Well this is sort of overdue, but it's time to get it over with. Kobe, I don't know what your problem is, but it's really annoying to play you nowadays. I don't know why you try to chalk my wins up to my character being A tier, her moves being safe, or me just getting plain lucky.The last two times we've played each other you've pissed me off by saying stuff that gets under my skin. Last week you called me a button masher, like I didn't know what I was doing or something. If I didn't know what I was doing, I wouldn't be winning any matches. This week, you decide to complain about how all of her moves are safe, like there are no openings or something. Maybe I just know what to do now in every situation. Don't you remember when I would ALWAYS get thrown every time I land after an aerial blockstring? It was because I didn't know what normals to use. I also didn't know how to abuse my tandem frc or use the hair pin correctly or a SINGLE safe blockstring. I didn't know how to get people to rush me down or have a strategy at all about how to bait normals and stuff. I used to drop an insane amount of combos that would lead to me gaining the advantage in matches. Now that I don't have those problems anymore, I've been able to actually win.
You act like Millia is easy to play or something. There's over 100 different char specific combos, inculding throw combos, corner combos, 3/4th screen, midscreen 1/4th screen. There are combos for every weight class, while Ky/Robo-Ky/Baiken/May/Potemkin all have their own combos that have to be memorized. This is not including combos off random pin hits. Her combos have delays that have to be memorized, and done at certain instances, sometimes you have to jump straight up/back/forward. Hit confirm isn't always easy with her either, so following up on normals are sort of hard.
I understand that her Oki game is retardedly good, but without good practice on how to follow up on hits or misses, it's useless. I've put a lot of time coming up with tricks and pressure to keep people guessing. I don't even use Pretty Maze most of the time, but you still find the time to complain about it. A while back you said my tandem top frc was useless, but now it's part of the reason I have people intimidated when blocking my normals. It's helped me in my rushdown game and gets rid of the normal recovery time that I'd have to deal with.
You don't see me crying about you delaying wakeup midscreen, your DP that goes into a super, or your dumb normals. I didn't at all say that the only reason you were winning today is because of your dp into super, even though it was. I don't say anything about me dying in two combos, whereas I have to do a million different things to deplete your health.
Switch to Testament? So? What's that supposed to do? You're still going to have to deal with my oki/pressure game. If I get you on the ground, grab you, or score a combo, you'll be in the corner having to deal with a lot of tricks. I don't even know why you brought that up. I put time into learning my character and developing strats, whereas you've been trying to pretend like you can play the whole damn cast. I'd rather be bored and good with one character than mediocre with many of them.
Basically I don't understand why you can't just give me credit when I rape you instead of bitching about how insane something is. I always give you props when you pull off stuff. Is this how you always are after people have actually learned how to play?
You're still winning majority of the matches, but you still find the time to cry. It's not everyday you get to play a Millia as insane as mine.
