  1. All right thanks guys, I think I've got it down pretty consistently now. Oh and you can do the combo even if you do Hornet point blank close, just do j.B>j.C>AD>j.C>236D
  2. Yeah if you're magnetized and Tager is 6A'ing you in, 3C him. Sometimes when I'm feelin ballsy I 3D his 6A. Too bad CH 3D>6A doesn't work on Tager though.
  3. If you bait/block her DP, you can punish with a CH 3D, which leads to HUGE damage without a weakpoint. Has to be done quick, probably will not work if you block in the air.

I got inspired to learn those double weakpoint combos with Hornet Bunker (weakpoint) shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sKms8y7kGw8&t=50s I've practiced them a bit and can pull them, though inconsistently. Have you guys practiced these combos? What sort of timing do you use on 214D>j.C>AD>j.C>236D part? The first j.C as soon as possible and then delay the second until you're close to the ground? Share your thoughts!
  5. Waaait... so you can get both weakpoints with a Valiant combo in the corner with 6C>j.C>6B>Hornet>Aerial? Why haven't I been doing this all this time fuuuuu
  6. Imagine if you could decide which way to do Valiant Chaser. You could do cool finishers like that every once in a while. It's like he's stepping back to charge more power, get the momentum to hit you harder... Damn.

  8. Dunno if anyone else has noticed this, but the US version of BBCP doesn't have the encyclopedia section at all. In the JP version, it's right under "Teach me miss Litchi", but in the US version, nothing there. I'm very bummed if they just left the whole encyclopedia thing out (possibly too much translation work?). I was looking forward to that

  11. Hey guys, what air combo do you use on light characters like Baiken? I noticed my BnB air combo j.K>j.2K>j.K>dj.K>j.2K>j.D doesn't work on her as she's just floating away. Should I just keep my combos on the ground?
  12. So I was testing what could punish Koko's super ball, and found out that 6C was the answer. It works anywhere, anytime. These work with normal and instant block. Midscreen? CH 6C carries you away from the ball. Do a 6C CH combo of your choice. You can also OD during superflash and 6B FC her, run a bit so the ball doesn't hit you and start comboing. Corner? 6C CH -> (ball hits) -> 6C > RC > 2C > 5C etc... (OR if you activated OD during her superflash, you can OD Messenga after the ball hits and combo from there)

  14. So, 6A CH combos! Didn't see this here, so enjoy: 6A(CH) > 6B(feint) > 5B > 5C > 22Clvl3 > 41236C > 5B > 5C > 3C > 6D > 236D. 4060dmg or 4960w/623B The opponent can't tech 236D at the end so you can tackle a super finisher for extra damage (if you start the combo at 60 heat, you get super finisher.) The thing with combo is that you have to hit pretty deep with 6A. If you hit them with the tip of 6A you won't reach them. Oh, and you can omit the first 5B if you hit them high enough in the air for 200~ more dmg. One more thing. If they get smart and barrier block 6A in the air, you can let 6B come out normally (if you have those kinds of reactions :8/: ) and it will FC them for trying to punish you.
  15. So, a patch arrived. Notes about Terumi: - Fixed bug with Messenga - Fixed bug with Zanrouga - Fixed bugs with jB, jC Unfortunately, these weren't further explained. Could they be something useful, or just fixes for bugs that happen on a rare occasion? (Didn't even know that there were bugs with these moves, except Zanrouga, cause well... you know, that whole move is buggy )
  16. Ah I see, thanks. The aura can be helpful if you you're playing a close game and can't pay close attention to his points, I guess.

  20. Adding to this, you get a Phalanx every time you perform a Growler, even if it whiffs.
  21. When people go to hubs in the world map lobby that are clearly not close to their own country. For example, happened yesterday: I live in Scandinavia, go to the world map mode and see that "hey, 10 people are playing in a hub closest to my country (RU2), cool, maybe I'll get some good connections". Then I go in to the room and see that they are all from japan with red connections. And I'm like "....WHAT ARE YOU PEOPLE DOING HERE"

  23. Has anyone played with Unlimited Azrael yet? I'm wondering what his new Distortion and special moves inputs are, among other stuff. I know that all his D moves have the "weakpoint applied"-effect by default. Also 5BB doesn't exist? (I got to play with him a few matches in Abyss)
