  1. ???(EL) vs ???(Sho) I'm sorry, I can't read Japanese. On the other hand, Randomizer is used pretty early in this match.
  2. Uh, I have no idea what you meant be hell fang stuff but. If you are sure your going to get a 3C CH, you can go for: 3C > 6DA > 2DA > 46B > 6C > 6DB > 2DC > 5DC > 28C. I would only go for 5B if your not sure your going to land a CH, but you can go for the basic things like: 5B > 5BB > 3C > 2DC > 46A > 5B > 3C > 6DC > 2DB (if close enough to the corner). Basic 6C combos would be something like: 6C > 6DB > 2DC > 5DC > 2D8. But if you want max damage, you can try things that require some timing like: 6C > 6DA > 2DA > 46B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 28C. Or if you want oki, from 46B, use 3C > 2DC > 48B. I hope this is what you meant. If you wanted combos that you can get off a non 3C CH, it's pretty much the same as 5B except without the 5B > 5BB. By the way, 5C isn't any good in comobs if they opponent is standing, although it IS good on CH. 2C is even better on CH, but the only difference is that 2C has more hitstun so you could be further away from the opponent and always catch them with 6DA. 5C/2C > 6DA > (delay) 5DA [optional] > 2DA > 46B > 3C > 2DC > 5DC > 2D8. You could also go for 5C > CT > 6DA and the rest of the previous combo.
  3. This is good, more Liz footage! So, did this patch help her so much that we see her much more in videos? Or over time people just learnt this new Liz and the patch was just a tiny buff?
  4. This is cool and all, but I'm not a Damosu. I know a lot of the people on this thread are, but I'm far from it. It was marvelous to see Damosu pull of some stuff, but I doubt I'll be able to do something similar. I also have no idea how to react to seeing Liz get beat up by BB's Slab. 236A's speed in awakening also interests me.
  5. I'm guessing you guys watched Damosu vs BB? Comments on the SB Randomizer and the heavy damage combo Liz got after it? It was in the last Liz match.
  6. 5DC > 2DA isn't an easy thing to do, it can be different on some characters and depending on the combo, the delay time could be different. But I actually do use this combo (except after B orb, I use 6C > 6DA > 3C > 2DC > B orb Oki assuming I haven't used 6C at the start of the combo) a lot in games, so if you can learn 5DC > 2DA then in my opinion it's practical if your confident with the combo.
  7. I haven't watched the video yet, did the Liz do some other normals before 5C? Or was it a straight CH 5C and the opponent happened to be crouching.
  8. (Don't listen, or trust a word I say.) 3C doesn't really have bad range and is actually a great starter on CH or even non-CH so that could work.
  9. Eh heh, it did look stupid in one of the videos where Sho got pushed around on the other side of the screen by constant counterhits from Thanatos. It was stupid for him not to frickin block, honestly.
  10. That Liz was really entertaining to watch! I just found it pretty nice to see Thanatos out a lot without constantly getting broken.
  11. So. I go on to Play-Asia.com and on the main site I see a huge picture (that looks amazing) of Persona 4 Ultimax: Ultra Suplex Hold or something like that, and the release date for one of the PS3 verisons is Aug 28, 2014. The other PS3 and Xbox release date is Q4, 2014. Don't know if I'm late or anything, but what does Q4 mean btw?
  12. Oh. My. Gosh. Bang. Go. Away. Bang is super fast, and it's pretty easy for him to dash in and start some pressure. Kagura's 6C would fail a lot because either Bang evades it, is too fast for it, or one of his Kunai/Shuriken thingys hit you out of it. I usually try to DP whenever I know they're close to me. Also, another problem I'm having is dealing with his stupid drive. I can sometimes command throw him out of the teleporting attack (super lucky) but other than that I'm not really good at dealing with it. And for damn sake he's good at staying away, and it's incredibly aggrevating when he's inflicted poison.
  13. Came back to this thread and read some stuff. If she is getting her damage back, I'm pretty happy. Don't want to forget the times where I made huge comebacks with this character due to her huge damage off of one solid corner hit. It's fun to do. That IS if she is getting her damage back. I don't really know how quotes work on this new boards so like, GBAer, learn the Garu route on every character. It gets harder to do on netplay too, but once you've done it, a new joy that you have never before experienced overtakes you.
  14. I got bored yesterday, and decided to make a list which characters 5DA needs to be delayed against in this corner combo: 5B > 5BB > 3C > 6DC > 2DC > 46B > 5C > 46A > 5C > 2DA > (delay)5DA > 66 > 3C > 6DC > 2DB. Because I noticed, against certain characters, you really don't need to delay 5DA, you can just use it immediately after 2DA and the 3C will connect after 66. This list will probably become useless after the patch, but whatever. In the end, you could just use a different combo instead of going through the trouble of all the delaying. Note: I didn't test this on Kokonoe or Terumi because I don't have any DLC, and I didn't test this on Platinum or Rachel either for personal reasons. In the No Delay list, names displayed in blue would indicate that not only is no delay needed, you'd actually have to be pretty fast with the 2DA > 5DA. No Delay Needed: Azrael, Ragna, Arakune, Carl, Kagura, Tager, Hakumen, Taokaka, Bang, Valkenhayn, Tsubaki, Amane, Bullet, Mu-12. Now with this next list, the delay times for each character are the same or really similar. If you practice the combo long enough in training mode, you'll probably get the delay time down, like most people have done with 6C > 6DA. Delay: Jin, Noel, Litchi. This characters in this next list have a super huge delay time, my way of knowing when to use 5DA is when they hit the ground the 2nd time, but you might not understand what I mean by that. So your just gonna have to go into training mode and figure out the delay time yourself Note: Most of the characters in this list would end up behind Kagura and out of the corner after you used 3C if you didn't delay 5DA surprisingly. Super Delay: Izayoi, Nu-13, Hazama, Makoto, Relius. Hopefully I didn't get anything wrong in here, all though this was just a huge waste of time lol.
  15. Don't make me jealous, I use the stupid PS3 controller pad.
  16. As everybody else has said, thanks so much for this! I have no idea how much time this must take for you to do, but it's very appreciated! I'll enjoy browsing through these!
  17. I'm not saying he is worse now, but I'm not sure. Maybe he has better neutral, but he sure may not be getting that huge midscreen damage. And what you said about 6C, being a great pressure tool, you don't mean 6A do ya?
  18. Hane has shown me that you can still get 6k from 2C > 2DB > RC in the corner without a super ender! I really don't feel like worrying about any most of Kagura's nerfs anymore, but that 6C nerf hit me hard.
  19. I was one of those against you. Man I was salty forgive me Your too good!
  20. Well, I suck. My execution sucks lol. I can only do it for so long in training mode for it to be pretty much gapless. I'm talking about 46A > 66~2A. Although as seen in the video, no wavedashing is required when the opponent is instant blocking. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ts9dzL8Viuw Yup, your right. It beats mashing and up back, but barrier can be hell sometimes, much like Hakumen.
  21. Sorry Uchiwa!!! Don't body me! My Amane is not ready! I'm hoping... Frame traps for mashers because we can now actaully start a stance followup quicker.
  22. Well Kagura's blockstrings suck, and the orb blockstring can be beaten by multiple characters or jump outs. He needs better blockstrings. Or am I totally wrong? (I hope I'm wrong.)
  23. I haven't tried Hazama in CP, but he could combo off his 6A with 5A against Tager and Hakumen in CS2. 2A couldn't. Obviously this is a different game, but I feel like the same is gonna happen for Kagura.
  24. EX Lambda was the most boring thing ever imo. I like CONSTANTLY pressing buttons, which Nu in CP makes me do. Probably because of 22A. A big difference now is, if you whiffed a drive move in CT with Nu, it was okay. Now, if you whiff a drive move in CP, you die.
  25. 2C is now amazing. Great startup(this is shorter, right?) and recovery, but I care more about it's recovery. It's recovery was just stupid before... I wonder if I'll still be able to get 6K in the corner with 50 meter and 2C CH. That damage in the middle of a game seemed to piss people off... I LOVED IT.
