I think it went something along the lines of Rachel discovered Ragna during the first loop when she was thirsty, then just gave him the Azure every other loop from then on instead of drinking his blood. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure she only bit him one time.

Ragna was only bitten in first loop according to supplementary material.
