Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but the Snow Town stage's snow was nerfed, the falling snowflakes are now smaller and less sparkly, and fall more slowly. Kind of want the old snow back, it was more unique-looking.

Guess I'm gonna have to prepare myself for the impending combo devastation.

This looks interesting, I might be able to help with a few direct translations, although I don't have anything compiled, just whatever's in my head. I know lots of Terumi/Hazama stuff.

I think that all of the Japanese VA's are amazing, they fit and portray the characters so well. English, on the other hand, it just never sounds right to me. It just feels half-baked, no disrespect to the English VA's of course. This is just my personal opinion.

Well, in regards to it being Terumi's birthday, at least in Japan right now, I guess there's one I should do, and that is, to type The Birthday Song. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday Dear Terumi, Happy Birthday to you! Typing that felt so stupid, yet so right.

I think that, yes, Mori should localize all of the PHASE SHIFT novels, but only as long as they aren't butchered with an abomination of a translation.

I cannot even express how godlike I find the JP voice actors. I especially exalt Yuichi Nakamura because of all the maniacal laughing that has to be done, must destroy the poor man's throat. I think all of the JP voice actors are amazing at what they do.

Tomokazu Sugita is Ragna's true JP Voice actor, isn't he? I think that's his name.

That sucks, I wonder why no physical copies. My European and Australian brethren, time to import. Is there any reason as to why there won't be physical copies? They never give an excuse reason as to why.

I main Hazama because he's really fun to play, and I've been trying to improve with him for a long time. I also like Yuuki Terumi too, although I'm not interested in playing him. I love Terumi/Hazama's style, with very cool attacks, moves, and clothing. And how can you not love that unique (sick and twisted) personality? He's fantastic.

Well, for me, I find the original Japanese voices are always far better than any dub could ever be, I just love the way they sound. I guess I also like to think that if I'm playing a Japanese game, I should play it in Japanese as well. You can really hear that the Japanese VA's give it their all, and they're amazing. Plus, for me, they double as a language lesson, I've learned all sorts of fun words. (Thanks Terumi!) I've never liked any dub, they just sound so....cheesy(?)and not well done to me. I always change my games to Japanese audio, given the option.

Those do come to mind. I never considered the fact that there could be Bururaji in there. There probably is some in there. I felt like they were probably anime parodies. At least in the Japanese version, the jokes are short, make sense, and are quickly over with until the next joke arises, but in that English disaster, it's a non-stop joke fest that makes me feel like they're not taking the game and it's story seriously, which makes the game feel like the game is one big joke itself.

Can you please give me an example on how the JP version is meme-heavy? I'm no translation-master, but I don't really see how the Japanese version has a lot of memes in it. Then again, I'm also not familiar with very many Japanese memes, either. But if you could please show me an example, that'd be great. I despise all the meme crap they pollute the game with in English, and I also just don't like the English voices at all, to me, they sound nothing like the Japanese voices, and they sound so uninspired and lazy.

In the BBCP STORY MANIACS book it features all of the quotes from the characters in their respective pages, and I read that quote in there as well. I'm guessing it was unused or cut from the final product, but if it is actually in the game, I haven't found it yet, but it seems like I would have heard it by now.
