  1. What's a Relius? Are you sure I said that? That doesn't sound like something I would say. I can tell because it requires me to say something to begin with ^,^ Don't worry. I'll be there and I'll be playing. Your first on the hitlist!
  2. I can go Thursday to Monday and I can go Friday to Monday. Basically, I'll go wherever there's room for me, whenever. Getting an extra day off shouldn't be a problem with the current project I'm working on at work so long as I give them advance notice. This was a very touching post until I read the second half, lol. Also, don't know why but I didn't notice we have quite a few Makoto players until right now.
  3. You're the best Kurushii. Gatling Guns? Kokonoe riding a scooter? Golden Tager X? This just keeps getting better and better. Not going to play her but this is pretty great stuff.
  4. Didn't know her drive was called Graviton. Thanks for that LiveWire. That makes the screenshots in the bottom left corner make more sense. It seems like she can set up Graviton objects on screen and then spend some of her character specific meter to turn it on (and off?). I guess the real question now is if it'll function like Nu/Lambda's gravity seed or will it have it's own special properties. Can't tell for sure but it looks like her gadget that she places on the ground in the top right screenshot can create that vertical blue blast in the screenshot in the bottom right. All speculation of course. Hopefully we get more details soon.
  5. Don't feel bad. I also laughed, lol There is a scan in the news and gamepaly topic. It shows some of her gameplay where she's setting up objects and swinging her rocket drill hammer but we won't know anything for sure about her gameplay until we hear more from people who have the article.
  6. lol, finding out Kokonoe was playable by seeing DerQ post of Kokonoe balls was pretty cool. I'm looking forward to hearing more about her. Damn, the wait for CP just got long ago ;.;
  7. Unofficially, we know that they plan on bringing the game to PS3 in early 2014 but they haven't formally announced it.
  8. That's unfortunate/sucks. Last night was a pretty good night to play BB, imo.
  9. Oh, cool, mystery solved. You just spared me the awkward "I didn't catch your name last time ;.;" moment. Thanks!
  10. I played matches last night, it was terrible and I vowed to never play again after leaving! lol, just kidding. It was pretty fun. That was a pretty close match, Dhaos. Wish I got the name of that Platinum/Makoto player I played. Oh well, there's always next time. Probably going to bring my beaten up and war torn learner's stick next week so it's easier for me to get some matches in. Nice seeing you again. Hope you manage to come again before CP so I can see more of your Mahou Shoujo ways ^,^
  11. Well, to be honest, I enjoy watching you guys play more than I do enjoy playing myself, especially when the difference in skill levels is as big as it is now. But I'll probably be making more of an effort to play with everyone since I'm interested in going to NEC with everyone. But before that, I need to rethink what I need to be doing with Rachel in BB and put together everything I learned about GG from watching Klaige's tutorials with what I know about Millia. Come practice at Foonzo? I'll coach you slightly better than I did last time ^,^
  12. I will be there to creepily watch everyone play while never saying a word like I do every Thursday ^,^
  13. Thanks for posting the tidbits from the article Sourenga, saved me the trouble of completely reading it through google translate. Though, 2 other things I remember noticing from the article are - To talk a bit about Guard Thurst. The way Guard Thrust/Guard Cancel is designed is different from other games. In other games, it's mostly useful for people at a disadvantage. Because Guard Thrust has the alternative resource cost of consuming the GRD Vorpal state in this game, it also rewards people who are playing well overall. - Think they mention looking into Steam release after console release near the end of the article. Steam release was already known but it's good to know when to expect news on it time wise, even though I personally am not interested in the Steam release. More interested in a localization and possibly a full fledged story mode. Pretty good article. The shift to emphasis on grounded battle is probably the most interesting change for me as well as adding incentive to do different combos from weak or strong attack starters. An SG character sounds interesting. I'm particularly interesting in seeing this "What moe really is" art style direction. The only problem I see with this is we currently have 9 great characters in SG but only 1 would be able to take the spot :P I don't necessarily agree with them that a kickstarter wouldn't be helpful to them. The game itself has the art to catch people's eye and Exe: Late fixes a lot of the gameplay issues that turned people off. It really comes down to the angle they would take. I think if they follow Yatagarsu's approach and have a kickstarter to fund speeding up console release, steam release and localization and add some stretch goals for GGPO, story mode and a variety of other online and offline features, then it would be pretty successful so long as they market/advertise it well here in the west. The tidbits on the Japanese view on kickstarters was interesting though. Define fair. Allowing French Bread to put a SG character in their game might be desirable to get more exposure in Japan, especially if they do it around the time of the SG arcade release like the article mentions. But to put a UNI character might not be desirable because 1) Currently, Lab Zero doesn't have funds to do anything but the IGG stuff and 2) They have the 28 other characters who didn't get voted to be the 3rd and 4th DLC character in the IGG Campaign to make. Other than that though, I think it would've been a good idea and I doubt French Bread would have mind seeing one of their characters in SG.
  14. Just a quick FYI/snippet from the SRK article for those who may have been misled by the article's title
  15. lol, that reminded me of my first semester at Concordia where a professor gave instructions on how to turn on a computer in the first program that he wanted us to try. Ah, good times.
  16. um, yeah, Chaos literally just came out this week? The reason I put a question mark at the end of that last sentence is because it isn't really clear whether this is still a loctest or they have finally released Exe: Late. But yeah, like Star said, you're going to have wait a bit longer for Chaos' tech to evolve before we can give you some answers.
  17. Thanks for the video. Netplay is looking pretty solid in terms of interface and features. The avatars repeatedly jumping at each other when 2 people are fighting at a machine in the world lobby was kind of funny. I wonder what those times you can set in your profile are for. The time of day you usually play I presume.
  18. To be honest, I'm surprised neither ASW or Atlus have formally announced P4C with a Famitsu article or press release yet. I'm guessing they're still waiting for Atlus to be bought by someone and sort everything out before proceeding forward.
  19. Oh I see. That sounds pretty cool. It would be nice if it had some invincibility but I think it'll be pretty useful even without it. Looking forward to playing around with that Also, thanks for the video with the Gordeau vs. Chaos theme. It sounds pretty cool. Also, sweet jesus, I forgot how much reach Gordeau's scythe has, lol.
  20. So, it's coming out next week? Guess I need to speed up looking through the roster. Yup. some more of that "amazing" coordination with the people they are working with that ASW showed earlier this year with BBCP and Aksys. They really need to work on that.
  21. Okay, the Yosuke reference gives me a good idea of what it looks like. That's a strange move to give Orie but maybe it'll make more sense when I see it in action. Also, thanks for the vids.
  22. Thanks for the list of observations. I watched some of the stream last night but I only got to see 1 or 2 arcade run throughs. Shorter and lower damaging combos sounds promising but it's still early. We'll have to wait and see how things turn out when people find the new optimal combo routes. Won't bother me either way it ends up. Yuzu's B+C sounds pretty cool but I don't quite understand Orie's B+C. Guess I'll have to see it for myself later. The change to the instant kill system is also something that sounds quite interesting but need to see it for myself to fully understand.
  23. I may be wrong but it looks like they're trying to stream right now on the link that caiooa posted. It keeps coming and going though. Chaos is looking pretty cool.
  24. ...Wow, getting a passport sounds quite easy. Thanks for the info Brice and pochp. It's going to be very useful.
  25. Oh really? I didn't think it was possible to get a passport that fast. I always thought it took months or a year. Thanks you for the quick and detailed reply Pochp. It was very informative. Well, guess I need to do some research on getting a passport this weekend. Also, lol @ the party limo.
