  1. DP... without my analog stick? The idea seems so unreal, yet executing a DP actually sounds easier with my D-pad now that you put it under the light like that. Is this how most people do it then? Because only 50% of my attempts to use DP in a real match work when I use analog. T^T
  2. I'd like some advice about choosing my main please. So I was a Tsubaki user staarting in CSEX. I had CP in my hands since Oct. 25th, and I finally relearned everything I needed to about Tsubaki. I love strategising and figuring out what works best in a situation, and I love long combos and keeping pressure on my opponent. All this being said, I wanted to consider adopting Izayoi as my main. Ever since I saw her in youtube videos and played as her in training mode for hours, I'm entranced with learning her. But I can't figure out if I should main or sub her. My problem here is I realized she's very DP heavy. I suck at entering DPs mostly. The command is just so... finicky with an analog stick. It's really the only thing stopping me from putting down Tsubaki and figuring out Iza. Any advice?
  3. Sucks how you can't punish 2D anymore. 2D was an absolute monster in CSEX, so not having it in CP is even more annoying.
  4. That's great! Thank you very much!! ^_^
  5. My apologies, *color*. And just the default color please.
  6. Hi there! Not sure if this is in your database or not, but may I have Tsubaki in her pre-battle form (like so: http://www.hellocosplay.com/images/props/blazblue-cosplay-tsubaki-yayoi-boots-1.jpg) but in her new CP colors? I know it's in story mode, no one's made a picture.
  7. Ran out of room, so I couldn't elaborate. But yes, you are correct. The problem being, if he guards it you're technically done for considering A.) You're magnetised, and B.) He pretty much has free combo by the time you even finish reaching the ground. Wait, REALLY?! DP can beat his 360 grab!? Regardless, I never looked at it like that. DP'ing is 50/50 really, but still better than retreating or jabbing.
  8. In my opinion, the super human A.I. crap needs to stop. Prime example, I'm in abyss mode fighting unlimited Mu 12 as Ragna, floor lvl 999. So I go for a Hell Fang, right? She IMMEDIATELY places me inside her secret distortion. *Traps me in a box, places Stein Gunners as they brutally rape me* Those kind if reactions are infuriating as hell. But, then again, it's BB, What're you gonna do?
  9. Tager is my most feared and hated match-up, but an easy one provided you know what to do. When the match first starts, quickly air backdash and get a few charges prepared. I'll say it now, charging Tager "gung-ho" style will get you killed horribly. It's best to either wait for two things. A.) Tager gets impatient and start jump attacking an effort to get close to you, or B.) Tager goes to charging his magnetism gauge. The response to A would be to timely attack him with your anti-air (2C-2C) when he's in mid-air, then punish with a BnB of your choice. For scenario B, now would be a great time to rush him while he's vulnerable charging. After you're done punishing, rinse and repeat the strategy. If he starts trying to close the distance with "Sledge Hammer", punish this with [4]6D > 236D (land projectile then D version of Sanctus Aequum). One last thing, try NOT to get magnetised. If you're in a situation where he picks you up with Gadget Finger, I advise you, NEVER attack on wake up. He'll whiff it everytime
  10. Terumi in my opinion as semi-difficult match for Tsubaki. I advise starting the match by staying on the ground and reacting to whatever your opponent throws at you. Most are keen to spamming air 2D (I think that's the command), where he slams you to the ground and has more leverage to pressure you. The fact that Terumi's BnB's not only usually do around 3k but can get heat quickly is reason enough to punish him into the corner as soon as possible. By doing so, you're in control of the match flow. You never want to be put in a position wher Terumi is pressuring you, especially if he has 50 heat. Overall, all I can really say is punish where needed and stop him from gaining too much heat.
  11. Bullet is the kind of opponent you have to be cautious with. Charging Bullet while she's in her lvl 3 charge state will spell doom for you, if you're up against a player that knows there stuff.. It's best to simply rush her down with mix-ups and BnB's as soon as the match starts. If she ends up fully charged, evade her assaults and try to zone her out from getting too close. Rinse and repeat. One thing I feel I should stress (as mentioned above), is to stay out of the circles radius. It's not wise to fight her when she can easily grab you.
