  1. Me thinks you spend too much time on Tv Tropes. Another question, did Arakune break free from Relius's mind control? What's going to happen to him now?
  2. It's not confirmed as of yet and hasn't been given any DIRECT evidence or mention. I admit that the conversation that Shinhwa posted is good proof, but on it's own it doesn't outright confirm it. There are other possible explnations, and there is still a big gap to fill before this explanation can be taken as fact. Namely, the how, when, why, and who, of how Saya's soul escaped Izanami and came to reside inside Noel, and what it means about Noel's existence. Personally, my theory is that Saya's soul is still repressed by Izanami, and she's reaching out through Noel now that she's nearby. I think it makes more sense that Noel's actions are a result of being an untempered unit that's near the orginal. Soul jumping seems a bit too implusable without further evidence or explanation, imo. On this subject, what exactly is Hazama's state of existance? He's called a vessel, the same as Saya, but does that mean he has a soul as well?
  3. Emma you are our Yuusha.
  4. All records of soul transfer in this series have had a third party handle the process of moving the soul to it's intended replacement (Relius with Ada to Nirvana and Ignis, Rachel with Jin into Hakumen, Kokonoe with Nu into Lambda, etc), so I doubt that Saya's soul just happened to wonder about until it found Noel. The two year gap between Saya's possession by Izanami and Noel's birth also leaves me skeptical. If this did happen, who moved Saya's soul, when and how did they do it, and for what purpose?
  5. Sure about that? Everyone thought Kazuma telling Trinity to lift Mind Eater off of Terumi was just Terumi acting as Kazuma. Some clarification later, and look how that turned out.
  6. You know, I wonder...Is it possible that when Izanami speaks as Saya, it isn't her speaking with a disguised voice, but rather, Saya herself? Now that we know exactly how the Terumi-Vessel relationship works, perhaps the same thing can be applied to Izanami and Saya?
  7. Let's try to keep ourselves planted firmly within orbit and have some basis/common sense for our speculations, please. The last thing we need is to awaken the wrath of the powers to be and get these threads nuked and turned into no fun zones. By the by, haven't really kept up with this series too much lately. How's Mai X Taro going?
  8. It's a prequel to pretty much all the games. I thought that would be obvious. Also, this manga getting serious? Hazama and Relius? Oh shit.
  9. Terumi needs buffs, if anything. Kokonoe...Needs a lot of nerfs.
  10. No, that's not what I meant. Valkenhayn said that his treatment will stave off the pain of the injuries for a while, but eventually, it will return tenfold. We're never given a specific time when that was suppose to happen, though. A month is stretching my belief, but weirder things have happened in BlazBlue...
  11. Could it have been because of Valkenhayn's healing treatment in CS catching up to him?
  12. I'd say out of the two, the seithr is most likely. Ragna's azure doesn't do anything like that to him. But wow, I never saw Nu's short story, that sounds very much not fun. I guess getting injected with seithr wouldn't do too much good for your appearance.
  13. The thing about clones is that they typically resemble those who they are based off of with slight differences, yes. ....On that subject though, anyone know why Nu is all pale and grey hair and shit, compared to Noel and Lambda, who resembled Saya's original appearance more? (And by that I mean does anyone know a stated or otherwise implied reason that isn't "Saya's Soul did that." )
  14. That was solely for gameplay reasons. They all go after it at once in the cutscene, then you fight it with Noel, then Jin, cutscene, then Ragna.
  15. Noel's been doing things like that since CT (Spacing out and talking to Ragna like she's Saya and not remembering it afterword). And again, it can be explained by the fact that she's an incomplete Murakumo Unit who still had Saya's memories in her subconscious. That doesn't mean she has Saya's soul. Nu's soul was in Lambda and never left until she died, though. Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, but I'm not sure what you're tying to say here. In any case, there's still no sufficient (or rather, any) explanation for why and how Saya's soul moved to Noel, and I'm pretty sure there would have to be some reason for that to occur. @Toxin: CT Confirmed that Nu has at least some of Saya's memories.
  16. The idea that Saya somehow transferred herself out of Izanami makes about as much sense as the crack theory that Hazama and Rachel are the parents of the trio and that Hazama does what he does so he can get her attention back from their children. Between the fact that almost anything that points to this theory can be explained by already mentioned details from the series and that Izanami herself said that Saya is still inside the body (Her comments about the "vessel" not liking Hazama and adoring Ragna), I don't see how this can make sense. Besides, it would cheapen the whole "I'm a person too even if I'm a clone" devlopement that Noel's been through, and that's one of the few things that people don't hate her for.
  17. Who the hell is they. Why would they have Saya's soul. When was this mistake made. How can you accidentally transfer a soul.
  18. My bad, I only went through Lambda's story one time and didn't retain everything to memory. Still, doing something like that has to be a complicated process, or at least would require plenty of power or a strong power source (The Azure or Magic, for example). I really don't think that Saya could have moved her soul over to Noel's body on her own, and it would have had to happen sometime after Noel was born...A very long time after Saya was possessed by Izanami. When the hell would she have done this? For that matter, if she would have had the opportunity to move Saya's soul, why not just rescue Saya herself from Terumi? It doesn't fit.
  19. I'd like to point out that the differences between Noel, and Nu/Lambda can probably be explained by the fact that Noel was spared the fate of being tempered when she was born, as the facility was destroyed before she was "finished". She was adopted after being found wondering around the wreckage of the futility. Her personality and mental state were untouched, and she was allowed to live a relatively normal life and grow into a person. Nu and Lambda were not so lucky. They were fully programmed and built to completion, and as such do not have the full memories and personality traits Saya had. I'd also like to point out that Lambda had many of the same design traits that Noel has-blond hair and the same face, and IIRC she acted similar to Saya before having her memories erased. (Also, breast size really isn't the best argument for this kind of series, that depends on Mori's/the art designer's fetishes at the time of design. Nu's breasts got bigger between CT and CP for no discernible reason) Is that even possible, though? I remember the attempt at moving Nu's soul into Lambda's being a painful process that required the effort of Kokonoe and multiple Sector Seven scentists to pull off. I doubt that Saya would be able to do that by herself, and who would do it for her? I doubt that Relius and Hazama would be so kind.
  20. I really doubt Izanami was sleeping all that time. She might have had to rest for a bit every now and then, but she couldn't have been sleeping for several years. The Imperator had to have been active at least some of the time. ...Why would Hakumen not know that Izanami is possessing Saya? He called her Izanami to her face. He tried to one shot her with goddamn Time Killer. There's no way he can't know.
  21. You're making me cry here. Jin hated Saya out of jealousy for taking Ragna's attention, that much is clearly stated.
  22. Terumi took Jin's memories of the day he burned down the church. Nothing else.
  23. That makes absolutely zero sense. Saya attacking Jin while being temporally possessed? I refuse believe that this happened and nether Ragna or Jin made any reference to it. Jin only says that she stole Ragna away from him, not that she ever attacked him. If Izanami was indeed trying to possess Saya at the time and having trouble doing it, she wouldn't be fucking around trying a futile process. She would have sent Terumi earlier. When did Ragna ever say her personality changed? And finally, Saya was stated to be very dependent on Ragna during their days at the church. I find it very hard to believe that she wouldn't have said anything to him. @Kylehyde: I think Rachel and Jubei want Ragna to learn how to utilize the Azure properly, without over relying on it or acting under the belief that it is his power to use freely.
