  2. Well where has all of our 2DA combos gone now? Every single combo I used that involved 2DA is now RUINED.
  3. Okay, so I found P4A and I'd love to play everyone again. It's been like 2 or 3 months, so I'm really rusty. I even try to barrier sometimes when I block... I'm looking at YOU Pyry, and Oast.
  4. Oh, then this makes blockstrings an even harder task for me. I'll just be creating space with 5C and cancelling into A orb instead of going for that overhead. (But I could train the opponent to block low )
  5. 5A > 5AA > j.C is really fast, and could lead into some good combos if OMC'd, in vanilla at least. But giving Liz a standing overhead that can't be combo'ed from without OMC is what she deserves. Edit: Wooaahh I totally forgot about AoA, but that still sucks:mad:

But I want this post to be on topic so... As for what Luminos has said. From what little I remember from playing A.B.A, she was indeed really risky, but really nice. Good normals, pretty good damage, and more things at the cost of health loss, but she had an unblockable attack. Also a standing overhead. Elizabeth does not, this could be a huge difference in their skill levels. (Don't even listen to me, I feel stupid saying that. I just wanted this to be relevant to gameplay discussion.)

Glad the recovery of 5C and 2C is reduced though.

That was some fun matches we had, your Tsubaki is hella scary when you get me in the corner (which you did EVERY ROUND in like 10 seconds), and your Valkenhayn was even more trouble. My Kagura is not good yet, no matter what you say, (I was dropping some of the easiest combos today and forgetting blockstrings too) but it was great getting a chance to fight you. This encourages me to try learning Tsubaki again, if I don't get mashed to oblivion again. Oh, also hate it when people jump but whatever. Also, thanks for sticking with me twice when random people who were probably a better challenge tried to interrupt our matches. Really, thanks.

Because I don't remember you saying that, unless it's the message you sent me only about not always going for the higher damage combos, because most of Kagura's combos still do some good damage. (And you didn't mention things about midscreen either... And from the last time I fought you, I was only trying out those combos. I didn't even have the full thing ready, I was forgetting them every second. I've learnt them now, but I'm better off only using them for fun if they aren't practical. Thanks anyway, I never knew you were FatalCounter. You shoulda told me =D
  10. I don't think this has been posted before, but I've found this pretty useful. I know you can get 6k meterless in the corner, though I think this is more practical. Corner DMG: 6069 2C > 2DB > RC > 2C > 5C > 46A > 5C > 6DC > 2D(delay)C > 46B > 5C > 6DC > 5DA > 2DA > 28C I'd love to know if there are any better combos in the corner starting with 2C > 2DB. I'm not sure if these ones are practical, but I've been able to do them in a match a couple of times. It's just the 5DC after the RC that I'm worried about (not that the timing is hard or anything). This one is a little weird. End of the combo depends on how close you were to the your own corner. Still connects if this combo was used at the distance you start a round from. Midscreen DMG: 5049 2C > 2DB > RC > 5DC > (delay)3DA > 46B > 6C > 6DA > 3C > 6DC > 2DB I love doing this one. Back To Corner DMG: 5995 2C > 2DB > RC > 5DC > (delay)3DA > 46B > 66~2C > 5C > 46A > 5C > 6DC > 2DC > 28C Similar to the one above, but this one sacrifices damage for oki/knockdown. DMG: 5399 2C > 2DB > RC > 5DC > (delay)3DA > 46B > 66~2C > 5C > 46A > 5C > 6DC > 2DB > 46A Practical?

This is gameplay discussion after all (this is allowed right?) First of all, +2C untech time back to P4U1 + Liz's counter assault is fully invincible This makes me sad that it would be considered a buff anyway, even the Liz haters know she should have it this way already. What I didn't understand? - A fun change could be that if any projectile/hitbox touches AW garu without touching Liz , its hit hitbox is activated (turns into the giant tornado) Yeah that is fun, but would Garu still move around? In AW, the Garu we have now is huge, but does not move. Would your suggestion let the huge Garu move or not, because if somebody is throwing a projectile at you, I imagine they'd be far away from the Garu meaning they wouldn't even get hit when Garu's hitbox increases really... Then I think I did disagree a bit with these two put together: + overall damage slightly buffed : not 6k on everything, but 4K on non-ground combos should be a given + AW slower buffer, slower startup, always inflicts negative Penalty I know you said Negative Penalty would only be inflicted in AW, but wouldn't this be incredibly strong? When the first loketest came out, I wanted it, I remember posting something about it. But when I think about it, 8k combos THAT easily? Too strong.

  15. Yes Arcsys! Please! I have no idea why I still do it but sometimes I just mash on 4B. What I want, which may have already been said before, is for the opponent to just completely stop moving when they're put in gravity seed(Luna Only), or close to that. Like 'Heavy Gravity Seed' from Abyss. Because if Gravity Seed is used in Luna, I noticed the Gravity meter takes longer to recover. Gravity Seed is great enough as it is in Dia of course, but I kind of refrain myself from using it outside of combos in Luna.
  16. 5C CH in the corner. I agree with your statement about Hamaon combos. So far, all I have seen is almost all of Liz's meter used, and you need to be in awakening. Most of them in the corner too. Vanilla was different, midscreen hama combos from resets even with only something like 75 meter without awakening. If I was gonna get the game, I'd consider only using her for fun when I'm playing a lot of matches against my friend. I still think she has that fun potential...

  18. PLEASE. It sounds a little dumb, but give Nu a DP in Dia. She has a meterless super with invul that is ONLY accessible in Luna, so if you get put in a corner while your in Dia then uh... yolo 4B. It doesn't matter if it's Hazma's 'meterless DP' that can't really be called a DP because of it requiring some previous move that... whatever you know what I mean. Because c'mon, SHE IS SO SYSTEM MECHANIC RELIABLE! Amane survives better than her! Because while his reversal super can not always be used with 50 meter, because his drill can sometimes be exhausted. If Nu is in Dia, she is NEVER turning back without getting hit. So no Luna for reversal. Overdrive. Counter Assault. Roll. Burst. Yada yada.
  19. Really sucks. That Liz with 700 psr got 3k for 50SP, previously, we got 4k for 25SP. Maybe we are missing out on a great combo route, but I can't see it. And a lot of the time, I see SB Mabufudyne used during combos. So is this another 25SP that we need to use often unlike Vanilla? Because I hardly saw it in Vanilla. Maybe they nerfed her damage because of the way she can inflict multiple statuses? The Liz had Yosuke in a corner while he was inflicted with shock and poison at the same time, which was pretty cool.
  20. Just thought it might be worth mentioning that Kagura's A orb stops most of her drive moves. It stops Sickle Storm in both Dia and Luna and also Spike Chaser in Dia and Luna. Beats 5D as well in Dia, haven't tested how the orb reacts to Luna 5D, but I assume that Luna 5D would beat the orb. So I'd probably use the orb when Nu uses Gravity Seed because it beats everything except 4D and Dia Sickle Storm from behind. Pretty weird but I like it.
  21. Yup, I just got bodied by Nu using Kagura. Pissed me off when I couldn't keep Nu in the corner because of her jumping out of command grab setups. Does all this mean that I can actually press buttons (not carelessly) during blockstrings instead of breaking my thumbs blocking Valkenhayn?
  22. This might just be what got me killed every single time. I noticed that I'm just throwing out all of her specials and drives while I'm at the same place on the screen. If I do move, I only end up air backdashing and putting myself in the corner. AchedSphinx also mentioned something similar too, thanks for reminding me of this. And by what you have both said, playing a lot of matches might be what I actually need. Uh huh, thanks.
  23. Well hello again guys. I wanted to get back into learning Nu, because she's Nu. But I don't even want to bother considering I'd get bodied online for not knowing how to zone. What's the best approach to start learning how to zone well with Nu? I've been watching a lot of Yoshiki. Something I struggle with a lot is 6D. I run by the old tactics, just 6D when they are in the air. But my 6D whiffs a lot, usually when the opponent IAD's. I've been thinking of using 214D to stop air approach sometimes, but I can't do that all day. And simple anti-airs like 6A won't work because I'm talking about when the opponent is much further away than that. Thank you.
  24. If you wanted a fine man, why is your main not Relius I ask? Kagura execution quite easy for me. (First game on PS3, so I had no idea how to do special commands on a PS3 pad.) Kagura was my character.
