The main issue I have with your proposal is that I've won many matches (and lots many matches) when I had less than 10-5% life. So saying "throw the match once you get to % life" is a problem, because that doesn't mean that they were going to win. I'm trying to do the best with the resources at my disposal, so please just bear with me.

I'm planning on talking with the owners and see what we can work out. Worst case scenario is that we just play normally, which is what I was planning on doing at the beginning anyway. Also, I've been thinking over what Dacid said, if event mode doesn't work out. How about if someone beats me 2/3, they win their money, then An auto-rematch happens, where we play again until I win 2/3. That MIGHT mean that some people would be waiting really long for their turn, but it makes the most sense to me. What do you guys think?

Finally sat down and ground out a list of rules. First post updated! Rules: 1) Anyone is eligible to enter. 2) You can enter the CDC as many times as you want. 3) You're paying for your own game(s). 4) All matches will 2/3, on whatever setting the arcade machine is set to default to. 5) Winning 2/3 matches, you will be give $5 cash, on the spot. 6) Proof of money can be provided on site. 7) The CDC will last from opening till closing on the indicated days. 8) I will only have a limited amount of money on me. Once it's gone, that's it - No additional prizes will be awarded after the initial cash prizes are gone. 9) This event is on a first come-first serve basis. John, I saved you a trip. I found 47 So. B St, and it is closed. It's behind a Thai restaurant called something silly like "Bow Thai", and realty signs are still up in the window. There's not even a "coming soon!" banner or anything.
