  1. Unless you're in Europe...
  2. Petition to change the studio while we're at it :v
  3. Out of all the games still in development, Sonic Boom is my favourite :^)
  4. At least Eat Beat Dead Spike-san was a nice little free gift until you see all the fucking DLC
  5. *Finally, the trailer for BlazBlue 4 has come. Loads of new stages, an exciting new story, new designs for characters and the exciting conclusion to the main series after so long* . . . Community: "What do you mean we don't get Saya, Jubei or Nine as playable characters?! Who the Hell wanted -insert character name here- playable anyway?!"
  6. Wrong. It's been confirmed that the PS3 and PS4 versions can interact. The same cannot be said for the Vita, however.
  7. That's part of the quote from HuBBs. It's pretty much an optional ban as I understand it
  8. At least it's a softban that can be discussed instead of a hardban that is basically forced. In the end, it depends on a lot of factors.
  9. I don't appreciate oversexualisation. As stated before, if it's in their character, then that's perfectly acceptable. I don't agree with the over sexualisation of Noel either. DOA attracted me as a fighter. The counter system is beautiful and I thoroughly enjoy the gameplay it has to offer, especially with the dynamic environments such Gambler's Paradise and Temple on the Mountain. I won't deny that DOA got the label it has now because of the aforementioned attributes. It will always be a part of it, but the soft-ban was instated for a reason. It won't stop casual players from enjoying the game and the content. That's my last word on the matter.
  10. I'm struggling to see how this is worth my time since this has progressed into modern feminism and what constitutes suppression, etc. and isn't about the actual game itself.
  11. White knight? Please, I couldn't care less for what sex you are, and I couldn't care less for her sex. Your argument is that since I clearly don't want breasts shoved down my throat, I am a white knight. Sound logic, I'm sure. God forbid I want to play a good fighting game without the boobs in my face. Oh what a world, what a world. The fact that this soft-ban applies mainly to live streams of the game and huge tournaments, I obviously don't get what your point is since it is meant for people who do take the game competitively.
  12. Holy shit, can you actually read or not? I never once confused sex appeal and sexism. Putting words into my mouth isn't getting anywhere and creating a pointless debate. I feel at odds with the sexualisation of characters. I understand that for characters like Christie and Tina, that is part of their character and who they are, I won't deny that. I will deny costumes like Ayane's C34, which is absurd. Yes, because this soft-ban was instated by the minority
  13. Except you just jumped into idiotic conclusions. I don't find the game sexist, I just don't like the sex appeal. It's been stated before that the Xtreme series was for sexualisation, not the main games itself. Words being put in my mouth. I asked for its sexuality to be toned down. I think the minority of players is beginning to be the majority seeing as how this ban has effectively been instated with only the objection coming from those who enjoy watching a porn simulator. What. Nice delusion, m8. I remember when I mentioned that one.
  14. I don't think anyone picked them before because they were DLC and rarely anyone bought them. However, now that LR gives the player these costumes, I can't imagine that they will be taking any chances.
  15. Except no one does. Time and time again, people have just laughed at DOA, calling it over-sexualised and not even bothering to invest any time in it. I'm excited for this ban and I pray to God that it actually makes people see past this status that the company has forced on it for the last nine years.
  16. I feel like the point is being missed here. I'm pretty sure MK has become popular BECAUSE of the gore. DOA isn't popular BECAUSE OF THE HALF NAKED WOMEN. One's good in the eyes of the FGC, one's bad. It really irks me how everyone has been saying since 06 that DOA is a porn simulator and they only focus on the breasts. Heaven forbid that the players of the game actually want to shed that status.
  17. It's still beyond me how some people would rather have their character wear next to nothing than have the game finally get the recognition it deserves. God I hate the FGC sometimes.
  18. Except banning costumes will have a postitive effect. At least members of the community are trying to make a change, which can't be said for others. The main DOA games have only been suffering this sexualised curse since DOA4. DOA2 and 3 weren't anywhere near as sexualised - in fact, 3 actually seemed like it wanted to be seen as a more mature game. Team Ninja constantly tries to back up the community and make DOA be taken seriously, but while it's loading out tons of hugely inappropriate costumes, I honestly don't blame people for not wanting to play the game. As it stands right now, people only see it as a porn simulator, and not the great game that lies underneath.
  19. Can someone please confirm if BlazBlue: Revolution Reburning is actually official or bootleg? It looks bootleg but a few sites, none very credible, have stated that Arc have given it full backing.
  20. The only negative I can see to this new animation is the lack of Kagura's swag walk
  21. If we get a scene like the Noel vs Tsubaki one then my life is complete
  22. At least you guys usually get decent Limited Editions... Sigh. Back to looking at the CSE limited sketches and listening to the CD that I never use...
  23. Lambda wasn't really a mash D kind of character to begin with
  24. Fundamentally changing a character like that is a bad thing. CT Nu changing into CS Lambda isn't as much of a big thing imo because it was the first iteration of the character. Having stuck by the Lambda format for three games, you'd think they wouldn't change her so fundamentally once more. Dividing her into two different characters seems to be the more ideal solution from Arc, so if we just stop moaning about whats happened and just accept it, then that would be great.
  25. That's the thing though. Valk and Litchi are always going to be technically demanding because of their Drive that has always been with them. Asking Nu players to adapt to a completely new thing at the click of your fingers is unrealistic. Also, the input to change was stupid, whereas Valks and Litchi required one button press to switch over.
