  1. Having read it, it's actually really good! Really worth a read, guys!
  2. While we're on the Azrael bandwagon, there's also the bit in "Teach Me, Miss Litchi" where he says he despises bullies. An additional +10 manly points for Azrael.
  3. I changed my petition to the other one because that one had more steam, and I'm only really good at attracting people on Tumblr, not Twitter, which is where a lot of signatures can be obtained. I made the right choice
  4. Jubei appears, and Mai's weapon is a replica of Legacy Weapons. It still counts as a Legacy Weapon though, but it's just not as old as the others. Also, big thing coming up: The Boundary Interface Prime Field Device Embryo Test Storage 2095. It's a coffin that's on a monorail to Kagutsuchi that Mai and Kajun happen to be on. NOL believe they're there to steal it, so they're about to get in a fight but boom, Jubae bursts in and the chapter ends. (Got all this from Zedar, and you can find a much more indepth summary by him here.
  5. It will be, just be patient.
  6. Leader of the Zero Squadron is Meifan Lapis-Lazuli. She seems kinda creepy.
  7. @Sourenga is the reason for most, if not all, of those subs.
  8. Is Tenjou really dead though? Ragna wants a word with him using Soul Eater after all. Anyway, Variable Heart probably won't have a lot of Makoto or Noel in it thanks to their comments in CP where they said Mai just went missing after graduation. Given her clothes, we can reasonably assume we're past that point in the timeline. It likely isn't initially set during CF, so we could be seeing it set around the times of the first three games. Well, that's my guess at least.
  9. Woah woah, don't drag me into this, I disagree with the "theory" as much as anyone else
  10. Surely him customising the body would suggest that he wasn't the original creator of the siblings even though they were found in his lab? Regardless of whether Saya's body's human or not, that does give a little more information about their origins (maybe).
  11. Yeah, Rachel doesn't actually have a reading for her life-force. Same with Hibiki's clones. Also worth mentioning that some special creatures have 0 life-force value but can still 'live'. Look at the Apostle that attacked Raquel and lobbed off Naoto's arm in BE1.
  12. Act III image? Never seen Rachel so hacked off.
  13. Always annoyed me how Sechs, Ripper, and Touya are said to look like one another yet nothing was ever elaborated. Or at least I believe nothing was?
  14. Look at her Astral and you'll see that it looks like she's using XBlaze.
  15. Maybe Nine recognises that he's using Bloodedge like Touya once did? Perhaps that's the power she recognises?
  16. Whether or not Raquel is actually Rachel's sister remains to be seen. Vampires aren't really vampires in this series. I'd also like to point out something - Izanami being a Drive isn't something that could be seen as entirely new. Clavis was really an Illusionary Creature, which has an existence similar to being a Drive. Yeah, Izanami's case is more unique but I thought that'd be an interesting thing to point out.
  17. Ultimately, this all depends on your view of what's good or evil. Izanami, and Relius... they're not wrong. Relius calls the world "insane" as it can only be rebuilt from the finite memories of Amaterasu's wielder. That the wheel of Fate comes full circle and things are forced to repeat. Izanami is only bringing about what is natural - death. She isn't wrong for wanting to do this, she's only turning the world back into the state it once was. Nine has witnessed how cruel this world is, and wants it returned to normality for Celica's sake. Rachel wants to protect the current world even though it's only a dream. She's also right because it's a world in it's own right, and it's one she's fond of. Who's right and wrong is up for the players to decide. Neither party's goals for Amaterasu are necessarily good or bad.
  18. Terumi gave Saya the Yukianesa the same time he destroyed her mind. Can't remember exactly how.
  19. Also neat that her crown is the Magatama.
  20. Nah. Black Beast exists outside of Logic, which means only things outside of Logic can harm it. Magic is basically the main way to deal damage, but not everyone could learn it, so Ars Magus was made which allowed instant seithr phenomena manipulation for all, and a way to harm the BB since it also exists outside of Logic. Anyway, with Nox's being the ultimate form of Ars, it mainly took the seithr in the air around the BB to function, which is why the weapons are primarily close-combat (with the exception of Bolverk, which can go close range anyway). Just think of it that you need something outside of Logic to harm something outside of Logic. Valkenhayn exists outside of Logic which is why he didn't need a weapon during the Dark War. It could heal from wounds, I mean, it didn't have a gaping hole through it after Take-Mikazuchi landed its first blast.... well it did for a while, but not for long afterwards I believe.
  21. It's looked like the most plausible theory for a while now. Relius also mentions something about Clavis and how he so quickly deteriorated, to paraphrase of course. Whatever it is, we'll likely find out some clues later on this month if we're lucky.
  22. Two different things. When Saya Terumi uses Soul Eater, it's basically refreshing her and giving her more strength to compensate for the fact that she's got a naturally low life-force value, and isn't very strong without her Drive (come on, she's a 13 year old girl). The technique she used against Valkenhayn more or less put her on his level, but it wasn't specified other than it makes her only powerful for 3 minutes at best. True, she does manage to get a good grip on him so she can use her Drive, but no way would she have had that level of power without that technique. Funnily enough, Relius uses something similar against Jin in CP, and says the Imperator taught him it...
  23. Mmm, not necessarily. To quote from this: "Magic (Majutsu) uses seithr and is used mainly in XBlaze. Ars Magus was created by combing magic with science, which is why it costs seithr to use. Characters that use this include Kuon, Drei, Acht, etc. It was created to combat creatures outside of Logic, such as the Black Beast. Sorcery (Mahou) doesn’t use seithr and actually uses mana (basically the energy of nature). This is what Celica, Nine, and Rachel use. It’s only mentioned by name in an offshoot comment by Rachel during a Teach Me, Miss Litchi segment, where she mentions that it’s harder to master than magic, but hints at it being more powerful. Unlike magic, it doesn’t seem to need any incantation, but does take time to charge up. Celica’s magic is more of an instantaneous thing she can just use, but Nine needed at least a few milliseconds to charge up a fire spell during the peak of her strength during the Dark War. Magic (majutsu), it’s actually a sub category. The big category is known as 術(jutsu, arts) which is the power to create phenomena using seithr. To use it, one uses incarnation and/or tools, so some knowledge is needed to use it. Two sub categories of Arts are Magic (Majutsu) and Exorcism (Onmyou Jutsu). Terumi Saya can also use an art to make her able to fight with super human strength and speed for 3 minutes, but it’s not specified what kind of art it is. Also the mind eater that Izanami uses on Tsubaki is said to be an art as well."
  24. Platinum's background is... unknown. We just know she's from Ikaruga and was trained by Jubei. How Luna and Sena ended up sharing one body is completely unknown. Some people speculate that the body "Platinum" is a materalisation created by Muchourin, and Luna and Sena are two dominate souls in Muchourin's core that drives the body. There's literally nothing on Platinum's history... which sucks.
  25. Valkenhayn's race, the lycanthropes, were made from a magic-like technique (魔術的) which is why he exists out of logic - his race isn't natural per se. Given that Relius and Valkenhayn both recognise Naoto, I'd say it's basically outright confirmed that his "world" is the past. Relius also mentions something about Clavis deteriorating so quickly. What Relius is getting at is that Clavis went from a powerful man to a crippled old vampire pretty quickly, and that soft-confirms that the two are the same person which would mean that the BB Rel, Valks, and Clavis are the same ones from BE. Pretty unlikely that all three got taken from the BE world and then displaced in the BB one, but this is Mori's story we're talking about here... tldr; Naoto's "world" is just the past.
