I'll most likely be open and playing a lot to practice for the small online tourney being held this weekend.

Considering that the Dark Hour seems like an important theme to this game, I wouldn't be surprised if they brought back another P3 Character just for kicks. Ken seems like the most likely choice given some of the fates of the other major characters. (And it would be kinda insulting to him if a Dog was chosen over him...)

Sorry Someonewhodied! But something came up, and I can't play! XP Sorry!
-
I'm open whenever.

He must be a new character, because I don't recognize him from Persona 3 or 4. I'm still holding out for a playable Margaret/Marie.

I'll join.

Looking at the release dates of the original P4A for the JP and US release, it looked like it took about two weeks roughly before the US version was released. I honestly hope there's a quick US release, because Importing is such a hassle! (Not to mention reading Japanese can be a bitch!)

Sort of Persona-esque Idea. But I think a zoner character who throws Tarot Cards at people would be fun. Basically, his Drive would work similar to Platinum, where he'd have a card set as next. When he tosses that card, depending on the Arcana, it would have a different effect. Like Death would cause Life Drain, Hanged Man would disable Drive for a small amount of time, Strength would cause wall stick, Chariot would cause Ground Slide, etc. Also, all of his specials and supers would reference Tarot Card Accana, like Illusion Moon, Forever Sun, Devine Judgement, Holy Star, Magician's Secret, etc.

I guess I'll join and make a fool of my self! :D

Anyone care to spar a little and give me some critique afterward. I'm not that great, but Practice makes perfect.

Rachel is probably the most knowledgable of Terumi's foes, and half the time, she's the only one who knows whats going on most of the time. True, she usually only sits in the sidelines, Rachel is probably rather annoying by the fact that she pretty much sets up the pieces to work in her favor or against Terumi's. Basically, Rachel is creating a bunch of road blocks to keep his plans from going smoothly by setting up the other characters like chess pieces.

Okay, thanks for the tips everyone, this is actually my first time importing something, and boy, is it a hassle for the first time! Thank god for the awesome importing guide Kurushi wrote, it's been super helpful for getting everything ready. Anway, if everything goes right, I should have +R on my PS3 by tuesday at the latest.

Well, I almost have everything ready to get a Japanese Copy of Accent Core Plus to update, but I'm having slight difficulties with getting a digital Yen PSN point Card at Play Asia, but when ever I go to the purchase info for the digital card, it just says, Order Received along with the order number, am I supposed to wait for something, and if yes, how long do I have to freaking wait!

I managed to play a little +R Dizzy on my friend's PS Vita, and I gotta say, the fact that her laser fish summons now cause wal stick on air borne opponents is super fucking useful for setting up a bunch of corner Oki, their often times where I use it along side an Ice Spike, and my foe just wall sticks after being hit by the wall stick. Plus, it gets super easy to set up a bubble loop with the new wall stick. Also, her fish summons, while confusing, have improved a lot. I love how the P Fish Summons range has increased, while the K Fish Summon now does more bites for hit stun. I think Eddie and Millia better watch out, because Dizzy has some Oki games that are just as scary this time around. I'm not sure how useful her FB Spear Summon is though, since in most situations I could use it, I forgot it was there. Not to mention, I'm usually spending meter on faultless defense or Imperial Ray for some more breathing room. I also haven't used the bubbles auto pop feature that much, and I haven't really touched her new D version of the Ice Spike. I plan on getting +R This evening off of the Japanese PSN, and I'll post some more thoughts afterward. But all and all, super hyped.

Well, I'm breaking down and just buying the Japanese game to update. (With a lot of salt I might add, because it's fairly hard and expensive to find Japanese PSN Point Cards or whatever you call them.) Either way, Sony needs to get their shit together! EDIT: BladeofJustice, It should be stickied in the Beginner Mode Forums i think.

I'm home sick right now, so I'll probably be on all day. If anyone wants to play, just post here, VM me, or Message me on PSN. Fair word of warning, I'm not the best player, and I may end up completely sucking depending on your skill level.

[P4A] Naoto Shirogane - Gameplay Discussion "Ace Detective"
Wild Candy replied to ludwig van's topic in Archives
I'm still trying to perfect my Naoto and I'm getting slightly better, but quick question. What does a typical Naoto mix up look like. I know that her main Overheads are J.A, AoA, and Double Fangs, and her main low attacks are her 2A and her Sweep. But how do you lead into those attacks to mix the foe up? What are her most common mix up routes> -

The characters that are least likely to make a come back, are probably Justice, Kliff, Order Sol, and Robo-Ky. -
[Xrd] News & (Theoretical) Gameplay Discussion
Wild Candy replied to Shinjin's topic in Guilty Gear General
If were looking at characters based on popularity and unique play style alone, I think the characters most likely to come back next are Dizzy, Testament, ABA, Baiken, Zapppa, Eddie, and Faust. Dizzy is a fairly important character, and there's actual concept artwork of her in Xrd, so she's very likely. Testament's been in the game's from the get go, and his frightening zoning scares all who have played him in Guilty Gear ABA is probably the most unique fighter game character period, and she had such a strong fan base, she went from spin off character to main series character. Baiken already has pretty strong fanbase, and like Testament, she's been around since the first game. Faust is a unique character, who also has been in the game from the get go, and I believe his fighting style influenced Teddie heavily in Persona 4 Arena. Eddie was shown in the first trailer, and story wise, we can't have Millia Rage without her arch nemesis. And Zappa has existing concept artwork in Xrd, and also one of the most versatile and unique fighting styles in Guilty Gear. -
Anyone wanna play in a few minutes.

Who knows? You think she'd wear those blinders in her normal outfit... -

Oh, so the princess outfit is like her normal attire, and she dons the sporty looking one for battle? Sorta like how she switched from her black dress to her combat suit during her original debut.
