As many of you know, Arcade Infinity has been around in Southern California for years supporting the fighting game community. Although they did place 2nd in Stride's "Save the Arcade" Competition held this year, they did everything within their power to keep AI going until now. After 10 years of great business, memories and experiences, they are now closing their doors. The news has spread and everyone who knows about this disaster in Rowland Heights are making their last few trips to visit. If you've been to AI before or have always wanted to go and see this fantastic arcade, now is definitely the time to do it! Thus, Eddie Lehecka and Scott Tsai have decided to do a large meet up to show their support and thanks to Arcade Infinity! Def hoping they relocate. :[ But hey guys! Jason and I are heading over to AI Thur Night! With the their "official closing date" being the 31st, we decided to head over there together just in case they do get kicked out and stuff in Jan. So! Whoever is free that night, we hope to see a lot of familiar faces there! (I'd say bring a couple of drinks/let's go drinking- but i know some of you guys have to drive XD) edit: Oh! Clarification on the closing date post here: srk post basically, they let them stay pass their lease date. So it'll be open til Jan 15, i'm assuming!

Yeaaah oh man i'm totally bummed that AI is closing! :[ I was just getting started with going there on some sort of bi weeklyish basis! For anyone else wondering, here's the post about AI and the Dec 31st date: srk post AND as on last hurrah for the closing of AI, it looks like they're also holding a big ass ssf4 tourny thing. Link here for more information. WHICH makes me think we should get together whoever is in the area for one last hype for GG/BB AI Tournament or get together! Thoughts? Thoughts?

DAMN, free GG tourny w/ $40 take all? If you can do that, i'm sure more people can throw in a few extra bucks to make the pot larger (I know i would!). I can also probably pull more friends to go if that's the case! Even if it doesn't happen, i'll pull them along anyway :] Soo, this coming weekend is not a main monthly one? :0 And you can count me in for bringing a ps2 + game :] If plans don't change!
