For GG I'd always stick with JPN because it's the voices I'm used to. I fully expect Xrd to get dubbed and I probably won't use it at all. Maybe a little bit just to see what it sounds like.

Given that this Famitsu is for an update to the arcade version I don't think she's NOT going to be there.

Rise is in the arcade version, her being a pre order or any form of DLC is highly unlikely I would think.

It does make sense when you put it like that, since the characters that make up Xrd's roster are arguably the ones that are the most "unique" from GG and thus create more diversity. In terms of play style obviously.

TBH I think most Ken hate is because people are insecure about young male characters like him and Carl. Also because of him allegedly being responsible for Shinji dying which is bullshit but whatever. Ken isn't my favorite character but in the event he does turn out similar to Venom I'll give him a shot. Or maybe he'll be like Faust, IDK.
