I agree with this. We shouldn't be allowing people to post stupid misinformation. I don't know why anyone gets away with it. Mods for character boards should be stepping in and shutting that down.

Makoto's DLC colors are in her sprite set. Furthermore, on the CS disc, all of the DLC colors are with the characters. I just haven't finished repacking the new sprites yet - it's something I've been very, very slowly working on over the weeks, along with compiling story mode art. Mostly I'm just lazy, but I've got copious free time now.

Bad players post stupid misinformation because the good players post stupid shit like this, and don't give the appearance of a person whose input is worth respecting. Good players post stupid shit like this because bad players post stupid information, and don't think this forum is worth treating with respect. Sounds to me like all we need are some good players who don't post like bad players, and let it trickle down from there. Can we even do that? Is Dustloop worth saving?

notsogos made a trolling/basically cyberbullying thread regarding Blade in Blazblue General that somehow managed to get 7 pages while I was painting the living room. I came in, deleted it, and infracted every dumbass that posted in it. Then I talked to shtkn, short version being that Dustloop's tolerance both for people who post stupid things constantly, and people who alternate between posting worthwhile things and hardcore trolling, is entirely too high and that we need to step up and try actually enforcing the rules and making this forum worth a shit to visit. As part of that, people are now automatically banned for a week when they hit X number of infractions (I think 5).

I can't infract myself. Even if the post warrants it, which I freely admit they sometimes do. I also let most "Dumb Shit" posts go, regardless of poster, so long as they don't drag threads off-topic or aren't part of a thread so colossally full of dumb shit that I have to delete it outright while telling people what they've done wrong here (i.e., replying to such a dumb shit thread with more dumb shit, making the situation far worse than is reasonable). I'm not sure what the YouTube thing is about. I also don't submit contentless posts to relevant threads. (Of course most of my posts are BBG/Zepp Museum, so relevance is questionable to begin with.) So yeah, I'm a hypocrite. I infract when the mood strikes me, and I post things that probably deserve to be infracted. This has always been the case. Beyond that, I actually bother to police threads and keep shit organized - that's my actual job here, that's what I do, and apparently I do it pretty well, because they still let me do it. If anyone who matters has a problem with the way I mod, they can unmod me at the drop of a hat. Until then, you're stuck with me. Edit: assuming you don't get banned.
