Next tournament is on 3/28. Location Game Galaxy Antioch Cover is $10, 2 main games with $5 entry with the pot split 70/30 for 1st and 2nd place. All side games are free. For this month it'll be: Main GG Xrd UNiEL Side GGXXAC+R P4U2 DFC Puzzle Fighter I will run a maximum of 4 main games a month. If for some reason shit blows up and we have people paying for tons fo games I'll figure somethign out. A game will only be a main game if it can maintain 8+ entrants, if not it'll be a side game.

Competitive drive has been gone for awhile, and Idk what to tell you to do about it. I'm going to Evo, and I've been to multiple majors and clawed my way to the top of Persona. At the same time I still play and win in other games too. And I did it basically on my own from TN because the drive was so dead here. Not trying to brag, but personally I've had it and worked with it, and I've offered to help out and tried to do my best. I put us up for a lot of events, I check interest, hell I even convince Jason to give us more arcade days and to throw money into our pots. We had a free entry $100 UNiEL tournament and it still only had 12 people, where maybe 4 playing actually cared to win. Idk what to tell you. It all comes down to whether people personally want that so I stopped pushing for it as a whole here and just focus on me. I can try and help and do what I can but I don't wanna force anybody to do anything or make them feel uncomfortable with a game anyways. As for Xrd my interest in the game is pretty low, but I can play it fomr time to time. I think the better idea is push people to be better fighting game players across a few different games and then have them focus on whatever they like as far as winning goes. Like currently you can just kind of learn optimal combos/set ups and you're already gonna get top 3 here because of a solid lack of fundamentals across the board. I don't wanna be mean but it's true, having traveled around and having more exposure to other types of play, TN is weak fundamentally and whenever people are pushed they just go "ah fuck it" and quit whatever game and go back to the lawn, then a new game comes out and there's hype for a week but somebody takes the time to learn it or a player with better fundamentals learn it and whoop everybody quits.

You're messing up. SB trap (I assume trap is 214 input) is you rolling the stick accidentally and getting 214CD, I've done it before with missiles lol. If you get superjump it means you you went from 1 > 7 quickly without holding 1. You can avoid that by holding on 1 very briefly before going to 7.

Pro tip: The arcade is CLOSED this Tuesday due to some weirdness with renovations and permits and junk. HOWEVER there will be a "private fight night party" from 5-10PM which basically means Jason is just letting us in at 5PM anyways. Fight Night is still happening, I'll be there to help anybody out, and it starts at 5PM.

If you can't personally bring a set up that's fine, we'll have plenty there ourselves. And I haven't been by for the Xrd menu yet orz

Yesterday was one of the lower ones, presumably because most people were winding down from KiT. Some weeks are higher, some lower.

I mean we haven't really made a list of the OSes like that because of how weird it is. Basic ones are: Fuzzy Jump > 1 > 7C+D > 1 Fuzzy DP > B+D~C Fuzz Roll > A+C~D (careful to not burst) There are other OSes you can do with different inputs too, hence us not just compiling a list of inputs fo rthem and being like "here you go", you need to practically think about and use the different inputs.

The Score in Murfreesboro has their fight night on Fridays and it's open until really late (like 1AM or something). It's 5 dollars.

Every Tuesday in Antioch at Game Galaxy we have fight night, there are players there for a lot of different fighting games, if you show up wanting to play Xrd right now there might be a couple of people playing on Tuesday, doesn't hurt to check. We usually do monthlies the last Saturday of every month, but this month we had KiT over the weekend which was utterly massive. I might do a gathering of some sorts but Idk about running another tournament. I am only human lmao If you wanna go tomorrow night I'll be there. Not a GG player but I can show you around. If you can't amke Tuesdays other stuff happens every now and then.

If you're into ASW fighting games this is the place to ask about Nashville area stuff, yes. There's some stuff on SRK, but a lot of the fihgting game stuff moved to FB as well. Feel free to ask questions.

This thread is a nice thing to have, but if enough people can't seem to figure out how to use it then I'll just lock it, and we just won't have general discussion. The character boards and this forum are already enough, we don't need general threads, we let you guys have them. Edit: It's also in our rules to not be an insufferable crybaby, and it's especially annoying if it's over something that's not even in the game. Next person who decides to go this route I'm not going to go easy on, I am incredibly fucking sick of it.

You have to preoder her to get her, she's locked until the 18th otherwise. It's kinda dumb, but it has been pointed and mentioned countless times during the preorder period. She should come with your LE preoder at least. Sorry to inform you, don't complain about it here.
