People have a tendency to think that I choose my characters based on them being mains due to picking Sol, Ragna, and Ryu (SF2). However, that's not necessarily the case. When I first started playing fighters, I wasn't sure what style of gameplay I was comfortable with, but I discovered after maining 3s Chun and SFIV Zangief that what I want is a character who can sit back and throw out ridiculously good pokes. So when BB came out I asked people, "Who plays like Slayer?" and the answers came back as either Ragna or Litchi. Since I played Sol already, I decided on Ragna.

Sites hate on GG because you're either looking at reviews of Isuka, or they tend to be biased against revisions. If you're gonna pick up a GG game, get Accent Core, as it's the newest one. -

You can map "PKS" to one of the shoulder buttons. It might put you in IK Mode accidentally if you try to FRC a HS attack though.

As a combo? No, throws can't be comboed in GG. But it can be used as a mixup.

I only know one setup, but when doing the actual loop, you do one j.D, let the stick/pad go to neutral, and then tap j.D again.

What Tage said is true. As for the CPU, you can't mix up the computer, so it's only really good there for cutting recovery times.

Every time I land after the first 41236S, A.B.A. stays on the ground forever before I can jump again. After I finally can, the opponent already teched. Should I try FRCing it?

I got to level 990 in AC+ with Sol and then Gold Kliff owned the shit out of me in two 6Hs. -

I like what I've played of it so far. I wouldn't have thought that Square would manage to successfully make a fighter as over-the-top as Advent Children. However, the one thing that bothers me is that it seems really difficult to regain momentum after a Break. The attacker is usually awarded so many Brave Points that it becomes a bit of a slippery slope to catch up.

I was kidding; I'm not on a level yet where I can blame his limitations as opposed to lack of experience. That said, Potemkin seems to have a lot more favorable matchups than Sol, which would put him in a different tier.

Yeah, that's been known for a while. It's usually better to use a jumping attack into SW though.

After remembering that this is GG and thus Volcanic Viper can be done mid air, I came up with a badass Sol combo that does about 80% damage: Lock on, X, X, VV (2hit) [MC], j.X, j.X, VV (1 hit) [MC], j.X, j.X, Break Down [MC] X, X For a similar result for all of your tension, just spam VV [MC]. For example: VV (2 hit) [MC] VV (1 hit) [MC] VV (1 hit) j.X 3 If this were a normal GG, people would be pissed at the damage VV does. Interesting thing I noticed about the system while pining for Gunflame FRC: Projectiles can be Modern Canceled, but only when they make contact with the opponent.

Two words: Training Mode. Speaking of which, I'm at a loss as to how to combo with Izuna. The only decent combo I was able to come up with was Lock-On Up+X [MC] Up+X [MC] air combo, but that last part is kind of difficult to time.
