  1. Great! Oh and sorry for having go up against my sucky Rachel, I'm still learning her.
  2. GG's to Daisy Fan! I don't think I've ever played someone who mained Platinum... I thought you did pretty well, and if you have any critique for me, I'd love to heart it!
  3. Alright then, I have a room open for whenever your ready!
  4. Started a room if anyone wants to play!
  5. I'll play for a little bit. (But I'm not that great just so you know.)
  6. I'm really glad Makoto moved up in the tiers, I guess that shows that she got new and better tools to make up for the one's she lost in Extend. Here's to no longer being bottom tier!
  7. Hey, I'm Wild Candy. While I'm not exactly new to BlazBlue, I've been trying really hard for almost 2 years now to master one character... Rachel Alucard. I've read every guide, and I've tried to familiarize myself with her combos and playstyle as much as possible. I was wondering if their were any decent Rachel Players who would be willing to sacrifice their time to play me on PSN using Rachel and critique me on how well I play with her, along with any pointers they may have. For some general notes, I'm fairly comfortable with how Rachel zones and I've gotten better with blocking thanks to playing Makoto fairly often. What I would need is some pointers that more so concern mastering Rachel's rushdown and mix up game, along with maintaining pressure. I'm a really dedicated learner, and if anyone thinks they can help me out, please speak up! Anyway, thanks for reading!
  8. When CP comes around, I'll probably be trying out Izayoi and Bullet. But I'll probably end up sticking with Makoto and Rachel.
  9. From what I saw in most match ups now, one of Makoto's best qualities in gameplay is her excellent Oki game in the corner. That just makes her pummeling the foe in the corner that much more deadly.
  10. Makoto's quote in her gag reel. "Let's face it guys, were already on thin ice with the ratings board."
  11. It wouldn't make sense if 5B and 6A were bad starters, since 5B is Rachel's best standing poke, while she's very dependent on 6A to deal with air approaches. If those moves didn't combo well, Rachel would be a very broken character who wouldn't do much other then Zone and Trap.
  12. So it's just mostly an adjustment in timing now? I guess that's good. (Now I no longer have to worry about my practice into that combo being wasted.)
  13. PSN: BrokenStar96 Main: Dizzy/Jam Location: North East Ohio. I'm still a bit of a flunkie, So i don't go online very much.

Dizzy's probably one of the more versatile characters in Guilty Gear, that's for sure. I think Dizzy should be able to close some of her gaps with some of her summons. (The one's I'm thinking of being 214X or 421S) But what would I know.
  15. It's probably like how 6A > 5B > J.C > 2D > jc > J.2C > 236B > J.C > J.C > 214C doesn't connect as smoothly after 236B.
  16. This is looking great, it looks like they switched from 2D sprites to 3D cell shaded models. Either way, the little bits of gameplay between Ky and Sol looked great. Can't wait to see the other character models. (I'm really curious to see Dizzy's, ABA's, and Jam's new sprites.)
  17. Great, so progress on mastering the bubble loop won't be waisted. I've been working really hard with Dizzy, and I'm starting to get a lot better. (But I'm still no where near good enough to compete online.)
  18. Either way, Relius, Saya, and Hazama/Terumi both scare the shit out of me. I'm not sure which one would be the worst to run into in a dark alley. (Relius would start experimenting on you, Terumi/Hazama would torture you to death, and who in the hell know what Saya would do.) I think Saya does have some form of sentience though. Based on her short little speech at the end of CS where she said that Rachel's attempts to interven were in vain, and she wanted to return the world to it's original state of perpetual death. Rachel also states in her CP Arcade mode story that Saya's main motive behind getting Tsubaki to join her using the Izayoi, was to act as a trump card against her Kokonoe.
  19. Started to practice with Rachel again, I forgot how fun she is! I'm also starting to get better at combo's. Basically what I need to work on now is perfecting those combos, keeping up momentum, and mix ups. How different is CP Rachel to CSE Rachel out of curiosity. (I know the main differences is that Barrel Lotus is available, Lobelia's bounce off the wall, and George recharge rate is much slower.) I guess what I'm asking is has Rachel's combos and mix ups changed a lot over the transitioning.
  20. I'm probably not the first one to ask this, but is Dizzy still capable of performing bubble loops in AC+R?
  21. I'm really glad were getting some noteworthy players between Goro, Matsu, and Eda. Makoto is one of those characters with a wicked and unforgiving learning curve, but once you get the hang of her, can destroy people in a rushdown rampage. Besides, CP Makoto is still a vast improvement over CSE Makoto. I'm happy with her! It may be a struggle, but things are looking up greatly!
  22. So basically her gameplan is to charge much more often, and continue to batter her opponents into submission.
  23. So basically the wall loops themselves became easier to perform, but now there harder to hit confirm, right?
  24. DAMN IT! AND I WAS WORKING SO HARD TO! AND THEY GO AND GET RID OF IT! EDIT: I looked at some match videos, and it looked like the Jam player was using several variations of the Wall Loop.
  25. Started practicing a lot more with Jam, I'm starting to get the hang of Wall Loop. Has the Wall Loop changed at all in AC+R?
