  1. OMG I wanna go to NEC so bad. I feel confident enough that I can get top 10 as long as I don't let myself get nervous. It's just too damn easy to win in this game. :P

  3. The 5HS does get Millia really good If you can do it on reaction to her roll, other than that, there's no way. TK Badmoon on wakeup, don't you have to completely stand up and then enter the command for the 5H and it has to startup? I know it comes out extremely fast, but against a well timed TK Badmoon on wakeup, it shouldn't work. As far as doing it after Slash disc FRC, either that Millia player is running up too close to you after the FRC, isn't dashing in fast enough, or isn't throwing out a normal from a safe distance. Yes sometimes it's able to be countered, because for a while I was getting wrecked for doing it because I really didn't know how to use it. I consider it really risky for other players to try and throw out a normal because Millia's 5S beats way too many normals. Her 6P will also beat Robo's 5H counter staggering him and then Millia will have her way with him. She also has the option to do IAD pin after the tandem top frc, so if you throw out a normal, you've been beaten again. There's just way too many possibilities to even bother trying to counter it. It's not worth it to get knockdown against her IMO, when she has you in the corner you're pretty much dead..... Horsie is a safe bet though, Doomscyther has done it to me a couple of times, but once again the 5S and 6P will beat the start up. The S disc frc can be done off any normal, whether it is blocked, or the opponent eats it, and I do it on both. It's too confusing to read. You can probably get away with delaying your wakeup once, but if they repeatedly let you do it then they don't know wtf they're doing. You say you can see Force Break Disc coming, but it's damn near unblockable when Millia has 50 percent tension. I would go into detail, but I don't like sharing my secrets. Robo-Ky has a dumb hit box and weight, so comboing him is a pain if you don't know character specific combos. So most of the time, you guys don't have to worry about being comboed into a corner. This also applies to her throw combo, it's really dumb. I've memorized 4 that work off a throw/midscreen/2corners, so if a Millia hasn't done their homework, the match will be really easy for you because she only really shines in the corner. Robo-Ky also has a ton of defense compared to Millia's very little. Two combos usually get the job done. One thing I know Robo-Ky players shouldn't do against her is Tigerknee Missiles, it's not going to work. She can roll under it, making it a waste of your tension. You also shouldn't try to instant block her combos when she's coming in on you from the air, she has two ADCs and can delay her hits at different times to make sure she isn't thrown/being predictable with it. If she also has her pin while doing it, that makes it even worse. I know for a fact 5H will work wonders if you can do it on reaction to her roll. I don't think you said that there's any way at all for you guys to escape her H disc on wakeup, so I'll leave that alone. I also don't get why a Millia player would tigerknee Badmoon on wakeup other than a Robo player overheating, there are tons of better options that are much safer than that. Secret garden is even a better option at that point. (Millia does have to wait a few frames before summoning another disc after a secret garden or disc has already been done, so that could be one reason) Maybe 5H does work on tk badmoon, I'll have to get Doom to test it for me. I think I have more to say, but if you need to know more just lmk. I'm also in no way calling the ppl you play bad, just saying that it shouldn't work %30 of the time. -Edit btw, No, I had no idea what I was doing in those vids, now I know what I'm doing. :P
  4. If a Millia player is getting beat by any of this, then that Millia player is just bad. It doesn't work and shouldn't work.
  5. You can't do block strings without getting destroyed in the process. It's all a poke and run game, not to mention Baiken's 2D beats a lot of your normals, or at least that's what it feels like to me. Doing a poke and then rolling works a lot for me, or just jumping in for a throw also works. They always have their mind on countering you, especially when they're playing against a character that's really fast. I usually end up using my pin in this matchup the most. That's all I know from my experience.

  8. That Pot beat you because when you were IADing you would use J.2S > J.H, instead of J.P > J.P. He kept doing that charge into you and beating out your attacks. I understand wanting to avoid slidehead by running straight, but I would rather jump. It's much safer. That also got you killed. He got lucky too though.
  9. I was really mad you lost to that Millia >_>. Why don't you burst? The only thing I see is that you're not aggressive, and you lack Mac and Cheese combos. I'll see you at C3.

    All American Dizzy's I've seen/played are sloppy. Mine was sloppy for a while before I started to slow down and actually think about what I was doing. It's too easy to get punished for doing dry summons an IADing all over the place. I moved away from playing her because you have to wait too long to be able to defend yourself. Dry summons are easily punished, and you're running away 2/3 of the time. A lot of players don't do safe block strings either, or even block strings that are easier on hit confirm. It also seems that a lot of the Dizzy players are new anyway. I know I didn't start learning this game until 3 months ago. I guess Dizzy is still alive, it's just been a while since I've seen anyone post in here. No one has even commented on fatewalker's videos and he posted them 17 days ago.

  17. Doing it that way is a little tough and it doesn't always work. I wish I was good at doing the S disc Frc off of 2S, but I can do it off 2D and 5H consistently If I'm concentrating. You're right about it being predictable, but for people that try to escape it or counter you after doing it just do IAD pin after it, because after you've finished your blockstring you should be far away enough from you opponent for it to hit them or make them block it. I think. I'm going to test it out next time I play my friend.
  18. So yeah. How do you beat May? I can't run away and set a H disc without her doing a J.H launching me into the air on counter hit going into the dolphin loop. I can't anti air her when she comes directly over my head with J.2S (I think) without getting punished. I also can't roll out of that or her block string that involves the overhead dolphin because the recovery on the roll is too slow and I will eat a combo. The only thing I can think of is playing cat and mouse the whole game. Trying to make sure I don't get hit. Her hitbox is also really dumb and hard to combo off of a random hair pin hit. So yeah.
  19. Thanks for the comments. I'm trying to find other ways to approach my opponent so that i don't have to always use my pin to get in. I'm going to start using 2D a lot more than 5S and stop rolling every time 2D connects. Sometimes I'm too far away for the roll to get close enough to my opponent so that i can set up oki. Secret Garden is also a good option for me to use after that. Another thing that I've figured out is that it's easier for me to finish my combos on relaunch in the corner if I relaunch with 5S, 2H, instead of J.k. or even just use pretty maze as a relaunch (idk how i forgot about that). I really want to start ending my combos with J.H> Pin > Land> 6HS. Also, how do you IAD after Badmoon Frc? It seems like you have to do some type of input before the frc.
  20. No, it's just that your brother has played you so much that he knows what to expect. We just have to change up the way we play to keep him guessing. He does react really fast though. Also, why don't you use any of those mixups from that video Hatred Edge posted? That looked pretty awesome.

  24. I decided to play a set of 3 matches with my friend against his Robo-Ky and no matter how shitty I ended up playing I was like it's going up. We also both chose a HOS vs MI match to put up. http://youtube.com/user/doomscyther I feel like If I didn't drop so many combos, I would be winning every match. My friend is still really good though. So I'm going to be in training mode practicing delays, because that's clearly my main problem. I've been playing with her a month and a half so idk y this still happens.
