyway, I sent you a friend request on PSN Luna, thanks for helping me out. I'm kinda glad that the Noel forums are so welcoming. It makes me more motivated to perfect Noel as best as I can.
