Fuck yeah! I played a couple of Ad-Hoc Party matches today in order to improve my Lightning and I lost one of them due to paying more attention to her exposed shoulders and her tighter fitted outfit than the match itself.

Funny thing is, I too was torn between The 3rd Birthday and Dynasty Warriors 7, but I wanted Lightning Brea more than Wang Yuanji throwing shanks and Bao Sanniang sluttifying the series up so yeah. And it's not like I bought The 3rd Birthday just for the DLC code, I've played the first two Parasite Eve games and this game looks great according to the gameplay videos and it is.

Since the game just came out, there's plenty of them out there but be sure to secure your copy as soon as possible if I were you. And don't bother using the code, I already used it. EDIT: For those of you who care, the Warrior of Light's helmetless costume is out of PSN for free.

I had a friend who pre-ordered the game from Amazon AND from Gamestop, just so he can both exclusive codes, and then he said he'll return his copy that he got at Gamestop soon. So what you're saying is that abilities such as EXP to EX don't have any effect when playing under Skill Ruleset? How about abilities such as Speed Boost? Are those allowed?

I'm really liking the Skill Ruleset now. Don't have to worry about what builds to use, using the wrong set, etc. Just one question though, do Abilities such as Counterattack, Riposte, still take effect if the Skill Ruleset is being used? Because I noticed how sometimes, I forget to check if my character has essential abilities such as Free Air Dash not equipped or troublesome abilities such as Auto Assist equipped.

Yes you can use custom movesets.

Bleh, you just missed me. Official (Skills) Ruleset (3/7), which is no equipment. And don't worry about if you aren't level 100 yet, I can always adjust my level to match yours.

I guessed that you wouldn't be able to gain meter for your EX Gauge as much but wow, not being able to gain any EX meter is such a big tradeoff. Anyway who do you think are the best Assists so far? So far I'm liking Tifa and WoL. Aerith is okay but setting up for Holy is such a bitch, is it even worth it? And to the respectable moderator(s) who watch over the Misc Fighter Central subforum, will you be so kind to change this thread's name into "Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy" if possible? Assist builds? As in there's equips and accessories that can build up the Assist Meter more quickly other than Support Skills? And playing Dissidia 012 reminds me of playing MvC2, constantly whiffing quick attacks and projectiles to build up meter. EDIT: For the incredibly lazy, Rei-N on the Dissidia Forums was kind enough to upload a "Tournament Ready Save-File" so if you want to jump right into Adhoc Party battles without spending a lot of time unlocking things and don't care about the Museum not being completed yet, then this is the save for you.

One with the battle voices undubbed only for the impatient, and a 100% undubbed version afterwards.

From personal experience, the only I can win against Valk is if I try NOT to get hit or get caught in pressure and hope he whiffs a move that will move him close enough to me for him to get crossed up by 2D. Oh wait that's my general strategy for playing as CS1 Noel.

Anyway I FINALLY got the Aerith Assist and KH Cloud outfit DLCs to work, all thanks to ironically, an official Playstation Network program called Media Go. I can't wait to cop Lightning's Aya Brea costume on the 29th and Cecil's Knight of the Twin Moon costume on April 19th. But come one Squeenix! Just give word that you're going to be releasing Tifa's and Squall's DLC costumes in America and Europe too!

This is just a suggestion but I think it would be great if you could include the old CS1 frame data alongside the new one for those who want to compare or maybe you could make a little note what changes have been made from CS1 to CS2.
