  1. A clean half-circle is really important for Buster. Any dropped corners will ruin it. It's something you just need to grind out. Watch your inputs in training mode. It's two half-circle-forwards and Punch. Input it during the superflash and hit P right as the projectile is appearing, you should get it consistently. I've found myself dropping it a few times just by being too late or too early... the window feels tighter in Xrd compared to +R.
  2. AA2! Building on the hype of our first monthly in this new series, I bring you this months Alpha Attack tournament. There will be 4-6 main games each event and 2-3 side events. One side event will always be free entry. We will try to keep it fresh each time with a different roster of side games and main games as they are relevant. We will also ALWAYS have at least one tournament on an arcade machine. Most likely one of our Blast City, Astro City or New Net City candy cabs. Head to head setup if space allows. This month the games are: $10 entry main games 2pm - Guilty Gear XRD Sign (PS3) 4pm - Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 (XBOX 360) 5pm - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (PS3) 6pm - Ultra Street Fighter IV (XBOX 360) Side games: 1pm - Project Justice (arcade) FREE entry 1pm - BlazBlue ChronoPhantasma (PS3) $5 entry 3pm - Mystery Game (various consoles) $3 entry 3pm - Killer Instinct (XBOX ONE) $5 entry 5pm - Persona 4 Ultimax (PS3) $5 entry Location: Arcade Legacy 662 Cincinnati Mills Dr Cincinnati, OH 45246 Cost: $10 venue fee. Includes unlimited FREE PLAY on all the 70+ arcades and pinballs! Stream: http://www.twitch.tv/arcadelegacy Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/events/1478227025751918/ Payout: All games have a standard top 3 payout. 1st place gets 70% of the pot, 2nd gets 20% of the pot, and 3rd gets 10%. Payouts will be 70/30 if there is less than 10 entrants for a game (which is not likely for most games). The free side game will have a prize.
  3. Edited Sourenga's post with more titles.
  4. Wait until the store updates in about 4.5 hours.
  5. As well as can be expected. Xrd's loading so I'm doing good on that front.
  6. You'll probably want to decide on a voice setting for this tournament. The main menu's news indicates that matches between English and Japanese voices may have additional lag, until a future patch addressing it is released.
  7. Some datamining showed English voice files, so.
  8. Side note: if you pre-downloaded Xrd, select it in your game list and hit Triangle to bring up the menu, then choose Check for Update. You can go ahead and get the "day one" patch out of the way.
  9. Yup. Cloud-stored saves can be transferred between versions. Not sure what the exact process is, though.
  10. I can't say with absolute certainty, but I'm assuming so. They just took the pre-order down.
  11. Could be HK version, could be an early imported copy... or maybe that patch came out faster than expected.
  12. Already posted, and use a fucking spoiler tag.
  13. ASW confirmed via Twitter that the "speed priority" setting will be automatically applied to network mode.
  14. Context dictates that it wasn't entirely directed at you.
  15. I get the impression that will be handled once the right people have the game in their hands, as it has for other games. Be sure to thank them once it's up.
  16. It'll be on your Download List.
  17. Japanese version's the same price as PS3 if you get it digitally. (Thanks, JPY.) Same netcode, no two-frame windows without any sort of input buffer.
  18. This isn't an issue outside of one or two games that know they fucked up. It was never an issue before, it shouldn't be an issue now. I swear you people love to do this shit. Yeah, it's gonna be variable netcode. No one's surprised. It'll be shit sometimes. Support your scene. (I'll still be playing online, since leniency's less of an issue now. Fuck +R online.) Download Elphelt during the window. You don't need the game to do that. Wouldn't shock me if Aksys extended her availability anyway, since they're cool people. Just... fucking relax, all of you. First the hype was baseless and out of control, now that the game's nearly in our hands it's depression? Unbelievable.
  19. I started my download about five hours ago, yeah. Already installed.
  20. The pre-order window ended on the 30th. They kept it to a specific time-frame because the pre-orders included bonuses (free Elphelt and entry into a drawing for signed merchandise). You'll still be able to buy it digitally on the day it releases.
  21. There's a thread specifically for discussing the dub. Discuss the dub there, so that people who want to discuss the dub will see it and discuss it with you. Don't clutter this thread up with things for which a thread already exists. The last few pages of dub discussion was moved to that thread, so go read it there if you're interested.
