I tried that combo out skye, and I even got it to work at least once, on Rachel. It has some serious problems tho. The biggest one being that it only works off of FC 5C, and you have to do the jump cancel then immediately j2A, so you don't have any time to hit confirm the combo. But yeah, it did combo if nothing else.

I did not lose all my money, I still have some left. However, I think that's entirely because Spark stopped entering the CDC after a while. I imagine because he wasn't having any fun raping my Arakune like a busty japanese schoolgirl in a field of tentacle monsters. EDIT: Oh, and I edited the other post to reflect Zaido. That was fun match!

So... very... tired... The BBQ at pulsr's was awesome, and the CDC happened without a hitch! Ok, well, there were some major hitches that occurred, but for the sake of being lazy, I'm going to avoid talking about those for now. The only real issue I feel I need to mention is that about half way through the night, I lost the notepad in which I was keeping track of all of the records of win/losses So, the following results are just what I can remember off-hand and may not be 100% accurate. 1) Mike Z: Lost 2 sets, won 1. 2) Veteru: Won 2 sets 3) Spark: Won 2 sets, lost 1 (I beat his Tager, not his Hakumen, so it doesn't really count) 4) Severin: Won 2 sets, lost 2 sets (I only lost to his litchi, not his ^-11) 5) Jason D: Lost 3 Sets 6) Huey253: Lost 2 sets, won 3. 7) Plastic Chicken: Lost 1 set 8) Purrin: Lost 1 set 9) Romel: Lost 4 sets 10) Xie: Lost 4 sets 11) Zong_One: Lost 4 sets, won 1. 12) Bang Camaro: Lost 2 sets 13) Render: Lost 2 sets, won 1. 14) Dacidbro: Won 1 set EDIT: 15) Zaido: Won 1 set Um... I talked to HFA about the possibility of a stream, and it doesn't look good so far. To summarize what he said, there WILL be a stream there, but it's typically reserved for GG and misc. stuffs. Don't get your hopes up for a stream, but it MAY happen.

Ok, Rin. Seth. There's only 1 fair way to settle this disput: You guys play a FTF match, which will be watched by a panel of judges. At the end, the judges will confer and determine who is the scrubbiest player and give them a donut and direction to the local arcade.

Zong, while I think that would be a lot of fun, and hype as well, I can only afford to do so much/bring so much money with me. I think it's best all around if I just stick to the original plan.

Honestly, the new curse combos are not that difficult to do. The real hard part is getting the curse in the first place (unless you get lucky with an air throw). His non-curse combos can be pretty difficult to do, with the hardest being the j.2a dive-cancel 5D combos. But you can get those reliably with enough practice.

As I mentioned before, the PM I sent to pulsr (which is the only way I have of contacting him) asked if I could hold the CDC at his bbq. Of course, this would also necessitate Shtkn to bring his shoebox set up and I have not spoken with him about this. Anyway, as pulsr has not responded to me yet, at this point I can only assume the answer is "no". Therefore, as much as I'd like to do it at the bbq, it will be at AI unless I hear otherwise.
